    I think its Ven because the Ven we know and see in trailers is not the real Ven [THIS IS ONLY AN OPINION/SUGGESTION]

    Edit: Maybe part of my later theories, but I won't write one about this yet.

    I built this on from my "unbirth" theory.

    I reckon they are keyblades, but more of a weapon rather than an actual keyblade that can unlock hearts and doors. A keyblade have two seperate components: Blade and Chain.

    From my "unbirth" theory, keybladers are train spiritually to feel their hearts in order to evoke the power of a keyblade. The heart is a mechanism that holds our memories, thus, we can assume that the power of a keyblade originate from memories. However, there must be some form of device to pass our memories onto the keyblade.

    Therefore, key"chains" becomes a device that connects/chains our heart with the keyblade and which it acts as a passage for our memories to transport into a keyblade. From this definintion, we can conclude a keyblade is not only a weapon, but it is a physical entity that depicts the heart and memories of a being hence we realise the keyblade changes its appearance as a new keychain is attached to it. Therefore, VAT requires that yellow armor thing on their shoulder to transport their memories and summon the keyblade hence it looks like it is digitally summoned.

    Yes, Roxas did use a keyblade on Day 1 before entering the stations on Day 2 or 3, however, Roxas was in the simulated Twilight town and the way Roxas summon (well I don't even think he summon it) his keyblade almost seems like its digitally manipulated or created by Diz. You can watch that cutscene again, its different to how a normal keyblade gets summon by its wielder

    I don't think I can come up with a theory to answer this question which is relevent to the game.

    I will use an Asian cultural prespective to answer this (it has nothing to do with the game). The opposite of a human being born is the birth of a spirit/ghost. Spirits search for opportunities to reborn again as a human. The body of a human is only a mere shell that protects our spirit, thus spirits are insearch of bodies.

    Its really hard to explain with the lack of evidence and facts so far since it was only recently announced that these enemies are called "unbirth" and we have no information on what they are, how they are created and etc...

    However, assuming unbirths are created when keybladers are traped in their stations. We can say that unbirths are monsters with a body and heart, searching for a soul.

    With this theory, I can kind of explain the plot of BBS and the relationship between Ven, Terra and Master Xehanort, but I will have to wait till more info gets release since there are still alot of missing pieces. I mean if Square reveals that "unbirth" are created by a totally different way, then this theory will be completely wrong, then I will have to think of other theories again.

    Well these are keybladers/humans with a soul/spirit. Its like heartless, originally they are humans, but once they lose their hearts, they transform into monsters that looks nothing like a human and there are more than one type of heartless. I just apply a similar concept to these "unbirths"

    Nah, I'm sry I never read your theory, I got all these ideas from the KH2 secret ending, KH2 FM+ secret ending, KH2 ending, KH1 opening, KH2 opening, Roxas and Sora's tutorial gameplay and recent interviews and magazine scans

    Yeah, just another point I want to make in my theory. In KH2 secret ending, Ansem's report, mention that a keyblade its a key that open doors. Thus, this key not only open the doors to other worlds, but also opens the door of light or door of darkness in our heart (e.g. Riku/Ansem in KH1)

    I try write a bit more on it later this week

    In order to understand "unbirth", we must first evaluate the meaning of "birth"

    Birth is the creation of a new being, thus, unbirth will be the reverse of birth, suggesting that something cannot be born. Such proposition leads back to the title of this plot "Birth by sleep".The title "Birth by sleep" illustrates that "something" is born via sleep. When we sleep, we tend to dream and most dreams are related to memories. Memories become the catalyst to trigger dreams during a sleep, therefore, the process of birth by sleep must follow this model:

    Birth by Sleep model
    Catalyst= Memories
    Sleep ------------------------> Dream ----------> New being created (Birth)

    Assuming my model is correct, then we can analysis and predict which being is created. We also assume "unbirths" are beings that lacks the fundamental elements of being a complete/human form, thus, the three elements are heart, soul/spirit and body. Heartless and nobodies does not exist during the BBS period. Heartless lack of hearts, nobodies lack of bodies. Therefore, unbirths must be lack of soul/spirit. Since I establish what this new type of enemy is lack of, I will proceed to their production method.

    Recall that Xigbar mention that there were many keybladers in the past but they all suddenly disappear many years ago. Furthermore, the keyblade graveyard suggest that there were many keybladers during the BBS period. Since BBS's main theme is about the origins of keyblade and the keyblade wielders, I assume that there is a relationship between both the unbirths and the keybladers. In BBS, normal people are taught by keyblade masters to become a keyblader through spiritual rather than physical training. Therefore, one must have a strong spiritual sense and heart to obtain the power of the keyblade.

    We are not told how humans manage to obtain the keyblade, it was assume that the keyblade chooses the rightful owner. However, when we look back at Sora and Roxas in KH and KH2, they were only able to use the keyblade by going through the station of calling and station of awakening (e.g. Sora's tutorial mode in KH1, and Roxas's tutorial mode in KH2. I realise there is actually 3 stations in each tutorial, but I don't actually know the station's name before the station of calling, thus, I will call it the station of sleep). By sleeping, both Roxas and Sora were able to enter the station of calling and station of awakening. Each station has a door which leads to the next station. Thus, the procedure of awakening the power of the keyblade should be as follow:

    Catalyst = Memories
    Sleep---------> Dream (Station of sleep ---------> Station of calling ---------> Station of awakening) ----> New being born

    In each station, we see platforms. In Sora's case, we saw snow-white and the other princesses, but in Roxas's case we saw Sora, Riku, Kairi, Donald and etc... Therefore, each person's station of sleep, calling and awakening is different from each other. Recall that nobodies don't have a heart, so Roxas enter these stations through Sora's memories. Thus, we can assume that memories are like data from a heart which can be extracted to become a vessel to take one into the stations. Furthermore, the phrases in KH2 further emphasis that memories are related to dreams:

    "A scattered dream that's like a far-off memory, a far-off memory that's like a scattered dream"

    Since heart is the essential element to wield the keyblade, and memories are like data in our heart. Thus, heart, keyblade, memories and dream are all interrelated. Therefore, each platform represents part of one's memories hence the stations are actually inside one's heart. In addition, in KH2's ending, Sora asked Riku if he knows where the door of light is and then Riku points at Sora's heart. This symbolises the door between each stations inside our heart. Now we will build this into our model

    Catalyst = Memories
    Sleep -------> Enters the heart -----> Extract Memories and process them -------> Dream (Station of sleep, calling and awakening -------> New being born (keyblader)

    Finally, how does one enter its own heart? First, from the recent scan translation I assume that the reason why keyblade masters taught its keyblade students in a spiritual way rather than a physical way, because one needs to feel the power insider one's heart before obtaining the power of the keyblade. I got this idea when Terra said:

    "(I can feel the pure light...)
    (After all, does this girl have a heart of pure light?)"

    We know we have to sleep in order to obtain the power of the keybladem but the problem is, how do we enter our heart. Lets consider the three fundamental components that make up a human: Heart, Body and Soul/Spirit. When we sleep, our body stays in reality obviously. Our destination is our heart. Therefore, we must use our spirit/soul to enter our heart. Thus, unbirth must have been the byproduct of not been able to reborn as a keyblader. We can assume that the soul/spirit is trapped inside one of the three stations, and whats left is the heart and body.

    Yes, this is it, I can't write anymore and I reckon it will be too hard to read if I write too much. I try my best to explain my theory, hope you enjoy

    I realise its really difficult to connect my theory to the trailers, it just a brand new idea that I came up with since some parts of my last theory doesn't seem to match with the leaked trailer now. I try my best to explain it. Thanks for the reply, provides information on theory holes that I can fix up.

    It does get confusing because what I'm trying to emphasis is that Ven's appearance violated the history of Kingdom Hearts which generates a new type of being. (Quoted from the trailer: "A fate that occurs not by chance")

    From the trailer, I doubt Ven actually gave into darkness, it felt like MX forcefully alter his heart but deceive Terra into believing that Ven submitted into the darkness and is not qualified to wield the Keyblade. Assuming both Terra and MX know that Ven/Roxas/Sora is the chosen keyblader in the future, his submit to the darkness cannot be qualified to wield the keyblade. However, this is just to deceive Terra

    "Those who have submitted to darkness are not qualified to wield the keyblade
    Already, that man is a monster infused with darkness
    Defeat the darkness and correct my mistake!"

    "I don't care about being master. This power
    I use for my friends!"
    I guess you are talking about this part PikaPower. If Ven never appeared, Terra will never thought of saving a "friend". I assume from the magazine scan which depicts Terra with maleficent and the trailer
    "I believed you'd find your way by now--
    Cross the wall between the light and darkness to me
    I'm tired of waiting for you, Terra!"
    His original intention was to give into darkness but Ven's appearance change Terra which also messed up MX's plan to obtain Terra.

    I go on to this later

    Its been a long time since I posted on kh-vid. Some old members might have read my other theories. After watching the new leaked trailer, I came up with a new theory about BBS's plot. Hope you guys enjoy

    Introduction
    My theory is based on the secret trailer of kh2fm+ and kh2, the new leaked trailer and magazine scans. I will discuss about the connections between Sora, Roxas, Ven, Terra and Master Xehanort and a timeline plot. Furthermore, I will discuss about Ven's, Aqua's and Terra's keyblades briefly. I will begin with the timeline plot
    I will use shorthand very often in this theory so I put a list of them up in the appendix part, but they are very commonly use on this forum.
    VAT= Ven, Aqua, Terra
    SRK= Sora, Riku, Kairi
    MX= Master Xehanort
    DS= Dark Soldier
    BBS= Birth by sleep
    COM= Chain of Memories
    SDG = Sora, Donald, Goofy
    KH = Kingdom Hearts

    Timeline plot
    Why do I call this a timeline plot? This idea came from the ending of kh2 and the secret trailer of kh2fm+. I assume everyone have seen these two short intriguing movies so I don't have to explain them.

    Official timeline

    KH:BBS----> KH1----> KH:COM---> (KH:358/2 or KH:coded)-----> KH2-----> ?

    My assumption on timeline

    Real KH:BBS------> KH1------> KH:COM------> (KH:358/2 or KH:coded)-----> KH2------> Altered KH:BBS------> KH3

    Don't worry if you don't understand the timeline above, I'm about to explain it and my theory begins here. Originally, as we know the timeline of Kingdom hearts is like the diagram of the official timeline: KH:BBS leads to KH1 then KH:COM and etc...

    My theory on the plot begins here. Heartless cannot be completely destory as far as we realise by far in the series. No matter how many heartless SDG kills and the amount of keyholes they seal, heartless are there. As officially confirm in the past when KH:BBS was first announced, the new enemy is not heartless and heartless and nobodies never exist during that time. The origin of heartless, according to the KH series so far, began from Ansem's apprentices heart experiment on Xehanort.

    Xehanort's Memory
    Therefore, I predict that Mickey's letter is actually the key to unlock the plot of KH:BBS. Although there are no official confirms on the content of Mickey's letter, however, I believe Mickey inform SRK that he discovered a way to destory the heartless completely. In order to destroy heartless, the origin (Xehanort) must be destory. It could only be achieved through one method, which is to travel back to KH:BBS and prevent the real Master Xehanort to achieve his goal by fusing with Terra to create the Xehanort in the future.

    Xehanort's memory is the key to travel back to KH:BBS. I do have a theory on how they obtain Xehanort's memory but it is not supported by anything so I will not post it. The only assumption I have about the location of Xehanort's memory is inside "The Room of Sleep" which creates an artifical data world of BBS that provides a portal to the real BBS world. However, this cannot be proved from any evidence so far. This idea is also derived from the idea of the process of entering "The World That Never Was" in KH2.

    http://hk.youtube.com/watch?v=x0yxDmsjWAc&feature=related
    (I put this under the appendix list too along with other videos)

    Ven = Roxas= Sora
    Mickey cannot go back to the past, or else there will be two Mickey. Sora is chosen for this mission. Sora is put into sleep in "The Room of Sleep" and his heart is extracted and datalised. Since Sora's body is put into sleep the datalised heart takes the form of Roxas and is transfer to the memory of Xehanort which is the artifical world of BBS. This artifical world becomes a medium or portal that leads Roxas to the the real world of BBS. "Birth by sleep" is explained in this situation. Therefore, Ven was not suppose to appear in the original history of Kingdom Hearts. "Birth by sleep" can also be interpret as because of Sora's attempt to alter history, something was born in BBS which weren't suppose to happen. However, something went utterly wrong which cause Roxas/Sora/Ven to lose his memories

    You might wonder where I got this idea from, well remember from the new leaked trailer where we see Terra and Ven in Destiny Island's watching Riku and Sora. Its not that Terra is picking his successor, but it is actually Ven telling Terra who he really is after he recover his memories

    "We're friends
    Therefore I wanted to ask you something. Erase me"

    Ven tells Terra that he is not real and he realise that one day he will have to kill Terra since Master Xehanort fuses with Terra to create the Xehanort in the future. Therefore, he wants Terra to erase him.

    I guess I will leave it here for now, since I'm going to have dinner (very hungry after my 3hrs exam). More to come guys, but I hope you guys enjoy reading my theory so far and feel free to post any comments.

    A little bit more on my previous theory, posting alot more tomorrow

    What is Ven/Aqua/Terra keyblade Extension
    You might ask since I said Ven is a true keyblader then how come he can't wield a true keyblade?...
    Remember in one of the magazine scan, Master Xehanort ask Ven if he has lost something. What is that "something"? He also mention that "something" will not be lost eternally meaning somehow he will regain it.
    I believed is his memories. This links with the idea that its necessary for both memory and heart combine together to create a keychain.
    So why was Ven's memory erased? He was orginally chosen as a keyblader to bring chaos to the world. His real name is "Vengeance", one who seeks for revenge. Revenge for what the keyblade war has done to the keyblade world...

    Time to sleep, post more tomorrow.

    Of course it will be the same as Limit form's aerial attack, because when Sora turns into limit form he returns to his old self in KH1. Bascially that video is to show Mickey does have a relationship with Ven/Roxas/Sora. And if you look at Riku's attack, it resembles Knight Terra's attack.

    Sorry been sick for quite a while and exams, so won't post much until everything is finished

    What!? Why King Mickey = Keyblade master who trains Ven/Terra/Aqua Extension

    Further evidence show that King Mickey does have a relationship with Roxas. Closely examine the attacks of both King Mickey and Roxas. The way they swing their keyblades and Roxa's Aerial spinning attack is almost the same as Mickey's.

    Thx again

    Could be true, but then like Sora, Mickey could obtain different keyblades through his journey. Furthermore, could the name "star-seeker" be a symbol in the kh2fm secret movie to emblematise that Mickey is seeking for the star/hero or light from darkness because star appears at night and shines.

    Xemnas true identiy and intention (Brief overview of the theory)
    I remember I ask a question on Xemnas intention in kh2fm in my thread before, so I kind of write a very brief theory on why I asked that.
    As we can see Xemnas seems to keep alot of secret from the organisation (e.g. room of sleeping/room of awakening). I believed that Xemnas is Terra's nobody, his true intention to obtain Kingdom Hearts was to revive his 'friends' heart (e.g. Aqua). Theres a lot more on this theory but I will certainly add more to this part after my exam which finishes in early next month.

    What is Ven/Aqua/Terra keyblade (Brief overview of the theory)
    I think Eternal Session asked me this question in another thread, their keyblades are artifical keyblades created from the mechanical arm.
    You might ask since I said Ven is a true keyblader then how come he can't wield a true keyblade?
    Hehe, I clear this up the next time I write, which is properly next Thursday

    Thxs, I think I already mention something about their keyblades in my theory thread. Basically, they can't wield true keyblades so they need to use that mechanical arm to summon an artifical keyblade.

    I don't agree on the failed blades part, but I like how when their master turns into heartless, the keychains crumble and the blades become dead. But really if thats true then how come Sora/Riku's blade didn't go like that...

    Ty ty thanks for the support

    But was it officially mention that King Mickey was on training that time? Now I will kind of explain how I got this theory.

    What!? Why King Mickey = Keyblade master who trains Ven/Terra/Aqua
    1) He can wield a keyblade with keychain
    2) In one of the magazine scan, when Ven was blown away by Xehanort's Apprentice, Mickey suddenly appear to save him. It's like a teacher saving his apprentice.
    3) Check out his new clothes in BBS, the colour is similar to Master Xehanort: the cuttings, patterns and colours (black and white) seems to somehow resemble each other.
    4) Not very logical evidence but Asian Kung fu master wears that kind of outfit.

    Sorry its a bit plain this time, since I only have limited time to write this. After my exams, I will post pics and write a lot more.

    More to come......
