Wasn't he supposed to be in SSB64 anyway? But yeah, Dedede is priceless. We needed more heavyweights anyway. EVIL PENGUIN WITH A HAMMER WINS ALL. As for Dedede being in. I really am starting to believe Sakurai reads the Smashboards. Like, obsessively. Otherwise, how on earth did we get Sonic, Pictochat stage, King Dedede, and Ike? XD He's the silly can't-really-hurt-a-fly kind of comic relief villain; the main villain from Kirby. I believe his royal subjects are Waddledees :3 Anywho, he usually stirs up trouble, but ends up getting in it himself too. He's kind of like, Dr. Drakken from Kim Possible, lol. Krystal from Starfox Adventures in Brawl? http://kotaku.com/gaming/rumor/smash-bros-character-leak-315290.php Also, a Nintendo rep at E for All leaked that Luigi's back. Lol.
Via USB. If you have one, I could show you how to do it.
Someone explain to me what the hell the logic is in creating numerous threads of the same "thing" after they reach a certain number of posts, to AVOID clutter? Anyway, since I have vista I can't use Project64k So I found an alternative and it works. I'll see you guys online. No need, Muffin. There is an alternative for us Vista users :3. I'm looking at you Moodkip. Join me! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=V7NJ5MZwcek Download Mupen64 here: http://www.perfectdarkforever.com/downloads/M64K_079.zip Download a Smash Bros. ROM Go to Options > Settings > Directories > Add (the directory where you're keeping your ROMs on your compouter) Then go to Utilities > Kaillera, right click and Refresh the server list in the Kaillera window, and join them and start a game :D If you want to configure your controller/buttons, you can go to Input Settings. And that's all folks. Not me. I got my PS3 Sixaxis. Works like a charm :3
Huh? What did I do?
The Halo movie was officially canceled a while ago and Kotaku confirmed that the creator behind the Halo CG flix was not going to bring his project to life on the big screen. So no Halo movie anymore :< I'd have to say........................ Yeah no movie games are good other than Goldeneye XD
I'm not surprised. I think MS eventually will try to screw people over by adding a built-in HD-DVD drive and force old adopters to buy one if they want to play the latest Xbox360 games XD 8-9GB just isn't enough lol.
Hmm well we will know soon enough what is cut out and left in. Personally, I don't see how much MORE progress the delay could have done for the team. I'm assuming Smash Bros. was supposed to launch in the Americas first (December 3rd, 2007), so that technically means they'd have to have the game gold and done around middle of November (one month from now) and sent to manufacturing for production. Since Smash Bros. now releases on January 24th, 2008 for the first time around the world, they still only have about 5-6 weeks extra of development time. I wonder what's so important that needs to be done before the game releases, but still can be finished within 5-6 weeks. Perhaps it's an important game mechanic/mode/etc. Perhaps they're just smoothing out glitches and bugs. Who knows? :p Oh and apparently this is the Halberd stage music: http://kirby.classicgaming.gamespy.com/multimedia/sounds/superstar/43_romk1_halfmoon.mp3 Apparently the music in the Halberd stage is a remixed version of the halberd music in Kirby Super Star ....well, in KSS it has 4 themes but the one heard was that one I just linked you to
Then you're nice. XD But like I said, chances are, and not many smashers I know would leave the opportunity to pwn someone who can't do it XD
Well if you know how to L-cancel and Wavedash, chances are, you will do it, no matter who the competitor :3
............omg Marry me. XD By the way, I put together all of the Brawl gameplay videos ever released (I'm pretty sure ALL of them) into one, 45 minute or so, super video. Featuring gameplay from October 10th, and 11th, for example. Download: http://www.sendspace.com/file/0nd6lx I'm putting it on my ipod :3
Muffin hit the nail on the head. That's all I have to say lol. It's no fun to play Mario Kart DS online because of snakers, unless you're a snaker yourself. Don't let this happen to the Smash community. XD
Link + DownB = Bomberman. End of discussion. LOL Well of course it doesn't make you a bad player. But a decent player and a decent player that knows L-cancelling and wavedashing, who has the advantage? XD Well I think buying a game (ESPECIALLY Smash) and not playing it at all is a waste of money. The fact is, the minority of Smash owners (people who bought the game) cannot wavedash/L-Cancel I can't wavedash/L-cancel, and I own and play the game actively lol. I mean I know how I just can't pull it off. He pretty much said it ^ It's basically like if a video game was made with only HD capabilities. Sure the people with HD TVs would benefit and love the game, but the majority of people, who don't have HD TVs, would be at a disadvantage. That might be a bad example but you get the picture XD
Lmao. See I don't understand how some people say Sonic delayed Brawl. People don't delay a game for one character. Sonic is already completed and added in the game, people got to play as him, he's final and done. Don't you think if he were the cause of the delay, Nintendo would have needed more time to work on him? I like the fact that there's stuff we don't know. Oh the joy of game modes!
WTF when was this announced??? http://www.amazon.co.jp/exec/obidos/ASIN/B000VQMR7W/mother0f-22/ref=nosim
Famitsu delivery :p
Muffinman posted this: I still think icons could shrink to make more room. Also, Muffin, Try explaining to me how this will incorporate with people who have fullscreen televisions? The area of the screen is not directly equated to the number of characters in the game. Icons will shrink, and screens will distort. Like in Melee. I still don't think it's right that I'm almost required to snake if I want to play competitively with Mario Kart DS. That's just ******ed. Yet the people on these boards, etc., are itty bitty compared to the total amount of smash players. I'm sure the majority (especially people who don't spend their life lurking the internet) don't know how or haven't even heard of it (I bought the game on launch day and been on the internet everyday, and the first time I heard about wavedashing and L-canceling was about 6 or 7 months ago. Well, the majority of smashers don't participate in tournaments. Exactly, it brings them down to the level where they will win if they're good, not if they mastered a button combination of wavedashing and smash attacks :p at least that's how I feel about it. Thousands and thousands is still less than the millions and millions who bought Smash Bros. games.
You certainly have to practice. And those of us with busy lives can't usually. Technically, it's easier to level the playing field by taking out a technique that the minority of Smash players know, than to leave it in and force the majority of Smash players to learn it. It makes it so everyone has the same advantages and disadvantages, and therefore you win on how tactics, rather than just wavedashing everywhere and l-canceling, and hogging the edge lol. There's no reason that simply because I'm not able to spend my busy time learning these techniques, I won't be able to play online without getting pummeled by spammers of these techniques. This is just my take on it though XD Oh and new Lucas screen:
..................I don't get it. Megaman stay out of my Brawlz. kthx
Coded will make its way onto the internet faster than you can say mansex. Then I'll just download it and add it to my Cell Phone using its microSD card :/
It's hard to learn those techniques :/ plus some people don't have time to spend practicing these things night and day. Taking out wave-dashing and L-cancelling for example, would leave everyone on the same page and level. If you win, it's not because you know these techniques, but rather because you're good at the game and the basic tactics of the game. At least that's my take on it. It's like snaking in Mario Kart to me. It would take all the fun out of online battles, in my opinion. Snaking is completely legit, but I still don't think it's very fair. What are you talking about? Snake and Sonic are unlockables. Sakurai already confirmed third-parties will be unlockables. Also, if the trend continues, the characters on the box of the game will tell us who are defaults and who are unlockables. SSB64: Boxart - Mario, Pikachu, Link, Kirby, Samus, Fox Defaults - Mario, Pikachu, Link, Kirby, Samus, Fox, Yoshi The same trend happened for Melee. So if any estimation is true, the characters on the cover should all be defaults, because they would not want to spoil by revealing secret characters on the boxart. Therefore, Pokemon Trainer, Metaknight, Pit, Peach, Mario, Link, Kirby, Pikachu, Fox, Samus, and Wario are confirmed defaults. PS: This = epic
