    "It Starts With You
The first 30 Hour Famine ever took place in Calgary, Alberta, 38 years ago. It started with a small group of teenagers that refused to sit back and do nothing about the famine in Ethiopia. Because of their efforts, over 1.5 million youth now take part in the Famine events in countries around the world, including Australia, Japan, Korea, Malaysia, New Zealand, the Netherlands, the UK and the United States."

One of the 30 Hour Famines starts tomorrow. I'm participating in it, as I did last year. It's a great way to raise funds and awareness for poverty all over the world.

A lot of my friends do this, but I never knew what it was for. :v Lately people haven't been donating though.

It won't be that hard to do, honestly, so I'm going to do it. Though if only a smattering of people do it, I don't see how it will change anything.

The thing with the 30 hour famine, is you need to be committed to it and don't back down and give in....I thought about doing it.....

    1) It is so much harder than you think. The first 8 hours seem like nothing, once you hit about 26 hours, you will think you are actually dieing. ._.
    2) If everybody thought that, nothing would be done.

Updated status: FRICKIN HUNGRY. And I have a headache. >< And I don't think I've ever pee'd so often in my life. And before you ask, yes, you needed to know that last part.

I'm kinda glad it's over now, but the sad thing is once you start eating again you almost forget what it was like after awhile. And I gotta say, it doesn't get any easier with experience. XD

I didn't really think I was as hungry as I actually was (gawsh, I love sentence structure). I had to refrain from gorging myself, because my stomach had shrunk and that'd probably be a bad idea. :sweatdrop: I've been eating a lot, but not all at once.
    And I'm still hungry. : D
