{RE:}Quest for Reason. From the Journal of Holy von Telos 17th, Entropus, 1457 AC. I think I may have found it. The other Archon's have been yammering about this for centuries, but no one ever knew just how to pull it off. If there really are other worlds out there, they wouldn't exist solely to stay independent of one another. The only tricky part is tuning into their momentum. It would have to be something big, something powerful happening all at once. It makes my head spin just imagining all the possibilities. All the disciples I could employ. All the slaves I could steal. All the abilities that I could consume. All, for me. Let those who stand against me fear my arrival, and let those who would aid me relish their rewards. This tiny world of mine ceases to amuse me. __________________________________________________ That evening, after many sleepless hours, Holy von Telos, the unchallenged dictator of a nameless world had felt it. He could feel the pulse of something big, reverberating through him. He felt the world beneath him humming with a similar vibration. It seemed as though the heart of the world itself was moving, pulsing, beating. Holy pulled his arms outward, mentally reaching for the other distant pulses. He clenched his fists, pulling them inward and together. A grin covered the man's masked face; the ground beneath him began to shake; The world outside his lavish castle had changed. RULES I think this section pretty much speaks for itself. But let's go over things just in case. {I}> Follow the KH-Vids.net Code of Conduct. No spamming, flaming, cybering, or anything of the like. Failure to comply will result in immediate expulsion from the thread. I don't want to be in any sort of trouble for something I had nothing to do with. {II}>If you would like to play a character, send me a private message or a message on my page letting me know who, I would rather not have the OoC cluttering up the roleplay. I will keep a list on the front page of how many more characters I'll be taking. Also, characters are to be played as themselves, with their personalities, abilities and sexualities in-tact. In order to keep a proper balance in this, it is paramount information that All characters are equal, your Original Character is no stronger than any others, however, Main Characters may take priority in a battle. This is to ensure that everyone has their share of fun, and that the plot I have in-store is not to be taken over, in accordance to Rule IV. {III}>I know that not everyone can write a whole lot, but I still want some decent posts. So please, at least two paragraphs. Paragraphs are five-to-eight sentences. I won't crack down super-hard on this rule, but you have been warned. Literacy and proper grammar are huge pluses as well. Most important though, is making a post that someone can actually respond to. I don't want you to drudge through making a ten+ line post of just what your character is thinking or just having your character sit there. Do something, be active. Also, not really a rule, but a suggestion, is to have the following Code somewhere in your post. It helps with character organization and backtracking. Characters need to keep things at a PG13 level, be it Violence, language or... romantic activities. Violence and romance of every kind are heavily encouraged in this roleplay, but please, be reasonable with it. I don't want you to describe to me how you've lost your arm and the remnant stub is leaving a bloody mess everywhere. Nor do I need your characters' sex in here. About the RPer's now, Do not try to shape the entire story for yourself, this is a team effort. Don't ignore other players, no flaming, trolling, spamming, god-modding (God-modding pertains to power playing, ever-dodging, never-tiring, writing your character out of a situation that seemed impossible), and auto-hitting (making contact with another character without the Roleplayer allowing it.). {V}>Rules are subject to change, and will probably change constantly. PROVINCES The separate sections of the new world, all slammed together like a puzzle made from pieces that came from hundreds of unrelated sets. The Provinces may end abruptly; like, the border of a province could be through where a building was, causing only half of the building to be transported in the cataclysm. Or a forest suddenly ending halfway through a tree and starting with a city right afterward, etc. If you're the first one to submit a character from that series, let me know and tell me of a good spot to make a province out of. Here's the list! Holy's Dominion A run-down city on the verge of scientific advancement surrounds a lavish, over-sized castle. The buildings appear to be early Victorian, almost, but the rust and wood molding could fool you. The World That Never Was - Kingdom Hearts A city blanketed in a never-ending night, its dark skyscrapers crowd the skyline, as if reaching upward to grab the heart-shaped moon that looms overhead. Shadowy creatures known as Heartless are constantly on the hunt here. Iwatodai - Persona 3 A typical port-city located in Japan, bustling with life. However, due to the cataclysm that brought the worlds together, Gekkokaun High School is now permanently transformed into its Tartarus state. Dark creatures called Shadows have made this place their home, and they swarm ever one of the tower's well-over-two-hundred floors. I am currently accepting reservations for any character __________________________________________ COME FORTH! Minato Arisato XXI|The Universe Placid silver eyes flared open, the shaking of the floor beneath the boy woke him from his momentary sleep. Minato Arisato awoke atop Tartarus. The eerie yellow moon hung above him, tainting the very sky around it with a fearful green glow. The moon's green aura spread outward like dropping a colored liquid in a glass of water. It seeped slowly, as if attempting to encroach upon the black night itself. The blue-haired teen shook his head. This wasn't right. For the sake of the world, he should still be sleeping. If he was awake, that meant that the Great Seal was broken. The smiling yellow crescent overhead haunted his gaze again as he tried to gather a bit more information. It looked as though the Dark Hour had returned, Tartarus along with it. Whatever was shaking the earth far below him moments ago possibly had something to do with it. The Persona User shrugged. There was no point in just standing here. He descended down the stairway near the rim of the tower's roof, and proceeded downward. On the second floor down, the blunette noticed a familiar green light emanating from a strange device. Well, at least the Access Points were still in tact. Drudging through fifty floors in one night was a hassle, let alone the entire tower. Note: This is a repost of LilBueno's RP. The story was mostly made up by him. Both LilBueno and I are in charge. |~Spoilers for the entire Kingdom Hearts series~| "My name is of no importance. What about you? Do you remember your true name?" Terra. Master Xehanort. Xehanort the apprentice. Ansem, Seeker of Darkness. Lingering Sentiment. And of course, Xemnas, Superior of the In-Between. All of these names, these people, something is special about them. They are all, in some strange way, one and the same. Long ago, years before Sora and Riku thought of leaving the island, way before Kairi woke up on Destiny Islands, decades before they were even born, Destiny Islands had a native. His name was Xehanort. Xehanort, like Sora and Riku after him, longed to see new worlds. Eventually, he not only got his wish, but he also got a Keyblade. Over time, he became a Keyblade Master. He also started to lose his grip on his sanity. After the events of BBS, he merged with Terra and unwillingly left the Lingering Sentiment with life. After they battled, he became the amnesiac Xehanort, apprentice to Ansem the Wise. Sometime later, Xehanort split into two: A Heartless, and a Nobody with a team. During KH1, Xemnas found the Lingering Sentiment and recognized it. The two both hated and needed each other. Xemnas felt that LS was the key to his memories and LS felt that Xemnas was the key to being whole, but something was still missing...a heart. At the end of KH1, Sora defeated "Ansem," or Xehanort's Heartless. But the Heartless didn't die. In it's last moments, it escaped, running to fight another day. Unfortunately for him, he was found by Xemnas. Xemnas absorbed Xehanort's Heartless, but locked the heart deep inside himself so as not to revert to a whole person just yet and still keeping his power. (Seriously, you never wondered why Xemnas was so strong and could do all that stuff?) Going back on his word to his old armor, Xemnas felt his heart held his memories and that he was strong enough to carry out his plans without the Lingering Sentiment's power. Thus, KH2 happened. However, the exact thing happened again. Sora thought he defeated Xemnas, but he didn't destroy him. Same with the Lingering Sentiment. The two counterparts found each other and merged, and thus, Xehanort was reborn. Due to his unique existence, Xehanort had his apprentice body (Terra with white hair) but Master Xehanort was in control. Terra was revived, but he was trapped as a spirit in his gauntlet on Xehanort's left arm. Xehanort also found himself with new powers, far surpassing his original's, or Xemnas. He also realized that he could dual wield Master Xehanort's original Keyblade with Terra's Ends of the Earth. He started a ritual in order to revive Organization XIII, but was found out by Mickey. Mickey enlisted Sora and Riku's help through a letter that kept us guessing for years after we beat Kingdom Hearts 2. Because of this, Xehanort couldn't revive all of his followers, but he succeeded in some. Calling themselves "The New Order," they were able to hold their own against Sora, Riku, and Mickey. In fact, our heroes were defeated quite brutally. In order to get rid of the thorn in his side, Xehanort banished Sora to the Realm of Nothingness. Sora couldn't find a way home, but he never lost hope. Suddenly, a voice called out to him. It promised him great power. It told him he would be able to control not just light, but darkness as well. And he wouldn't be at risk like anyone else. He could use the power to defeat Xehanort and the New Order. All he would have to do is agree to let the voice help him. It took some pestering, but when the voice told him that Xehanort is the reason it was in the Realm of Nothingness as well, Sora finally agreed. Riku and Mickey tried to find Sora, but they couldn't. Riku, however, believed that Sora could find his own way back and that he will. With that, they took on the New Order again. In the middle of the battle, Sora showed up in his silver Final Form. Floating behind him were three Kingdom Keys. Laying next to him, was an unconscious Roxas. Before Mickey, Riku, and even the New Order could get over their confusion, Sora reverted back to normal, but with sad eyes. "We can't win" was all he said. It seemed the pact he made with the voice came at a price. Sora's greatest weapon, his hope. Seeing a chance, Xehanort swooped in. He convinced Sora that if he can't win, he should switch sides. Something Sora did, surprising everyone. With that, the New Order -and Sora- disappeared. Riku and Mickey couldn't believe it. Could Sora really have joined the other side? And what happened to Roxas? After a few days at Disney Castle, Roxas woke up. He said that something made its home in Sora's heart and, by some strange effect, it kicked Roxas out. Still confused as to what was going on, Riku decided he would save Sora. Roxas and Mickey both agreed. Mickey left the care of the castle with Donald and Goofy, who were heartbroken with the news of what happened and left with the other two Keybearers to Yen Sid, seeking help. Yen Sid revealed that Sora made a "Pact." Pacts are special rituals, an ancient magic from long ago, between two beings. One being offers its power to another for a price. The result is a symbiotic relationship between the two and a special marking somewhere on the body. Yen Sid wondered if Xehanort's new power was a result of a Pact as well. With two Pacts on their side, The New Order could not be defeated by Mickey, Riku, and Roxas. He revealed that they would have to form pacts and thus the three left to go find partners. If you've read all this, put "Nomura ****ed my mind" in your first post and pat yourself on the back. The New Order The New Order is the name of Xehanort's new team. It currently consists of him, Terra (albeit as an unwilling captive), Sora, Sora's unknown Pact Partner, and revived Organization XIII members. The members are revived as Nobodies and (if you choose Axel, Larxene, or Marluxia) are bound to Xehanort and cannot betray him directly. Because of the ritual he used, the members are now stronger than ever. Some may even have a new power or a Pact Partner. Because the ritual was interrupted by King Mickey, the revived Organization members were scattered about the universe. They were all bound to Xehanort's will and found their way to him, one way or the other. It wasn't long after the New Order's formation, though, that Xehanort started to recruit fresh members. Accepted New Order: Spoiler: Xigbar Username: Top-Tier Roxas Character: Xigbar Light/Dark: Dark Weapon: Sharpshooter Arrowguns Element: Space Pact Partner: None. Backstory: Nothing truly new has happened to Xigbar. Fall at the hands of Sora. Next thing he knows, he's being revived by tall-dark-and-spooky. Beats fading into nothing, I guess. Pact Power: control over darkness, stronger magic, teleportation, and a dark shield shaped like wings Backstory: Axel had been sitting in darkness ever since sacrificing his life to protect Sora and his friends. Sitting there all that time, a woman started to follow him. Her dark eyes and smile would've enchanted him if he had a heart. Brushing her off several times, he finally gave in and spent his dark days with her. After the ritual and being brought back, he found her still attatched to him. She promised that with her power, Axel would be stronger and could find his friend again. After the Pact had been made, Axel found himself willing to be thrown into more dangerous battles without concern for his own safety. Other (Other skills or anything you want to share): "Nomura ****ed my mind" makes me laugh and KH 358/2 Days is my favorite of the series. (if anything needs improvement please tell me, thnx) Pacts Pacts are an ancient magic. Any two beings can make a Pact, though those who try usually go for someone with more power. The exchange of power comes at a price. A price that is unknown until the Pact is official. The price can be anything, from something physical (an arm) to a sense (losing your sight, or even your voice) to something mental (Hope.) After the Pact is made, some kind of mark is left on the person's body, corresponding to the price paid. Xehanort's is unseen, hidden beneath his clothes. For Sora, a Keyhole over his heart, hidden beneath his clothes. The Pact Partner is bound to the other. If one dies before the Pact is broken, so does the other. Pact Partners live outside of each other's body. However, Sora's Pact Partner seems to be hiding in his heart, and Xehanort twisted his pact to seal Terra in the gauntlet he wears. PACT PARTNERS CAN BE ANYTHING (within reason). If you want to make a heartless or a Nobody or an Unversed your Pact Partner, go for it. If you want a dragon or a golem or whatever, go for that, too. If you've read this, put your favorite KH game in your post. Or just a random one, it doesn't matter. Rules No powerplaying, no godmodding, blah blah blah. Keep romance PG. I don't mind profanity. Feel free to use it. FOLLOW EVERY RULE, INCLUDING KHV's PRESET RULES. No killing characters without permission. This is an extended RP. Long posts, people. You can choose from any existing Kingdom Hearts characters or make an OC. Pact Partners can be pretty much anything. Yes, I took the idea of Pact Partners from Darkengard, a game I've never played. Pact Partners come at a price, so make sure you use that. No Disney characters, aside from Mickey, is preferred but if you really want one, take it. If you want a New Order member, feel free to grab him. Or her, for Larxene. ANYONE can have a pact partner. Good guy or New Order member, but not everyone needs one. I am definitely sure that there are some plot holes in here, or even things that don't make sense with Kingdom Hearts, but you know what, ignore it. Roxas and Mickey must have Pact Partners if you pick them. If you want Ven, Aqua, Xion, Namine, or even Master Eraqus, you have to talk to LilBueno/Carter Hall first so he can tell you how to include them. Vanitas is OFF-LIMITS. He's pretty much dead. Pact Partner: A powerful, nameless man. Pact Price: His homeworld's people. Pact Mark: a tattoo on the base of his neck exactly like the zipper emblem on his coat, with a pair of clock hands, pointing to what would be 8:05. Pact Power: The ability to manifest and wield Ethereal Blades. Heightened magic; -Greater control over Time magic, -Full-body clone manifestation -Manifestation of Magic sentries. History: Discord was born to a different world, not long ago. His homeworld consisted of prominent wielders of Magic. Young Entropy was an aspiring scholar at the time when an unknown visitor had came to his realm. The main claimed he could help Discord, make him the most powerful mage his world had ever seen. The child had unwittingly agreed, and left his world with the man. After years of training, they returned to Discord's home, only to find it deserted. As if everyone had just vanished. Of course, that was exactly what had happened, all at the hand of his new teacher. To this day, more than a decade later, Discord doesn't know the price of his pact.
Because, let's face it, we all want one. To stay Canon, it would have to be based during the Keyblade War, and have little to no mention of current Kingdom Hearts characters. The game would be heavily PvP, or, Player vs. Player, based, and there would be the two obvious factions, Light, and Dark. All characters would start out as Level 1 Keyblade Apprentices, then, based on how you put your stats and what abilities/commands you pick, you would get your Class and role in combat. Light and Dark would have different titles for the same classes, and exclusive moves to each side, and exclusive moves to each class. Weaponry would be your keyblade, which would evolve with passing experiences, or simply stay the same and get stronger as you leveled. Armor would be earned, melded, or dropped, depending on its class and strength. For example, high level armor for Dark Knights would be the same dark armor that Vanitas and Riku wore, having to be earned from a certain mission. More ideas to come, but let me know your opinions. So, I was random paging through the KH wiki when this new page came up, http://kingdomhearts.wikia.com/wiki/No_Heart Looks very familiar right? Discuss. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- As I was saying in here, I figured Xemnas could wield a keyblade, but chose not to. This, and his page in the KH wiki practically confirm that this is his version of Keyblade Armor.
I'm very surprised that Final Mix didn't include another version of Xemnas, wielding his keyblade. Spoiler Xemnas's origins as Terra and Master Xehanort indicate that he may have been capable of wielding a Keyblade, but just preferred not to, as an interview with Nomura stated that "It's possible that {Xemnas} intentionally wasn't using {a Keyblade}" It would have been pretty cool, but then again, as I've seen people say, -KH I; Keyblade can only be used by the chosen one. -KH II; Five people with Keyblades. -KH BbS; Keyblade school. Keyblades everywhere. I think it really lost its exclusivity. But I'm rambling. What are your thoughts on Xemnas with a Keyblade? In all honesty, if he was a hard match for Riku and Sora with his ethereal blades, then he would have surely one with it.

{Quest for Reason} | Massive Crossover Introduction {T}here once was a man named... Well, what was his name...? Oh, right, he threw it away. This man was once a young being, an Archon. Children of the Gods, so legend had foretold. These were your average person, although, they developed a special.. Ability. Each Archon gained a gift growing up, and were hated and persecuted by the people whom never developed anything. Finally, only a few of these Archon were left. This is where he comes in. The boy, birthed as Discord Amedeus Entropy was one of the few Archon whom could pass as a regular, plain human. Growing up undetected, he went into politics, abandoning his birth name, as well as his people. On paper, he was known as Holy Sinclaire Telos, or just Holy, finding pleasure in the new title. Holy lead the political witch-hunt for the Archon, dealing with them in private. Making fine use of his Archonic Ability; the gift to steal other powers through physical contact with their corpse. The second-to-last Archon had only made Holy's lust for power worse; The ability to manipulate space and time. A tragic ability for him of all people to have. It was what he was searching for, after he read through the grand library. Scriptures, biographies from ancient Archon, tellingntales of other worlds. With this kind of power, Discord could go to those worlds. Or bring them all together. A mighty cataclysm shook the universe, carving bits and pieces out of every world and slamming them together, like puzzle pieces all from different sets. Roxas The Key of Destiny Dark streets welcomed the boy as always. The narrow corridors and sketchy places in the Dark City were starting to grow familiar to him. The blonde had just made it to the outer edges of the city, further away from the Castle that never was. Puzzled blue eyes widened and narrowed, staring down what was once an alleyway. The dark, black buildings suddenly ended, and in place of another building was an open street, leading out into a city of grey-esque buildings. There were even taller skyscrapers than the one he had just seen beyond that. What exactly was happening? Then, from the shadow-drenched floors of the Dark City, NeoShadows rose, seemingly from nowhere. Their beady yellow eyes like floating lights in the darkness. Roxas swiftly summoned his weapons in a flash of light, slicing the powerful blades through the black creatures like butter. Roxas made short work of the once-mighty NeoShadows. The blonde caught Oblivion after it ricocheted off a building and through the last Heartless, dispelling the keys seconds afterwards. "That's...." the Nobody couldn't finish. He couldn't find the right word for it. Odd hadn't even come close to classifying it. The rain had completely stopped. Like someone had cut straight through the clouds above. Roxas removed his hood as he crossed the threshold into the strange new section of the World that Never Was, or so that was what he thought it was. Kingdom Hearts | Crushed Butterflies.{Open!} One of the most basic and well-known theories on time travel, suggesting that going back in time and doing so little as crushing a butterfly could change the events that were arranged to happen, tossing destiny into the wind and leaving the world with a chaotic outcome. So, we already know how this story ends, Ventus defeats Vanitas, Xehanort controls Terra's body, Sora destroys Xehnort's Heartless, and later kills his Nobody. But, what if this wasn't how it had to end? What if we could derail this outcome, or ensure that it stay on course? I invite you to take a journey with me, and crush some butterflies. __________________________________________________________________ Rules and Guidelines. {I} | Time Period This roleplay is going to be taking place during the game, Birth by Sleep, that being said, I will not be accepting a Sora, Riku, Kairi, etc. etc. However, I will be accepting the Whole Beings of the Organization members(, if you can make a decent name for them). I will also be accepting Custom Characters, say, more apprentices for Masters Eraqus and Xehanort, as well as people to play the Masters themselves. Terra, Aqua and Ven are open for the taking, as I myself will be playing Vanitas. {II} | Characters If you would like to play a character, send me a private message or a message on my page letting me know, I would rather not have the OoC cluttering up the roleplay. I will keep a list on the front page of who is available and how many more characters I'll be taking. Also, characters are to be played as themselves, with their personalities, abilities and sexualities in-tact. {Character Priority}: In order to keep a proper balance in this, it is paramount information that All characters are equal, your Original Character is no stronger than any others, however, Main Characters may take priority in a battle. This is to ensure that everyone has their share of fun, and that the plot I have in-store is not to be taken over, in accordance to Rule IV. {III} | Posting As it says in the extended roleplay rules, posts are to be ten-liners. I won't crack down super-hard on this rule, but you have been warned. Literacy and proper grammar are huge pluses as well. Most important though, is making a post that someone can actually respond to. I don't want you to drudge through making a ten+ line post of just what your character is thinking or just having your character sit there. Do something, be active. It would help lessen a bit of the confusion in a multiple-world roleplay. {IV} | Behavior Behavior of both the character, and the RPer, need to be regulated. Characters need to keep things at a PG13 level, be it Violence, language or... romantic activities. Violence and romance of every kind are heavily encouraged in this roleplay, but please, be reasonable with it. I don't want you to describe to me how you've lost your arm and the remnant stub is leaving a bloody mess everywhere. Nor do I need your characters' sex in here. About the RPer's now, Do not try to shape the entire story for yourself, this is a team effort. Don't ignore other players, no flaming, trolling, spamming, god-modding (God-modding pertains to power playing, ever-dodging, never-tiring, writing your character out of a situation that seemed impossible), and auto-hitting (making contact with another character without the Roleplayer allowing it.). {Shotlocks:} If you've played BbS, and maybe even if you haven't, you know that Shotlocks are a powerful spell that your character can cast, maybe even the most powerful spell in their arsenal. Due to gameplay mechanics in BbS, after locking on to a character, you can activate this powerful spell. A Shotlock, also sometimes overwhelmingly powerful, can never miss it's target. That being said, if someone uses their Shotlock on you, you cannot evade it, and have to endure the attack. This is the only time I will allow any form of auto-hitting, but know that You cannot use your shotlock within five posts of using it. {V} | Rules Rules are subject to change, and will probably change constantly. This roleplay will rely heavily on the theory of the Butterfly Effect: Tiny changes in a timeline could lead to colossal changes in the end result. Your character is crushing a butterfly, so to speak, simply by being alive. Just by having your character in the roleplay, you'll be making minor changes to the story of Birth by Sleep. Your characters' choices and actions result in even more heavy changes. What will you fight for? Do you want to destroy Vanitas before he even makes the X-Blade? Would you help Xehanort plunge the worlds into Darkness? The choice is yours, but know this; every step you make toward your answer is another crushed butterfly, every choice has its consequences. Helpful hints with Roleplay Mechanics; Shotlocks and D-Links. As you read earlier, I will be incorporating Shotlocks into this roleplay. With a shotlock, you will be able to deal out massive amounts of damage to many opponents. You can choose your appropriate Shotlocks from the list of in-game shotlocks, as well as making your own and sending it to me in a private message. The same holds true for D-links. Create a Dimensional Link for your character, this will be Eight commands, followed by a passive ability and a Finisher. The list of commands and what the finisher does will be based on your character's own fighting style. You can only activate a D-Link with a character if they are not nearby, and you can only gain access to another character's D-Link after your character creates a friendship with them, or has a serious fight or struggle with them. This was too much for the young Vanitas right now. A minor headache accompanied the odd feeling his dreams gave him. The ebony-haired youth finished his shower, feeling only slightly refreshed. His yellow irises flickered with angst in the light of the bathroom. Vanitas held out his arms, a rift of swirling darkness opening beneath him, its curious tendrils gripping his body, covering him almost instantaneously. The darkness weaved and weaved upon itself until the boy's usual apparel was created. A smug smirk overcame the boy's composure as his headgear solidified. Now what to do? Xehanort was out... Preparing for the events to come. Making an appearance with Master Eraqus, discussing the event of tomarrow. The Keyblade Master's Exam, the starting point of their plans. Vanitas supposed he could just roam around this world until he was needed. The masked youth ended up at the Land of Departure's Mountain Path, stopping to take in the view. He wasn't going to have to stay here much longer, this, he was glad of. Being that close to... him without being able to attack him was such torture. I practice Kendo, and I'll eventually be getting a mastery. I do a little Fencing as well, but I'm not nearly as fond of it. I love a game with a good plot, SMT:Persona 3 taking it's place as my favourite, with the Kingdom Hearts series taking a nice Second. I also love to write, and plan on writing a novel, or doing the storyboarding for video games, but for now I write and participate in avid Roleplaying. I hope I'm welcome here. D:
