Original Art ova hurr --> http://EdgarGerardo.deviantart.com/art/Poe-57988748 Colouring by moi. Felt like trying something different... and by different I mean simpler... C'nC?
First time colouring, thought I'd take a shot at it. Colouring Skill: +1 Cn'C much appreciated!
"Chancho! When you are a man, sometimes you wear... stretchy pants... Just for fun..." -Nacho Libre and for the lulz...
Just announced during the Nintendo Press Conference at E3... the date has been announced! September 29th, 2009! I got my calendar marked!
Not sure if anyone saw my other thread introducing my Zoraxe prop, but I though I'd share the finished product with you all anyway. (As the builder I believe I'm entitled to a little self-promotion...) Warning: Somewhat large photos ahead... Finally, the completed product: It's a little thicker than I wanted it, but it'll do! (...That's What She Said...?)
(If this is the wrong section, feel free to move it. I just wasn't sure where to show off my skills! (Or lack of rather....)) *ahem* Anyway, here a couple of shots I took of the Zoraxe that I'm building. What is the Zoraxe you ask? Why it is the name of a custom guitar that Jackson built based after the musical instrument the zora Mikau played in The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask. Why the Zoraxe, you may also ponder? ...Why not?
So this is pretty recent and is making a ton of Canadians rather upset with the old "U S of A". http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eyCVhk4_pxc&feature=related I seems that Mr. Gutfeld is really starting to feel the heat, as much of Canada is rightfully outraged. And the fact that he said this all on a day where 4 Canadian soldiers who lost their lives in Afghanistan were brought home... Obviously they were never taught about the war of 1812...
So I was browsing lovely Kotaku-land today, and guess what I ran into? This nifty article! I'd have to agree with one of the comments though, it does look like Louis Vuitton had a Disney-gasm....
So as I was glancing over my ever growing list of bookmarks on firefox, I took note of just how many of those bookmarks were webcomics, which got me thinking... I can't be the only one who reads these comics, or else they wouldn't be as popular as they are. So here's my question... How many, (if any at all) webcomics are you currently/ in the past took to reading? Some of my personal favs are: For Better or For Worse - Though technically not a webcomic, I've been follow FBorFW in the newspaper for as long as I can remember, and finding that it had joined the world wide web I was ecstatic! Cyanide and Happiness - One of the weirdest, vilest, and some times most horrifying, yet hilarious webcomics out there. A must read for anyone who can find the lighter side to anything. Questionable Content - A simple webcomic that mixes the love of both Music and Computers... what's not to like! Sure the artwork wasn't the best when it got started, but look at it now. The help of an ever growing cast, full of unique and relate-able characters, QC will probably go down as being in my top 3 for webcomics for the rest of time! Misfile - A more mature comic, yet it's simple artstyle, manga-like presentation, and story are amazing! The basic premise is a stoner angel get's booted out of heaven for being caught smoking on the job... and of course while on said job, made a huge filing mistake, leaving a boy who now wakes up to discovered he's become the opposite gender, and a girl who lost the last two years of her life, forcing her to re-do all the work she put in to get into Harvard University. Nothing but good times ahead! Ctrl+Alt+Delete - The most popular webcomic on the net, (as voted by thewebcomiclist.com, though many people seem to disagree...) it seems that CAD isn't going to be slowing down anytime soon. It's your typical gamer comic... and yet it's not. A good read in ensured. Then there are the others such as Ansem Retort, VG Cats, Awkward Zombie, F@NB0Y$, Daily Dinosaur Comics... it's seems like my list never ends. But enough about me, I wanna see what kinda of comics you guys read. (What would the point of this thread be otherwise?)
I have officially been on the inside of your beauteous borders for 30 minutes, my thoughts... I really hope my hotels buffet is open when I get there...
I just read on KHInsider that Vincent Corazza who was the voice of Zexion in the NA release of RE: Chain of Memories confirmed in an e-mail reply from a recent fan that he WILL be returning as the voice of the Organization's VI for Kingdom Heart 358/2 Days. Just thought I'd give the heads up!
Just picked the game up yesterday, and started it about 15 minutes ago... I'm at the tutorial part in Traverse Town where it tells you how to move, and control the camera... yet I can't seem to get any farther... Is it just my copy that's doing this? Or has anyone else had these problems?
Mr. T pitys the fo' who doesn't treat their mother right! http://ca.youtube.com/watch?v=7_rBidCkJxo
What would you do if you had a giant cardboard tube to use on the last day of a con, that you could almost but not really fit your whole body into for fun... AND, GO!
Can You Guess My New Fandom?!? The faceplate for my GH controller... now with more TWEWY love!!! 8D (Not completed yet, just unsure of what else to add...) A reaper wing! (Soon I'm gonna have to figure out how to make a coupe of these, all life-size like...) Couldn't choose between doing the red player pin, and the black one, so I settled for both...!
For the past hour or so, I've been trying to find full body pictures of some of the basic, hooded reapers from The World Ends With You... without very much success... (By hooded I mean the Red Hooded ones, and the two different Black Hooded ones...) If anyone wouldn't mind assisting me with this, I'd be very grateful... 8D
Heck yes it is! -Nintendo Power, V229 Now, I know that you can find the translated scans of both volumes online, and although I have downloaded them all already, I'll still probably pick up those two volumes. I mean come on! It's freekin' Zelda!!! Anyone else anticipating this release? Or could you all care less?
Mmmmm, probably not... Anwho, yes. I was bored, and sick, and had a pencil near by and some blank paper... this be the outcome... (Please ignore... 1) The terrible "photo" quality... scanner's on the fritz... 2) The random, fainter doodles in the background of the three main images... it was really thin paper...) Yes I know, it's only head shots. Not too sure yet what the body will look like, and/or if I can even draw the body... The shading on the hair is just so that I can remember that the tips of his hair is a different colour than the rest...
Some of you love... Some of you hate it... Me? I'm officially terrified of Mariah Carey thanks to this song... If you listen to the lyrics, they make her seem like some sort of psychotic, stalkerish, whore! Take this wonderful line for example... "Cuz if you run your mouth and brag about this secret rendezvous I will hunt you down" So basically she's saying "Oh, By the way... if you tell anyone about this... I... Will... KILL You... *insert creepy smile and eye twitch here* ...Okay, I understand it's not a good thing to spread rumors and such, but "I will hunt you down"? Honestly? I'm sorry, but from the first time I saw her say that so innocently, and with that "goody-goody" smile... I ran and hid under my bed for a good half an hour... (I can't even turn on the radio part of my alarm clock without being reminded about Mariah Carey's charming death threat...) And then she goes on to you usual rambles of how she wants you to "Ba dunk, Ba dunk" her " Mc Boing Boing" like many of her songs detail... but you could care less, since your still scratching your head trying to figure out how she was able to sneak that pleasant little "reminder" in without anyone else noticing... Then there came the video... where she tries to distract most people with her regular wardrobe of tight, reflective mini dresses and random insertions of wind in the most awkward and unlikely times/places; from the main point of the song that is "if you make me look bad... you won't even have the time to regret it...". Not only does she pull off that ploy, but she also hires this "Geek Squad" wannabe, and play him off as the "True" creeper... HA! Many may have seen through your hidden intentions Mariah, but I haven't! I see you for who you truely are! A sick, twisted minded individual... who feeds off emotions of young, innocent men, threatening them until they do your every whim with just a simple flick of one of your well manicured nails! ...I should probably stop now, I believe I got my point across, and it would probably be in my best interest to now change my name and flee the country for a few months... But before I go, feel free to reply with any comments, concerns, and so forth. Thank you for taking the time to read my rantings, but remember, now you'll be as much "wanted" as I am...
It was a bit of a task to take it home after work... but now that it's here, I have no regrets...
