    Oh, heck yes for both!

I've been thinking more Mark Hamill for Vexen, though. Think about his Joker voice/laugh. Seriously.

And for Marluxia: Sean Bean (Boromir -LotR, Ian -National Treasure). I think his voice fits perfectly.

Okay, then. They are apprentices, not warriors, and Xehanort is a master. What does this have to do with them not weilding keyblades? Can apprentices of a keyblade master not weild the keyblade? At this point in time, considering the trailer analysis, Mickey is too an appretice at this point, and yet you do not deny he weilds a true keyblade.

Eh? The Keyblade disappears if it is in danger of sustaining heavy damage such as this? When does this happen in the game? I don't recall any time when it would ever have had a need to disappear to avoid taking damage, and even if it did, is their proof that Sora (or whoever) did not do this intentionally?

Please, point me in the right direction on that one, because that may very well have beaten me, if there is evidence behind it.

True. That wasn't really a theory, though. Just speculation on the powers of the keyblade. So, I'll have to agree.

Well, considering that Riku used Way to Dawn while Kairi used the keyblade Riku gave her, it is obviously not the same keyblade as Way to Dawn. While there is no doubt that this is a real keyblade, this may have been a keyblade specifically meant for a Princess of Heart to weild, and was given to or found by Riku during his travels for when he would eventually meet back up with Kairi. Or perhaps he simply found a keyblade without a master, or created one himself. I don't know. The only thing I do know for certain is that it isn't Way to Dawn, Riku's own keyblade. Also, if it was his own, he gave it to Kairi willingly - who may have been a chosen master, or her Princess of Heart status and able to weild it herself - so it didn't return to his hand.

And the Soul Eater, that "evolved," if you will, into Way to Dawn, was not like TVA's. It was not key-shaped like these are, and appears to be only a weapon fashioned from darkness by Maleficent for Riku's use. So, if anything, it shows that these are closer to the Way to Dawn - a true keyblade confirmed by Nomura. They simply don't have keychains on them.

And saying that there are different types of keyblades just exemplifies the likelihood of these being real keyblades. If there are different kinds of keyblades, why wouldn't these be real keyblades? If they are slightly different from the Keyblades we've seen thus far, they could still very well be true keyblades, just of a different sort.

Also, others can weild a different person's keyblade, but it appears that this can only be if that person is too a keyblade master. Because when Leon and Sparrow try to use it, it just automatically comes back to Sora's hand. But this doesn't have really anything to do with the rest of the argument.

Actually, that makes a lot of sense. But I don't think they would look so very much like real keyblades if they weren't. I mean, if they were something like the Soul Eater, they would probably look more like a sword of some kind. Not the giant key-shaped weapon.
But, about their master not giving them keychains just yet, that makes a lot of sense. Since they are just apprentices, perhaps when they grow and experience enough, they will fashion their own keychains from their hearts and minds, and they will be ranked then as a warrior/master or something.

Which could also explain the Lingering Spirit's ability to change his keyblade. He may have reached the highest rank of Keyblade Bearer, and have experienced enough that he can actually control the appearance and function of the Keyblade itself.

@Pika_Power: Well, I think that we can agree that the Lingering Spirit is much more powerful and advanced than Sora, no matter what weapon it is. I mean, even if that is a quality of a "Chaserblade," it must take a lot of practice to be able to use so many powerful abilities so quickly and so accurately. I mean, he has been named the most difficult boss in KH, surpassing even Sephiorth. So, why couldn't he just be a keyblader with extreme knowledge and power over the keyblade.

And I'm kinda liking the idea I stole from Erks. That they don't have keychains yet because they are apprentices and they and their keyblades haven't experienced enough yet to obtain keychains. While MX has a keychained keyblade, and he is dubbed a Master.

As for them using the keyblades of fallen keybearers, that is also very plausible. I can fully agree with that. Of course, that would still make them keyblades. Just disused keyblades. Meaning that eventually, as TVA go on, they could get keychains for them. I like that idea too.

And I am quite aware that I'm being very one-sided. I like doing that. I enjoy finding arguments to go against you guys. Gives me something meaningful to do. And its getting harder! But we do need people devoted to each side, just as we need mediators. :D

He seems to be rather emo for allowing the darkness to enter his heart and for letting himself being taken over by Xehanort's Heartless. So, he could put his arm out of use as toll for his "sins."

    *Looks back at original post*

Oh. That's what you're talking about. Didn't see that second part there.

Yeah. Riku never lost his heart to the darkness. He allowed the darkness to enter his heart, but never completely lost it. It always stayed with him. When he turned to Dark Riku, he simply had Xehanort's heartless within him. Then, both his heart AND soul left his body to protect Kairi, and both pieces together went to the realm of darkness until Sora defeated Xehanort's heartless, at which point Riku's body returned to him, and he entered Castle Oblivion. Since his heart was never separate from his soul, he could not have created a Nobody.

I don't really think that the Proof of Existence portals go to their bedrooms. That is, unless Luxord sleeps on an empty, slanted balcony. That's more their preferred room and their personal fighting quarters. Saix's opens up to the moon, allowing him to go into berserker mode when he needs to. Luxord's is a big open space where he is able to use his stupidly large cards. Xemnas' leads up to the Alter of Naught, where he can command the nobodies, converse with Kingdom Hearts, and look out over all his creation. It is also where he rules and fights from.

I think that the Hall of Empty Melodies is either Xigbar's (with the sniping balcony and easily changed floor) or Demyx's (come on. The hall of empty MELODIES)
Xaldin's would likely be something like the bridge where you fought him in beast's castle, where he could use his dragon lance desperation move thing easily.
Vexen's is probably filled with scientific equipment that he can use to make data replicas to fight for him
    No idea for Lexaeus.
Zexion would likely be in a library
Axel's is probably cylindrical, to use is fire floor technique.
    Got nothing for Larxene
Marluxia would probably be like a dome, like a conservatory with glass walls.
    Got nothing for Roxas too.

I have a theory, based on Roxas' response to Axel on the clock tower: "I think the heart is something you can't see. And I'm starting to think that, maybe it's something you can't even feel." I think that, through the connection between Roxas, Axel, and Namine, the three of them started to create a heart. Maybe not each their own heart, but from their memories of emotion and their strong connection, they started to create one central heart that they could all feel from. Thus why they were so attached, and why Roxas and Namine seemed to have a romantic relationship going, and why Axel and Roxas had such a strong bond of friendship, that none of the other Nobodies could feel.

This entire post is off topic.

They didn't say Axel was dead in CoM, he was in Castle Oblivion, killing off everyone. Sora beat him in battle, and may have made Sora believe he was dead, but just teleported out and let Sora take care of Marluxia, while he sought out the Riku Replica.

In KHIIFM, Axel dies defending Sora. For one instance, Roxas and Axel appeared, alive and separate, to say one final farewell to each other.

Yes, we all know they have X's. Their names are their original selves anagramed with an x
    Xemnas - Ansem
    Xigbar - Braig
    Xaldin - Dilan
    Vexen - Even
    Lexaeus - Aeleus
    Zexion - Ienzo
    Roxas - Sora
The rest we can only guess.

I really don't think it has anything to do with Ven. I have two theories on it:

First off, Axel says "Roxas, you have a heart don't you? Not like me and Namine." Well, Roxas' heart was still alive, and not in a heartless. Axel, and the rest of the Organization either had their heart held captive by a heartless or was already in Kingdom Hearts. Therefore, not alive and whole like Sora. And Namine did not have a true body and heart, being born from both Sora and Kairi's hearts being released from Sora. She did not have one single heart to call her own, and was truly a Nobody, even amongst the other Nobodies. So Roxas' heart was really just the living Sora, and because Sora's heart was active, Roxas was able to sort of feed off of it.

My second theory is more based off of Roxas' response: "I think the heart is something you can't see.

It's not a bandage. I don't even think it's a brace. It's just a decorative piece of material, by the looks of it. Looks comfortable.

Although, he doesn't really use that arm much. Perhaps it is something like Auron, where he wraps it and doesn't really use it as a symbol for having lost something.

Okay, I don't really feel like reading through 8 pages of posts, so excuse me if these topics have already been spoken for.

I believe that Terra, Aqua, and Ven are true Keyblade Warriors (not necessarily masters during this game, but they have the ability to wield and use the Keyblade). Why? Because so far the only evidence we've had to the contrary is A) They don't have keychains and B) Ven's broke.

First off, we just plain don't know if a keyblade can break or not. We've never seen any experience before where a keyblade may have broken but did or did not, except in the secret ending. And why can't the keyblade break? Sure, it is a weapon with magical properties, but it has never been stated before that one of those properties is being unbreakable. By the look of that spell, it was probably the equivalent of dipping Ven into liquid nitrogen, not to mention the black steam that rose off of him after it, making it quite obvious that the spell was surrounded by powerful dark magic, that may have even broken any protective magic that covered the keyblade. That, plus falling off a cliff and hitting hard rock at that velocity, I can see anything, magical or no, being shattered. So, I don't think that the brittle metal of the keyblade shattering holds any sway over whether it is a true keyblade or not.

And that's not to say, as I saw someone say on the first page, that it could not reform. That seems much more likely than that the keyblade is unbreakable under any circumstance: that it can reform if broken, if but only by the hand of its master.

As for the other point, there has also been no evidence thus far that claims that a keyblade cannot have a keychain. A keychain is simply an object (likely an object that holds significant importance to its owner) that is attached to the keyblade that alters its appearance and properties. It is not an object that makes a keyblade. It just makes it more powerful. What do you suppose would happen if Sora took the keychain off of his keyblade? Do you think it would simply vanish into thin air? No longer exist, because you can NOT have a keyblade without its keychain? Do you think it would lose all its keyblade properties? Why would that be? It's not the keychain that gives it the power to unlock any lock, that is inherent in the blade itself.

After all, the qualities that make a keyblade are, as I've said before:
-A blade that is shaped in the form of a key
-Has the power to unlock any lock
-Only the Master can wield the Keyblade, and can summon it to his will
-If it has been stolen, it will return to its master's hand
-Can release the captive heart of a defeated Heartless

Well: TVA's keyblades are blades the shape of keys, we have not yet seen whether or not they can open locks, we have not seen them try to summon their blades, or anyone else try to wield them or steal them, and Heartless don't exist yet. So, from what we've seen, we can only assume they are in fact keyblades.

If you still believe that not having keychains makes them unreal, take a look at this:
    http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v627/Packs/Weapons/ES.png
    http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v627/Packs/Weapons/aqua.png

Terra's and Aqua's keyblades are there. And lo and behold, they have keychain slots (You can see Aqua's if you look really closely at the end. It doesn't get along with the grey background). Since each keyblade has an attachment extending off the end with a hole, it is safe to assume that the warriors could put keychains onto their blades if they so wanted. Even more evidence for them to be keyblade. As for Ven's we don't yet have any renders or good shots of it, but it is likely that there is a keychain slot somewhere on there, as well.

    That is all.

Actually, since Terra picked up the Kingdom Key in the first trailer, he would likely have been the one to pass on the Keyblade, and therefore, would probably be the one to usher him into the world of the hero. So, I think it was his voice, not Ven's. However, it is quite possible. Either of them would explain why we didn't get to hear the voice. They didn't yet have voice actors.

That being said, I think that Riku went through the same before receiving the Way to Dawn, and that Ven talked to him here.

Well, considering that they spend the game looking for Master Xehanort and his apprentice, and fight them separately during the game, and they have nice spiffy armour that they don't have through the rest of the game, it's likely that it is very near the end of the game, if not the ending cutscene.

Well, the top and bottom ones are new, at least to me. Nice find. Where'd you find them? Perhaps there's a new scan that's been overlooked...

And yeah. Definitely not heartless, and definitely not the heartless symbol. Nomura didn't just say that there weren't going to be heartless in the game: he said that heartless weren't created yet in the KH universe at this point in time. There obviously aren't going to be heartless in the game if they don't exist yet!

Well, we only just recently obtained scans of Ven being a playable character. I think the alpha testers and such are playing first as Terra, then going and fixing the bugs, then playing as Ven, then fixing, and will play as Aqua lastly, so we should be seeing scans of Aqua (or if not, whoever the third person is) coming up soon. I doubt it would be anyone other than Aqua, though. I mean, why would they put her on the poster and in the trailer, if she wasn't going to be the third person?

Yeah. This is ancient. This is the first picture that we got of the actual game, that they had in front of the private screening room for the trailers.

And yeah, I don't have a problem with Mickey being in the middle. What's wrong with it? Can't think of anyone else who should be there, or even could be there. Can't be Sora, because he's going to be asleep throughout 358/2 Days, a 6-year-old minor part of BBS, and a digital replica in Coded. Can't be Riku, because the only difference between he and Sora is that he's a boss that's probably only encountered at the end of 358/2 Days. Mickey, however, has been shown in definitive close-up screenshots for all three games. He seems to be the knot that ties the three together, hence, they put him in the middle of the three posters.

They couldn't done a better picture of him, though. He looks ******ed in that picture.
