It is a sad day here in Vancouver indeed. They're saying it might have been just because he was too inexperienced to really handle a run like that one. The Georgial team did say that they will be attending the Opening Ceremonies tonight, and that they will still compete in his honour. Our thoughts will all be with them tonight, that's for sure.

I know that if you pre-ordered it at Best Buy, you received a limited edition sleeve for the game case. That's probably what they're referring to.

Actually, it's still being updated over at FF.net.

The latest Chapter (Chapter 25) was released earlier this month.

For me, has to be Bedknobs and Broomsticks.

The ending for that movie is so epic! There's nothing better than watching hexed medieval suits of armor walk around and kick nazi ass!

Plus, anything with Angela Lansbury in it, equals win.

Haha, nope! Minute I found out, I literally ripped my calendar from the wall. XD

I was also able to pre-order it at my local EB so even if I somehow forget, I'm already in the green! (God I'm lame!)

    Webcomics

Oh god, where do I start...

    VG Cats
    CTRL+ALT+DELETE
Questionable Contents (Greatest discovery I have made, thus far!)
    MisFile
    Cyanide and Happiness
    Awkward Zombie
    Ansem Retort
Yahtzee Takes on the World (An Oldie, but a Goodie. Especially if you like Ben "Yahtzee" Croshaw, a.k.a Zero Punctuation)

And a whole bunch more, but sadly a lot of them haven't updated in years, or I just can't recall them right now

It's a sad day when one can look back in time and still see themselves wasting their lives on the internet...

    Ah well!

Not sure if anyone saw my other thread introducing my Zoraxe prop, but I though I'd share the finished product with you all anyway. (As the builder I believe I'm entitled to a little self-promotion...)

    Warning: Somewhat large photos ahead...

I won't reveal too much but the ending in the book is different from that in the movie.

I gotta say though, I did enjoy the book far more than I did the movie, not only did you get much more background information on all the characters, some loose ties from the movie are all wrapped up as well.

It's also a helluva lot more fun to imagine all the blood and various deaths than it is just to watch them! XD

I guess I really shouldn't say anything since I never really gave the movie a chance, but this was my experience.

I paid for the ticket. Sat in the theatre. Watched the previews. Watched the first thirty minutes of the movie. Stood up and left.

But hey, that was just me. It just wasn't good... not even just being a movie, let alone based off an actually existing storyline. Sure the effects (or at least what I saw) weren't bad, but the acting to me was just pathetic. Everything seemed forced and ended up awkward. But like I said, that's just my opinion...

(If this is the wrong section, feel free to move it. I just wasn't sure where to show off my skills! (Or lack of rather....))

    *ahem*

Anyway, here a couple of shots I took of the Zoraxe that I'm building.

What is the Zoraxe you ask? Why it is the name of a custom guitar that Jackson built based after the musical instrument the zora Mikau played in The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask.

Why the Zoraxe, you may also ponder? ...Why not?
