The final for Accounting was the chapter 11 test, but on the day we were going to do the online work, the Internet was down for half of the period, so we did some handwritten work.
Because of that, we didn't do the usual thing of being shown a PowerPoint, and then doing the Work Together; instead, we saw all of the PowerPoints at once and then did handwritten work.

    Chapter work goes like this:

    • Work Together
    • On Your Own
    • Application Problem
    • Mastery Problem
    • Study Guide
    • Challenge Problem (Extra Credit)
    • Using Source Documents (Extra Credit)

    Chapter 11 had five sections: 11-1, 11-2, 11-3, 11-4, and 11-5.

Luckily, though, she made all online work extra credit, and I got 357 points of extra credit, which bumped be from 82.3% B- to 89.4% B+, and then I turned in something I couldn't find on the day we turned it in.

She also bumped my grade up for the online work for chapter 10, because, normally, only the challenge problems are extra credit, which I did, but I spent the last minutes before the deadline trying to fix errors and went past the deadline, so it wouldn't save.

My mom, who doesn't usually advocate for me, sent an e-mail to my Accounting teacher, asking if there was a way to be able to increase the due the date or another extra credit assignment, because I'm a hard worker when it comes to school, regardless of whether my grades turn out good or bad.

My only bad grade is Systems of the Earth.

For Senior English, this isn't final, but when I checked on Thursday, the last time he posted, it was 80.5% B-.

I have never known anyone to get an F in more than one class. Bravo, Amaury. Bravo.

Amaury, hand over all your money. You're clearly talented in accounting, you'll make it back quick just you watch. Think of it as a test :P

Wait...a 61 is a D in your state. Lucky! Anything below a 70 is an F in NC. Which leaves a pretty small margin for the other grades. D:

    Dear god...

For us 100-90 is an A
    89-80 is a B
    79-70 is a C
    69-60 is a D
and anything else is an F.

That's the way it was in some places in Nevada. Like our small town had that EXACT grade system because they were all super special smart.

    Got to Las Vegas...

    100-90: A
    89-80: B
    79-70:C
    69-60:D
And anything else below is F

I think it was because of the drop out rates we had. :\

Here in Texas, I think it's the same thing. But since all my classes are Child Development, all I have to do is stay on top of everything and get A's like I did last semester. Although in math... ugh, D. *Facedesk* Not transferable so I have to retake it. D:

Higher standards means smarter children. I approve. Is the work easier to make up for it? I suppose you would not know. Probably not.

I wish other counties and states would raise their standards...

    Where I study it's;

    A - 80%+
    B - 70% - 79%
    C - 60% - 69%

    Anything below a 60% is a fail.

I'm pretty sure that's how it works. Most of my exams tend to be 90%+ but I've had one where I got 65% cause I didn't study and the questions were all messed up. XD

Yeah, we have pretty bad dropout rates here as well.

Still, I have some of the harder classes that a sophomore can have.
Miami, sometimes I want to slap you so hard.

    Oh my, for us it's:

    A* 100-90%
    A 90-80%
    B 80-70%
    C 70-60%
    D 60%-50%
    E Below 50%
U FAIL! Not even a grade.

Well... generally anyway, they tend to vary depending on the course and exam.

I got a U once, it was the proudest day of my life <3

Your schools all have very high expectations of you.

    85-100 is an A
    70-84 is a B
    55-69 is a C
    40-54 is a D
    6-39 is a F
0-5 is a lovely N/G,standing for no grade.

    Goodness me.
To pass I only need 40%.
And even if you get below it does not really matter,as you can mostly retake the test.
