Man, this takes me back... I remember when this game first came out, I spoiled myself silly, mainly because back then, Europe had to wait 6 months until it final arrived. It was also the year I bought a PS2, just for the sole purpose of playing Kingdom Hearts 1 and 2 back-to-back. Since then, I've seen that the PS2 has so much more to offer, and I couldn't be happier that I bought both it and Kingdom Hearts 2.
Great job guys! It's a good prelude to the KH:3D fandub production that will be coming when the game is released, and I couldn't be more excited, because I'm part of the cast this time! Looking forward to more awesome and great fandubs Mike!

Wow... I didn't expect to be cast for all three roles I auditioned for, that's quite a surprise! This fandub turned out great and I can't wait to see more once the game is released next month, heck, I think I'll be in some of them for all I know.
Hey Mike, just an FYI, I sent you my audition this morning, so you might have got it at around 1am where you were. I would audition for the Tron Legacy characters, the problem is I haven't seen the film, so I won't be able to know what they should sound like. Also, it is kind of late where I am right now, so voicing an audition now would not be a good idea at such short notice. If you have any issues opening my audition files, let me know and I'll send them to you again.

While it is a shame that I didn't make it into the final product, I'm happy to see my voice acting getting appreciated. With over 80 auditions, I'm surprised that I was on the short list for Jiminy Cricket and Joshua, the two voices that I thought I did the best job in. If there is another chance to audition Jiminy Cricket and Joshua anywhere else like on the VAA, I'll probably go for it and see where it takes me. Now that I'm a member of the VAA, I can open myself to new opportunities and get into this great community of intelligent, mature and friendly people.

I'm glad that it's coming out soon. Mike sure has been working overtime on this, and I think everyone appreciates his efforts to get this out ASAP. Also, the fans of the production have noticeable patience and didn't rage about the trailer not coming out on time, that's a loyal and mature fanbase right there, you should be proud! I'm pretty sure Mike will be full of requests on how to improve their voice acting, and I should also make some sort of appointment with Mike, since I haven't had anyone judge my voice acting, and I'd like to hear about it from someone whose been doing this for years.
Seeing these high resolution pictures make me believe that KH3D definitely has better graphical quality than the PS2 games. I, personally, am worried about the touch screen implementation in KH3D. It looks tacked on and in a fast paced game like Kingdom Hearts, there doesn't look like it will flow well with the battle system. Considering that 358/2 days and re:Coded didn't bother with this, and KH3D being the enhanced game, you'd think they would stick to that trend. It's good to see the return of two party members, though they aren't Donald and Goofy, unfortunately. I have some concerns about how the dream eaters will be implemented and/or if it will make the game too easy, but I have faith in Square-Enix and it should make for an original and entertaining battle system.

I would say it's because on the VAA, it's an entire forum deicated to voice acting and auditioning, whereas kh-vids is more about Kingdom Hearts in general. Voice acting is a small part of a website deicated to plot discussion, cutscene logs, top 5 videos, talking about the future of the franchise and many more options that are available on kh-vids. I wouldn't be suprised if more people from the VAA auditioned, since it reaches out to a broader audience and not just fans of Kingdom Hearts, but fans of Diseny and The World Ends With You as well.
Personally, I find the choice of weapon in Kingdom Hearts to be pointless. If you've noticed, throughout every game, the mystery of the keblade is never mentioned or explained aside from the one given in the first game. Nothing explaining why Terra, Ventus and Aqua have one, not even Mickey, Kairi and Riku have an explanation. The only real mention about the purpose of the keyblade was in the first game, explaining the purpose of the keyblade and why only Sora can wield it. This explanation has been carried out through every game: it can unlock any door and shut gates to stop heartless from invading the other worlds. The explanation was expanded in Birth by Sleep, that being a keyblade wielder involves you fixing the balance of light and darkness, but even this is vague and gives us a reason why the protagonists are constantly fighting monsters. It's appearance doesn't matter and doesn't effect it's abilities, all it really is is just a way to give an RPG style of gameplay by changing your weapon to give it better stats. The only exception to this rule is the keyblade that unlocks peoples hearts, but even this is barely give any description aside from what I just mentioned. I'm probably going too in-depth with this, but in short, the appearance doesn't matter and the fact that a lot of other people have keyblades creates a plot hole that might be filled sometime in future games.
