1. Julius 2. Ansem 2 3. Spellican 4. Anti Dark Coat 5. Xemnas The only ones on that list that were actually challenging were Julius and Ansem 2. To dodge the black orbs on Ansem 2 I equipped Leaf Bracer and just used various cure spells.
I remember seeing the cards on amazon ~2 years ago, but I never ordered any. I never actually saw it in any stores, even TCG specialty stores.
You are only able to carry over spirits. I feel you are somewhat underestimating just how useful this is. All but 3 keychains are easily obtained throughout the regular course of the game and starting with many rarer spirits makes it easy to get certain abilities and commands early.
I just cleared the game on proud mode and found out I can carry over spirits into a new game on critical. Just thought I'd let you all know about this handy feature(yes this thread is pretty worthless).
I was able to glide to a solid area within the map and get out of the loop. If I didn't have glide equipped I would have been screwed.
I was actually planning a LV1 Proud run of the game and thought about how terrible this boss will be :D
I would say no. I feel that being a master is about more than just physical strength. Terra was easily tricked by Xehanort and let darkness tempt his heart.
Yeah, I went into the world with both characters at ~25, needless to say I had quite a bit of trouble.

As others have stated, the game does a very good job of recapping, though I would make sure you are very familiar with the command deck system. I have been screwed over countless times because I can't move through my deck quick enough (it seemed easier on BBS).
