My other thread didn't take off like I hoped, so here we go new slate. On khv we have some staff members doing nothing to help the site, or in some cases actually hurting it. Only the weak links are in this thread. Remember: Deleting posts is not sufficient for modding this site anymore. We, your userbase, need you to do more. I will not repeat this for everyone in here, though it certainly applies to everyone in here. @Fearless literally what have you done for khv? The last thing I recall that you did was yell at other staff members who were trying to help you solve a problem. @Karuta Other than helping to buy the site, what have you done for khv? Thanks for that, but I haven't seen you do anything at all. It's a little rude to buy a site and then dump it on the other admins and staff to maintain, and then not come back to fix the problem when some of them don't do their jobs. I thought this wasn't going to be a problem anymore. @Stardust Same as the two above you, but worse. I can't even recall the last time I saw you post, and your activity is so old it's not even on your profile. I don't know what happened in the past to cement your spot on the staff team for so long, but it's irresponsible and shameful to stay on the team while completely disappearing from the community. If you even remember it. Step down, please. @Krowley and @Explode , I don't really know what you guys do either. Explode's new tag is Media Manager so I assume he's up to something, but Krowley seems in and out but overall I gotta say I'm not impressed. I'm not going to tag libre because he's not around, and I understand why. i wish he would come around and chill, but i get that he does behind the scenes stuff so I'm not going to call him out. But all you guys? I'm definitely calling you out. There are other problems with other staff I plan to tackle, but I want to get this worst problem out of the way first.

I dont even know how to use the creative one, and unless youre in the art section it's basically the same thing as a like. And even then Like is sufficient, so the other positive ones dont carry any weight for the majority of the site 2. the rep value/green bar system was infinitely more effective for giving a sense of where i stood in whatever community. because it was reputation. unlike likes, etc. which are just a collection of ever increasing of numbers, it didnt leave much to imagination when you got personalized responses and when it was going towards a single value that counted everything. Amaury rated my post "rude" one time but I had no idea what ticked him off and it didnt count against my likes so it affected my khv points basically not at all. 4. acquiring more rep was fun and may help give incentive for activity

this bot is ****ing dumb. First of all, it started doing this thing recently where it deletes any posts that have more than like 10 repeats of a single character. But it still shows the message it deleted. lol. I get how this could come in handy in some situations, but honestly, we don't need it. Not once that this function has been used in the chat has it been one where it was an actual offense. Like this one time I died to a boss in Bloodborne and said "fffffffffffffffffff" it deleted it. Who's that harming? I see how this type of bot would be useful in a much more active chat that's harder to moderate but considering how small we are, how much staff we have, and how most active members are pretty mature, it seems like if there is a legit spam issue one of y'all is bound to catch it. And if you're not and someone is spamming the place, you're probably going to be notified. Also Dyno deletes posts that have too many emojis. Same as before. See how this could be beneficial to a very active place, but very active khv is not. Basically what's up is that the chat's not happy with it.
K so Haya and I have been feelin the yugioh hype lately and have been blowing up the Discord chat with our ygo ramblings. So of course we are now proposing a ygo tournament to y'all khv peeps. Let us know if you want to participate and when (if) we have enough people we'll get going. We need at least 8 players, but will cap it at 16 if enough people are interested. Each game will be a 2 out of 3 match held on devpro and will use the April 2016 banlist, the most recent banlist on devpro. In order to avoid time-zone problems we're only going to have one round per day, with the final two rounds being on the same day. This means that if 8 people are playing and we start on Sunday, the last day will be Monday, and if 16 people are playing the last day will be Tuesday. We're going to need each match to have at least one spectator to validate the game. Reason being that devpro will glitch out occasionally. Rare, but it happens. So to hopefully avoid any problems, announce your game in the Discord chat before playing and make sure at least one person is there to spectate. Also while playing keep your chat on Discord rather than using the devpro chat. It's up to you and the other person to decide when your game will be, as long as it happens on the appropriate day. Just to make sure we're all on the same page, the only card restrictions we'll be using are in the banlist above. Other than that, anything goes. one piece film z came out at the end of 2012 and the next film, gold, is set to come out in july. man of steel came out mid 2013 and its sequel is already in stores, and by the time the killing joke movie is in stores this month there will have been 11 dc animated movies since 5/13. since 12/12 we've had 7 marvel movies and 8 seasons of television, and by the end of next year those numbers will be, as of right now, 11 and 10. i think its time to chill the heck out before we burn the heck out.
