That's a horrible reason for a ban. Yeah, she shouldn't have had it on there, since they don't currently allow it for any orientation, but it's not worthy of a ban, even if one's being harassed for it. Those that were bullying should have received the corrective action and the girl should have been told to remove her orientation from her profile to meet Xbox Live terms/requirements/whatever. The fact that they're just banning people for having that on there, when it can be an important part of who someone is, is ridiculous.
Sweet outcome. I'm curious as to what happened to Riku, not just the cute little idea posted on youtube, but I'm also glad that Xaldin got to take his place and managed a win against Xemnas. Cool change, awesome vid, and I have someone to root for now.
To the original poster, self-harm is not done out of cowardice. I speak from experience here. It's not always cutting, either. In my case, it's repeatedly dragging my blunt nails across my arm and is a way of coping with pent-up stress because of the unwillingness to utilize or lack of other options. As someone who still struggles with his own self-injury problem, I'd very much appreciate you not insulting those of us that fight with it. As far as stereotypes go, ignore them. They'll fade and/or change with time. Hell, my own mother called me goth once just because I was collared at the time and like to wear a lot of black. In reality, I'm much closer to being classified along the lines of hardcore, but I don't count myself as a member of any general types such as those that have been mentioned.
(XD Philosophy can be quite nice, thank you. It certainly makes my days more interesting.)
(Aghfudgemonkies. TT Stupid school. Could I reclaim Xaldin?)
(Gah. Finally back on after school killed me. DX) Xaldin was content to simply observe the battle, taking note of the different possibilities for what might happen. He wasn't terribly interesting in battling Saix anyways.
"This isn't worth it..." Xaldin muttered, glaring out the window again. He had to come up with something to do soon, or else there wouldn't be any windows in the van.
Xaldin had managed to ignore the others fairly well for a whlie, focusing instead on the air coming in through his window. With Larxene and Saix going at it again, though, refusing to just shut up, he was finding it rather difficult to block them out. Grimacing, he asked, "Could the two of you keep quiet for five minutes? Just five?"
I'm another person where I tend to let stress build up. It's not intentional and I know it's not good because I've gotten to the point where I felt that I would get sick if I was given much more to handle. But when I get the chance to do something about stress, I listen to music, find someplace where I can just feel the wind, write in my journal, cry, or spend time with God. Failing those, I hit my head on walls.
Arm feeling somewhat better with the ice melted over it, Xaldin replied, "I'm assuming you mean other than the question you just asked. What?"
Nifteh. Could I have Rude in dorm #2?
I suddenly had this image of Xaldin being in colorguard. And it made total sense, too. Fighting is like dancing, his lances are probably about the length of the flags they use, and wind could always come in handy say if he throws too high. *shrugs* Go figure, but it's either he's colorguard or drumline and I'm seriously leaning towards colorguard. SO, I've finally declared what Xal is, even if he doesn't like the idea.
Xaldin took the ice the he had actually gotten and pulled a piece out of the frustrating cup, grateful for his gloves. Waiting for Xemnas' response to Saix, he began running the cube over where he'd smashed his arm through the window.
(Sounds neat. I'm interested, so I might as well try. Character Name: Xaldin Computer Generated Name: Tempest Weapon: Lance Occupation in 'The World': Long Arm Occupation in Real Life: Organization XIII Real Life Weapon: Six lances And I just kinda...picked some of the stuff up there because I wasn't sure about it.)
Xaldin silently wished he had some glass shards left, but he'd already thrown them all. Cursing, he turned to glare out his window.
Taking in their situation, Xaldin grumbled, "Fine, but it's not for you." Giving her a final glare, he took stock of his arm.
Xaldin didn't respond for a moment so that he could keep his temper in check. When he reacted to Larxene's order, he calmly asked, "Why should I? I outrank you."
Xaldin, having ignored most of what was going on around him, snapped, "Just freeze all of them. It would make things go more quickly."
Xaldin nodded at Saix' question, quite appreciating the idea. It would save them a lot of headaches to get rid of her. Now if only he could bandage his arm...
Xaldin let his lance dissipate and relaxed a little. Honestly, it was a relief that she was stopping. His arm was seriously beginning to hurt and he didn't want to tax it too much. "Good."
