    Nicolas Cage. His acting sucked in everything but Ghost Rider. National Treasure was alright, but it still could have been a lot better would they have chosen a better actor. He should definitely have NOT gotten a role in The Sorcerer's Apprentice.

    There were only three songs of theirs that really stood out to me: Fat Lip, Hell Song, and In Too Deep. One of my life goals is still to learn to play the guitar and play it while a platform lifts me up from the water. Also need to work out how to get an electrical guitar that can be played underwater, but that's a small detail.

    I woke up at 8am the day it came out just to find a signed copy. Silver scribble. Good book. My favorite quote:
    I'm in love with you, and I know that love is just a shout into the void, and that oblivion is inevitable, and that we're all doomed and that there will come a day when all our labor has been returned to dust, and I know the sun will swallow the only earth we'll ever have, and I'm in love with you."

    A holiday that only focuses on eating tons of food and drinking. It's the American way.

    FoxNews is corrupt as they are now. That makes them fair game to anyone trying to bring them down. Happy huntings, Anon.

    Anon would not take down Facebook. They have nothing to gain from taking down a social site. Most of them are honestly good people trying to make a difference in the world. The only problem with the way that they do things is how they are doing it. While normal people go out to soup kitchens and help the homeless, Anon workers strive day and night to improve themselves and bring down the corrupted. They burn hours improving their programming abilities and thinking of ways to decrease the amount of suck in this world, only to have people hate them and talk crap about them. So what if the way they are working is "mean"? If someone gets in their way, they better be confident in Java, Perl, and every other programming language you can imagine. They started off in a loosely structured site and developed to the force that they are. What's anyone else doing to help the world? This planet is corrupt. Every day it gets a little darker and I appreciate any bit of light that someone tries to bring to it.

    They are Anonymous. They do not forgive. They do not forget. They are legion.

    Also, the only reason they managed to pull of a DDOS attack so well was because they were able to improve on it well beyond what any other hacking group could. They sent a beta hacking program to people who wanted to play around with it and they got great data from it. "Imma firin' my laser" became on icon to the ionic cannon users and it also because a great starting point to those who would later grow up to indulge themselves in computers. Long live Anon.

    centaur= (.5 human) + (.5 horse)
    if...
    me = (.5 human) + (.5 centaur)
    me = (.5 human) + ((.25 human) + (.25 horse))
    me = (.75 human) + (.25 horse)

    With clothing, you can't see what part of me is horse. :(

    What's makes someone a hero? What about a villain? If someone robs a bank to help other people, are they good or bad? If a hero protects a city from a bomb, but then kills the bomber to get rid of the threat permanently, he is still a hero? My roommate and I were discussing ethics and apparently, I have odd views of what is wrong or right.

    The way I see it, if someone breaks a rule, they are bad. I don't care why they did it. If a hero kills a villain to get rid of the threat permanently, that is just someone being efficient.

    In short, what makes someone good or bad and at what point does someone just the dark side?

    Recently, a lot of things have just seemed bland to me. Things that I used to enjoy can't seem to excite me as much as they used to. This is my second year in college (computer engineering major) and deeply dislike it. The programming class and the robotics team are fun, but everything else seems like it was specifically designed to increase displeasure.
    The classes are boring. People here are snobby. I rarely talk to anyone outside of my roommates.

    I thought college would be more... college-y. I thought there would have been more partying. Everyone built this place up as something fun, but all I've seen is constantly arrogant people and classes are either treat you like you are five years old or think you can process dozens of formula per month.

    Here is the real issue:

    How can I get out of the current bubble that I am in? I want to experience more. I want to know that I left college as a better person and not just with a stupid little paper that took five years and thousands of dollars to get. Every morning I wake up and think that I could be doing something better with my life. Something that makes me happy to be learning and pushes me just well enough. I used to love learning until I came to this place. My being here seems like a mistake, but there is the constant thought of needing a degree to live well that keeps me clinging on to my classes.

    I don't want to regret not living when I get older. How do I know that this place (more specifically, this college) is what is best for me? There could be a Great Perhaps out there and I would never know being stuck in my current status.
