If this is wrong I don't want to be right:

All joking aside this is just really cool. Halo/Metroid/The Matrix is all you need to know.

I was rewatching this and I think it might be a little . . . racy, can someone let me know if this is okay to post?

    Spell Check

This is not actually a suggestion for the forum but actually the people who use it. Firefox 2.0 has a spell check for forms. If you are not using Firefox I suggest you do it will make your posts much more legible, I know it has worked wonders for me and my normally bad spelling.

I am totally sick of the narcissistic threads asking people if they are liked, so I am making a nice blanket statement for all.

This is something I wanted to do, but is also a response to the "best swordsman" thread. pretty simple question: who is the best with a gun of all anime characters. With two categories:

Most Talent (as in the best shot with the most finesse):
    Most Bada** (pretty self explanatory):

It rained today. Now don't get me wrong, I love the rain so much in fact that when it is raining really hard and I have to run from class to class, my adrenalin begins to pump and I feel exhilarated. But when it rains and I get to feeling excited, I want to do something exciting. I wound up begging my friends to dare me to do something, anything that would be different from the norm; I even convinced my friend to go a few blocks out of the way just so that something exciting might happen.

Nothing happened. I became a little depressed. All the adrenalin, gone to waste, unused. Its like when my heart starts raising and I get exited a space in side my opens up for some exciting and fun experience to fill, but when nothing happens I feel disappointed and a little empty. It was a real let down.

I do not know what any of you can do about it, maybe nothing, but I felt like expressing it.

This actually happened a few months ago. This is probably the first story I wrote that I was actually proud of. I wrote in an email to a friend totally stream of conscientiousness, so it is not perfectly edited. Remember this is a true story, and here it goes:

I had a weird experience today. My eyes were bothering me, so I put on my sunglasses to keep the sun and wind out; it was about 5:30 PM but still light. I was hungry so I went to the burrito shop a couple of blocks from my house. I got to this annoying five-way intersection where the lights take forever to let people cross. I had started to space-out: looking up into the hills, when this woman asked if I wanted to cross. I looked up, and the little white man on the light was walking. I would have missed the light if it had not been for her, so I said thank you. She replied that she liked helping people. It took me about 20 seconds to realize she thought I was blind. Blind! It must have been the sunglasses, the staring into space, and the missing of the light that made no sound!

At that point I was too embarrassed to correct her. If I told the truth I thought that she might think I was some kind of a grifter: going around town pretending to be blind to take advantage of people's trust. Also, she would probably feel very stupid for thinking me blind! Even though all the reasons that I should not tell her I decided to tell her but by that time she half a block away in the opposite direction I was going, I could have caught up to her but by then it would have been too late and it would have only confirmed the things I said earlier for her.

Now I don't know if I should feel bad for fooling a kind, thoughtful, blind-people-helping lady or if I should feel good for making someone's day by letting them help a blind 17 year old (I know I feel happy after helping someone out). What do you think? Another interesting thing is that she I met the woman 3 blocks form my house so, odds are that she will see me walking around without not blind and think I was trying to con people by pretending to be blind. Should I pretend to be blind every time I go out, so she won't find out the truth? I hope I never see her again.

There is a chance that she was just being helpful (but it is unlikely because of all the evidence that pointed to my being blind) and that all this is just a testament to my own insanity.

You are in an open space with no barriers around you and you opponent are presented with a power drill and a fairly staple gun. You can pick one and you will start 20 feet or so away from each other. Which would you pick?

I am not sure if this is too violent. I do not think so because I am not describing the fight in graphic detail, and if other people want to that is just them being stupid and they will probably get warnings.

    Non-posters

Do you think that people who have never posted (at all, zero), that after a certain number of days should have their accounts expire?

This does not mean that if you take a break your account will be deleted, but instead that people from the moment that they joined have never posted should have their accounts expire.

What if you met someone that you knew from the site in real life in safe context like you both found out you went to the same school. Not that one your friends recommended you to the site but that someone you had not known outside the site met you on the outside.

Do you think it would be awkward? (a lot of people share some pretty personal stuff here)

Do you think you could have a friendship online and have it transfer to the real world?

Do you think most people have different personalities online? How different?

P.S. I'm not sure if this is "intelligent" enough for "intelligent discussion" so I put it here anyway.
