The Story starts at the end. The war for Kingdom Hearts is finally during to a dramatic close. The generals of Light keyblades in hand knew the war was lost, and yet they had one last ace up their sleeves. With the darkness at their gate and no way to fight it they sent fragments of light to rebuild the worlds after their impending destruction. That however wasn't enough. The flood of darkness would engulf everything, defences would need to be raised in order to protect the rebuilt worlds. However not enough light remained. A world would need to be sacrificed, its light would be used to create barriers to ward off the encroaching darkness. Warriors from every world were approached seeing who would be willing to sacrifice a light to the cause.

A solider by the name of Kaidron agreed to the sacrifice and gave up his world. Traverse Town would pick up the lost hearts from The Valley of Gales and house them. They’d lose their world but keep their lives.

Then all at once the worlds were gone. The darkness came and the lights went out. The sacrifice was successful as the light from the Valley faded walls were built and the darkness driven back.

Kaidron as a denizen of the Valley of Gales was required to survive to anchor the spell sacrificing his world. As the Darkness flooded over his heart slept as the grim work was done.

A whole year passed by and the worlds were returning to normal when Kaidron the last surviving classically trained keyblade master awoke from his slumber. His first stop was Traverse Town to check on his kind, his family and his friends. Only to find nothing there. The world that exists only to carry lost hearts was missing. That could only mean one thing, there were no lost hearts, and every heart was where it was meant to be.

Returning to the encampment Kaidron recovered notes from his old superiors finding that the light they requested wasn't just the world Valley of Gales but all its inhabitants. He had been tricked. He had been lied to by the people who he trusted most. Kaidron flew into a rage, he would recover his world and everyone he had lost no matter what. He could get back what was taken from him. Venture to the new separated worlds find their heart and take back the light that he was rightly owed. This would bring down the erected barriers causing the worlds to be defenceless to the darkness resulting in a flood they wouldn't easily survive. But what did Kaidron care? Why do these worlds get to exist when his was tricked away? He would have revenge on his generals and all the worlds in the realm of light would pay the price for his betrayal.

The first world to face his wrath was Ebony Falls, the home of his closest general. He stripped the light from its heart and left without a word as the darkness swept over ravaging the hearts of many. One warrior stood strong amongst the storm. A man named Turel descendent of the general himself and wielder of his key. Ignorant of the reasons why, seeing the destruction of his home he set on a personal mission. Gather warriors of his own to stop Kaidron’s wrath and save the worlds his father fought so hard to protect from the vengeful key hell bent of destroying the fragile balance.

    Rules:
    1. Remember to limit yourself, I don't want a story of god like heros running around ending the story in a day.
    2. No short responses. If your reply can't be considered a paragraph don't post it.
    3. Be descriptive, not really a rule but we all wanna be able to picture what is happening.
    4. You're allowed at most two characters but only if you can handle the workload of dealing with both personal storylines.
    5. No taking control of someone else's character that's an obvious one.

    Entering the fray:
Simply fill out the form adding pictures if you wish and I'll accept if I feel you are ready ^.=.^

    Character Appearance:
    Personality:
Character bio: (Keep it short just so we know the character better, don't wanna spill all the secrets before we start right?)

    My characters:

    Name: Kaidron Blaze
Age: unknown due to time in stasis. (Physically 26)
    Gender: Male
World of Origin: Valley of Gales,
    Home Worlds Status: Destroyed
    Affiliation: Light
Keyblade name: Winds of the Heart
Character appearance: Kaidron is an anthropomorphic dragonic humanoid. In place of scales Kaidron's body is covered in a thick white fur. His underbelly is a light yellow which extends all the way down to his dexterous tail. He possesses two large wings with a light blue membrane which can be used for extended periods of flight. Each one of his hands are capped with two large purple clawed fingers and a thumb.
His face is extended into a dragonic muzzle complete with sharp rows of teeth. With large deep blue eyes and 'frills' in place of ears identical in design to his wings. He also has two large spine like structures on his head extending from his forehead to the base of his skull which match his claws in colour. A short beard wraps around his chin also matching the colour of his claws. Whiskers also extend from his head much in the same way of traditional Asian dragons.
For clothing Kaidron only ever wears pants/trousers since a top would impede his wings. His pants normally consist of rather baggy looking cargo pants which are green in colour and a collar stripped with different colours.
Personality: Unpredictable and ruthless towards his goal, yet still with a strong moral compass.
Character Bio: (Mainly all covered in the starting story)
P.S: Kaidron still affiliates himself with the light despite being the stories main antagonist so he won't be all friendly with dark keys.

    Name: Turel
    Age: 22
    Gender: Male
    World of Origin: Ebony Falls
    Home World Status: Destroyed
    Affiliation: Light
    Keyblade name: Glimpse of Righteousness
Character Appearance: A tall man Turel has long tangled brown hair reaching past his shoulders. His body is well muscled due to years of training under his fathers teachings. Green eyes and small still Romanesque nose Square jawed face with a small scar under his right eye. He wears a version of his fathers robes featuring the crest of his home world (A black waterfall) which he was ripped into a shorter outfit and added a pair of dark brown pants to.
Personality: Traditional and very loyal though headstrong with a tendency only to see right and wrong as black and white.
Character Bio: Only son to the general Kaidron served under who spent all his life under the strict teachings of his father's military style life. His mother died while he was young and his father shortly before Kaidron awoke. Due to his abrasive personality he has made little connections on his own world and feels the weight of his fathers mistakes upon his shoulders feeling its his responsibility to sort things out.

    Name: Gexln
Age: Technically 23, but has the appearance of roughly an 18 year old.
    Gender: Male
    World of Origin: Aatarsilu
Home worlds status: About seventy percent corrupted, I suppose.
Affiliation: Technically neutral, though tipped towards the light.
Keyblade Name: It's not exactly a keyblade, but his weapon is called Darkness' Sorrow. He travels between worlds via use of dark corridors.
Character Appearance: All credit for this drawing goes to my awesome friend Xero, but if you want the appearance then Here
Personality: Aggressive, confident, yet extremely protective of the few people he cares about.
    Character bio:
As his Somebody lost his heart to darkness at the age of 18, Gexln has had a little bit of time to adjust to things. He has an attachment to the element of darkness and uses this in his fighting style, and because of this occasionally he can come off as a little cold. Merely three months after the nobody Gexln came into being, he was confronted by a man wielding a scythe that was hellbent on the destruction of all the worlds. It was his first battle as a Nobody, but he emerged victorious, albeit barely alive.

Years went on and Gexln did what he could to slay the creatures of the dark using his newfound powers. He had a reason to keep fighting, a person to keep him from collapsing into the darkness and giving up entirely, and that reason was his best friend, Kara. She had been his Somebody's romantic interest, and those feelings still lingered though she did not know that he had survived the tragedy that seemingly took the life of Glen Senka. However, all Gexln's abilities would be put to the test yet again as the world of Aatarsilu lost much of its light. It began dying from within, the darkness slowly spreading from the core of the world to the surface. Despite this tragedy, the Nobody didn't mind the loss of the world so long as Kara was safe. Once it became evident that she, too, would lose herself to the darkness if the corruption was allowed to continue, he set off to discover a way to stop the progression and even reverse the damage it had done.

    Name: Destiny Raven
    Age: 17
    Gender: Female
    World of Origin: Ashen Rose
Home worlds status: intact but the darkness is starting to move closer
    Affiliation: Light
Keyblade Name: Destiny isn't trained in how to use weapons that well. She is willing to take and try whatever weapon someone provides her with but has no means of getting her own. She can however use magic fairly well. How she travels is through a star shard that her father had locked away and she can soon get her hands on. (She may gain the ability to use a keyblade later, but for now she can't)
    Character Appearance: ~
Personality: Destiny is rather happy girl, despite her life. She tries to look on the good side of everything and generally isn't hateful towards anyone. She is a little unsure of herself but will do whatever is asked of her. Destiny is soft spoken, you are not likely to hear her opinions, and she is not quite sure what to do with herself sometimes. However she has the strength to move forward in her life everyday, no matter how hard things get and rarely complains about it.
Character bio: Destiny's story begins at her birth. She was born to a beautiful young woman named Crystal. Her father was a keyblade master, and had left to fight in the keyblade war, therefor not being there for the birth of their very special daughter. Destiny was not born like most people on her world, but born with a set of small, silky black wings. This was abnormal in their world but not unseen. It had been said those who were born with these wings were destined to be powerful, great, and filled with more kindness than anyone had seen. They were set to be great rulers. And thus Destiny's future was set out for her, one her mother thought would be great.

Things didn't go as smoothly as planned however with her life. A man,who used to be royalty and help rule their world approached Destiny's mother, offering to help her care for the child till it's father returned. Graciously Crystal accepted, blind to the other motives. As soon as the child turned three and was no longer as dependent on her mother, the man killed Crystal and took Destiny into his care. You see this man was very bitter about the fact he went from ruler to nothing because of a black winged man who was born years before. Because of chance in birth that man became ruler and he became nothing. He was bitter and didn't want to just kill those who were born with the wings, no that would be too easy. They had to suffer for the suffering they caused him.

So Derick, the formal ruler, raised the child, but not in a good way. He would beat her and torture her when she didn't do what he asked or didn't do it correctly. He treated her worse then a slave. He barely gave her the food she needed to survive, and kept her locked inside. However Destiny proved to be resilient. No matter how much he beat her or tortured her, no matter how little he gave her to eat, no matter how close he though he was to her death, she always lived, and not just lived but with a beautiful song on her lips. The girl would take whatever was thrown on her, and by the end of the day would come out singing even still.

*Will most likely make a second character tomorrow when I have time.

You didn't provide any info of appearance in the section but I can gather major details through the bio. Destiny's upbringing will resonate well with Kaidron's character and I anticipate interesting conversations between the two about the feelings of betrayal.
    Welcome aboard

    World of Origin: Raindaus
    Home worlds status: Destroyed
    Affiliation: Light
    Keyblade Name: Curses Light
Character Appearance: This here is a hyperlink of the appearance, take it and like it!
Personality: Carson seems to be moody and keep to himself. He helps people and asks little in return giving the appearance of a kind heart, but because no one knows who he is, no one fully trusts him. He is a rather lonely and desperate soul but doesn't show it much. He tries to be strong and keep going and hide his real thoughts and fears of this curse.
Character bio: Carson is a lost soul who is doomed to wander forever more. He moves from world to world and cleans up any scrapes of darkness that seeped through or got it before the barriers were complete. However Carson doesn't just do this to help the worlds. The markings down the arm are the physical manifestation of a curse that was put on him. This curse causes him great pain if he doesn't feed it scrapes of darkness from time to time. He could absorb the darkness, but too much can cause him to lose his mind to the darkness and go mad. He is forced to search for whatever darkness he can get without it being too much. He cannot keep his sanity if he were to get the darkness from the mass amount trying to protrude on the worlds. Carson now wanders doing what he can to try to find a cure for his curse and trying to help those around him in whatever way he can.

    Age: 16
    Gender: Male
    World of Origin: Astralux
Home worlds status: Stable for the time being
    Affiliation: Light
    Keyblade Name: Luxcaliber
    Character Appearance:
Personality: Despite his formal attire, Lumen has a carefree air to him. He prefers to do things at his own pace rather then feel rushed in his actions. That aside, he's a noble person when in comes down his beliefs and actions (at times). Usually if something doesn't sit right with him, he's likely to either intervene or involve himself in his own unique way.
Character bio: Lumen's early life was filled with various things being expected of him due to his lineage and while he was certainly proud of who he was descendant of, he was not fond of all the expectations. To him they were restricting his way of life, keeping him from being how he truly wanted to be. Unfortunately there wasn't much that he could do in lew of complaints since any complaints of his were met with the expectation card being thrown right at his face. Being face with his innate desire to avoid disappointment, he had little choice but to endure it. Time went on and while Lumen did gradually adjust to having all the expected placed onto his, with the help of his friends he was able to remain his carefree self and not lose sight of who he truly was.

Probably going to make a second character as well.

    Name: Teliana Meran
    Age: 23
    Gender: Female
    World of Origin: Vampiron
Home worlds status: Destroyed like my childhood innocence.
    Affiliation: Neutral
Keyblade Name: Teliana uses fire magic and a silver dagger as her weapon. She doesn't have a keyblade, but has heard of them. She traveled from her destroyed world using a dark portal her father shoved her into. After that she hitches rides on gummi ships with strangers.
    Character Appearance: Linkage
Personality: Teliana doesn't really care about morals, she cares about functionality. If the weapon, plan or choice gets the job done, then she takes it. She has a lone wolf kind of attitude, and keeps to herself except when she needs something. She enjoys humor and a good time but these usually take the back burner to her number one goal, listed previously.
Character bio: Teliana was raised by her father, her mother having passed away at a young age. She and her younger sister were trained to protect themselves from the monsters of their dark world in various ways, shapes and forms. When their world began to fall apart, Teliana was shoved into a portal by her father of unknown make and origin. She ended up in a world that was very unlike her own, and has struggled to survive ever since. She doesn't know if her father or sister survived, but has made it her mission to find them, by way of a keyblade, with which she has a somewhat unhealthy obsession.

    Name: Kala Meran

    like that apple pie
    Affiliation: Dark
Keyblade Name: Linkage Kala calls it "Edge".
    Character Appearance: More Linkage.
Personality: Kala is the dark to her sister's light (well, neutral). She enjoys having power over others, and is a natural leader.
Character bio: Kala is Teliana's older sister, and the heir to her father's kingdom. She grew up practicing to be a ruler to the country, and was old enough to remember their mother's death. Celebrated as the best monster hunter in their land, she felt helpless as her world was devoured by the darkness. Her father also managed to get her into a portal of darkness, but unlike her sister, she harnessed the darkness, and found herself a keyblade. Now she travels in between worlds, searching for the people she considers responsible for the demise of her previous life.

World of Origin: The Serpent's Nest

    Affiliation: Dark
    Keyblade Name: Dragon's Wrath
    Character Appearance: Here you go
Personality: Cunning, a little mysterious. Doesn't see the point of meaningless violence, but will use many reasons to begin.
Character bio: The Serpent's Nest was once a land filled with many mythical creatures, the most dominant being dragons. When an individual came of age, they picked a dragon to become their parabatai, forming an incredibly powerful link that heightens the capabilities of both of the creatures involved to their maximum potential.

Natasa's parabatai was called Gretchen, and was a runt of the litter. The black dragon was often overlooked and neglected, much like Natasa herself was. However, once the two formed their link, they became immensely powerful. Their strength rivalled that of the gods they worshipped, and together they fought off many invaders. However, eventually a threat emerged that was so strong that the two of them together could not defeat it, and as a warrior engulfed completely in darkness approached their world's core, Gretchen tried desperately to stop them. The warrior struck the dragon down without a second thought, using the strength of the mystical weapon they carried to siphon the spirit of the dragon inside of it as they destroyed the world entirely.

The moment the dragon died, Natasa was weakened. Without a parabatai, she was nowhere near as powerful as she had once been, and a small part of her would be forever dead inside of her, a hole nothing could fill, no matter what she tried. She decided the only way to truly combat the warrior would be to understand darkness itself, and set out to help those that would attempt to destroy the worlds she had once fought so hard to protect.

    (Lets get this started!)

The day had been won, at least by one perspective it was a victory. The air was dark, the smoke of destruction smothering all available light as a lone winged figure flue above the destruction.
Kaidron Withdraw his keyblade in a small flurry of wind as he reached it out long and called out to the heavens. A fragment of light fluttered from within the road and sped towards his key. Kaidron drew his keyblade high and brought it down on the light and it vanished, and he grinned.
Then from out of the chaos emerged a figure he knew, his keyblade unmistakeable. Kaidron stopped, still high above it all he called out to the figure.
"Good morning General Turel, I Didn't think..."
His sentence was cut short as the figure was no longer obscured by the smoke of the destruction he looked far younger than he had remembered.
"Is this a trick? Some sort of ghost from the past come to plague me?"
The figure raised his keyblade towards Kaidron and yelled out.
"I am the son of General Turel of the keyblade war. Your crimes will not be forgiven! I will hunt you down and make you pay for your actions here today!"
Kaidron laughed. He was definitely the generals son. Then he remembered his cause and became solemn once again in reply.
"And what of the sins of the past? Are they to be swept away?"
    "What do you mean demon?"
"Your father orchestrated the death of all my people. Under his vain view of sacrifice and righteousness. All I am doing is reclaiming what was stolen from me."
The words caught Turel off guard, he had never heard anything like that from his father.
Kaidron not wishing to wait around used the moment to take his leave throwing his keyblade into the air he created a hole and flew through it into the facility of his next target.
Turel was shocked, a skill like that as simple as it may of appeared was all but lost except from classically trained keyblade master. This was indeed a man from his fathers past and he intended to get answers from him.
Before the hole Kaidron had created closed Turel used his acrobatics to jump from the flaming buildings throwing himself through the portal after Kaidron.

Teliana was running through the corridor, amidst the screams and cries of the people around her. An old woman tripped and fell, and Teliana stopped to help her to her feet. "Forget the basket and go!" She shouted, gently urging the old woman forward before turning back. She was running against the crowd, fighting to get to the weapon's room. That was where her father was, arming his men against an overwhelming tide of darkness. He crushed her into a hug at the sight of her. "I love you, my daughter!" He yelled over the sound of wind, rushing through the broken windows. Teliana looked up at him, her mouth opening to ask him why he was acting this way, after all it wasn't as if the battle had been lost, when he shoved her backwards. She was falling, her arm reaching up towards his hand as she screamed, falling into darkness. Her body twisted and turned as she dropped, and just when she was about to hit the bottom, shielding her face with her arms, she-

Teliana shot up with a yelp, her arms shielding her face. She was covered in sweat, her body shaking with a mixture of adrenaline and fear. Not a dream, a memory. One far gone. She lowered her arms to her sleeping back, taking deep breaths in order to steady herself. It was over. They were all gone. She lay back down and curled up on her side, staring at the dim embers of the fire she had started hours ago. Far gone.

Kala cut down the monster, and leaned on her keyblade, her mouth twisted as she stared at the body, waiting for it to dissipate. It always did, eventually. She wondered where the darkness went, if there was a great bloody lake of it somewhere where congregated and birthed monsters, or if another monster was born after she killed the last. Ah, the philosophical meanderings of a wanderer. Clenching her fist, she stood straight as the keyblade disappeared. It would be back. It always came back when she needed it's help. Edge, she had come to call it. It had almost become a part of her, a little like a traveling companion. She felt silly to think that way of any weapon, but this one was...different. It had always been different. Twisting her fingers, she opened a portal, the tendrils of darkness creeping out towards her, almost reaching towards her with open arms. She sighed, then stepped into it without a look back at the empty cavern. The answers hadn't been here, like she had hoped, but she had found a clue. She wouldn't stop hunting until she found the answers she wanted, and gave those people, or creatures, whoever they were, what they deserved.

Destiny sat at her bedroom window in the attic, looking out on the street below, letting the sun kiss her face. She hummed a sweet tune as a magic light danced in her hand. The day was pleasant and Destiny was in a good mood, causing her small black, broken and torn, wings to flutter behind her. She never did understand why she had them. No one else she could see wandering the streets had them. Though the people wandering the streets had been becoming fewer and fewer over that past week. Something in the air was changing, she could feel it.
"Destiny! What are you doing up there? You better not be playing with that damned magic again! I thought I told you to pretend it didn't exist! What the hell am I going to do with you, useless girl!" A harsh voice yelled from the level below.
"Yes sir. Sorry sir." Destiny called back down before she closed her fist making the magic light vanish.
"You will deal with the consequences of that when I get home. For now get to work cleaning the house. I expect it spotless by the time I get home. If it is not, then no dinner for you tonight." The man yelled back at Destiny.
"Understood sir." The girl replied before the door slammed shut. The young girl stood up from the window that she looked out and made her way to the door of her room, that today was left unlocked for her.

The girl started her cleaning, running from room to room, dusting, sweeping and mopping. She had become quite good at these things and could do them quickly. As she ran around cleaning, a song returned to her lips. She was so lost in the song that she had not noticed what she was doing, and knocked something off a shelf. She tried desperately to catch in, but failed, knocking it into a large map painted on the wall. The object didn't break thankfully, but the bookshelf beside the map started to move on it's own.

Jumping back Destiny readies a small ball of ice in her hand as she watched the bookshelf move, expecting something to come out from behind it. When nothing did she stepped towards it, using the light magic again to see into the area properly. Behind the bookcase was a small room containing a desk, and a couple shelves. Destiny walked into the room slowly and looked around the desk. It looked like it hadn't been touched in years, that being the case, master Derick probably didn't know this room even existed. There was a small stack of letters sitting on the desk, nicely bundled up. She picked up the letter on the top and unfolded it, to read it the best she could with her minimal reading skills.

    Dear my sweetest Crystal,
I know times are hard from you and I am so sorry I couldn't be there to witness the birth of our very special daughter, Destiny. However I cannot come home yet. The war is almost over I promise, and then I will return to you. Until then please do not accept the offer from Derick. I know you are struggling, but he is a very bad, bitter man. I do not trust him one bit. You are strong Crystal, you can do this on your own, just please try. If you are ever in danger, on the shelf above my desk in the map room, there is a box. Take the pen from the desk and find the whole in the bottom of the box. If you put the pen in that hole, the box will open and you will find something called a star shard. Take that and grab Destiny. Hold onto the shard tight, and think of me. It will bring you somewhere safe, and then I will come to find you. I promise.
Take care, and remember I love you,
    Chase.

Destiny studied the names in the letter. On top of her own being included, there was another she heard in vague mention before, Crystal. Was it that she was her mother? Destiny didn't know either of her parents, just her care taker, Derick. She didn't know what happened to them, but she guessed that this was the first step in finding out. She then followed the other instructions in the letter, about the box, and the pen. Doing as the letter stated, she discovered a glowing rock. It was still there. Destiny grabbed the rock, and rushed it to hide it in her room. When she was done she ran back to the study to put the bookcase back in place and finish her cleaning.

Destiny was only just able to get the bookcase back in place when she heard the door open. This wasn't good, she had only gotten about three-quarters of what she needed to get done, done. Derick had come back so quickly, and now she was going to pay for that.

"Destiny! Here now!" The man ordered from the front entry way.
Destiny ran to where her master was standing and stood before him, damp cloth still in hand. Before either of them could say a word the echo of a sharp slap across the face echoed through the front entry way. This was followed by a punch to the gut, then a shove causing Destiny to lose her balance and fall to the floor. Derick gave her another kick to the gut before bothering to speak up at all.
"You call this room clean? What have you been doing if not cleaning? You are a waste of time. I don't know why I bother keeping you around." He grumbled. He then grabbed Destiny by the hair to make her look at him, as he crouched down to her eye level. "As for that magic you where using earlier. Never touch that damn stuff again. Do you understand? It is not something you should be messing with. I have told you this before." His breath was laced with alcohol as he breathed into Destiny's face, keeping the young girls stare for as long as he could, trying to intimidate her. "Now back to work. No dinner for you tonight and when you are done cleaning, straight to your room. You will be locked up there until I need something from you again." He ordered as he slapped her hard again right before letting go of her hair and letting her collapse back to the ground. "I suggest you hurry." He then added before walking off.

"Gah! Damn it." Carson gritted his teeth as he grabbed onto his right arm as it filled with pain. "I have to hurry up and find another world with a little darkness on it." He muttered to himself as he flew his keyblade glider through the lanes between. The curse was getting to him and wracking his body with pain. He had to hurry and find a place to stop and absorb some darkness before it got too bad. Hopefully this time he could save the planet as well. He didn't want to see another one lost to the darkness. Nor did he want to see himself lost to it, due to the curse placed on him.

It wasn't too much longer before Carson found a world that seemed to be struggling with darkness, Aatarsilu. He approached the world and landed on it, switching out of his keyblade armour right after. Each world had different thoughts on those with the keyblade, so he rather keep it on the down low the best he could. He could feel the darkness in the air, the world was close to gone it seemed. Casron stood still for a moment, letting the darkness in the air absorb into his arm, but it wasn't enough. He needed more. The man slowly started making his way towards a town. Hopefully people would be out and around chatting about what the darkness was doing to the world. He could maybe catch where it was concentrated or where something was appearing that needed taken care of. He could find a way to help without talking to anyone.

Carson did exactly as he planned. He mad his way into the town and found an area around what seemed to be it's town square. The man then sat on a bench, his head low. He tried not to draw attention to himself, or look suspicious by actually hiding. The only problem with this was, rune on his arm were glowing from the darkness they had just taken in, something like that was hard to hide. Though he did hope most people would pay no mind, who wanted to talk to some random stranger anyways. For now he listened. If someone questioned him, well he would cross that bridge when he reached it.

A cool breeze blew through the air as and the tree branches gently waved to and fro. It was a beautiful day and on a day such as this one should do nothing but kick back, relax and enjoy the serenity. However on Astralix, even on days such as this the youth were still hard at work. Training for any such event where they would be needed to fight. However there was one person who was actually doing what one would expect on a day such as this and that person's name was Lumen.

Right now Lumen was currently laying down on a bench, eyes closed as the gentle breeze blew by. It must've been an odd sight, seeing someone as dressed as formal as he was laying down on a bench without a care in the world. Fortunately Lumen wasn't one to care about small things. Of course he also wasn't much was doing things that he wasn't feeling and today, he wasn't feeling like training like everyone else. Man, this is going to suck when I get caught. The thought ran through his head as he moved himself til he was sitting up.

Eventually they took notice to his absence during training and sent someone after him and, regardless of him hiding or now, they found him and brought him back to the training ground. Where he was subjected to a stricter training program than the others. Most people assumed it was due to his absence that he was given that treatment, but the reality was it was because of his ancestors. Legendary warriors, strategists, etc, basically anything that would be deserving of a lot of praise was in his blood. Lumen did mind that, in fact he found it pretty cool. What he did mind was the fact that they were basically forcing him to be like them. If he did want to be like them, then he would do it on his own time. Oh well, he's complained about this numerous times and it didn't change again. Might as well enjoy this 'break' while he could. Thus, he went back to laying down and actually decided to take a nap while he was at it.

Teliana ignored the discomfort in her knees as she sipped from the stream, wiping the back of her hand against her mouth when she had finished. It was peaceful here; the green trees, quietly burbling stream, the song of birds. She knew she couldn't stay forever, but she wanted to. She wanted to give up, and just try to find a place to spend the rest of her days. To keep fighting, to try to keep searching...it was exhausting, and taking a toll on her. She knew she had the beginnings of crow's feet at the corners of her eyes, despite her young age, and the circles underneath them never seemed to leave no matter how much sleep she tried to get.

Maybe one day, she could rest. One day soon, hopefully. But for now, she was better served moving on. Getting to her feet, she ran her fingers through her hair, and started off.

The portal's stream seemed to last forever a great tunnel of colour and lights. Blues, greens and yellows spieling to an unknown destination. Turel felt a sickening feeling like falling cling to him as he hurtled through the fracture. He was weightless propelled by some unseen force and struggled to prevent from mercilessly rotating as he continued on this disorientating journey. For as long as the journey seemed Turel noticed that Kaidron was nowhere in sight. Turel couldn't focus however the feeling was becoming overwhelming and then as sudden as it came, it stopped.
Turel sat awhile reorganising his equilibrium to the new perfectly solid ground before standing to take in his surroundings. A land so far estranged from his own. Rocky cliffs rose in every direction framing the sandy dunes lining area. The land he was sat upon seemed stable so must be another plateaued cliff he assumed. Taking a stand he noticed the lack of vegetation of any kind.
"Not many things could live here" Turel thought to himself aloud.
Turel took a few steps to the edge of the cliff he was standing on and leaned over as far as he dared. As he feared too far to jump down, and where would he go? He didn't even know where he was to begin with.
As if summoned by his hesitation black forms crawled from the rocky floor pulling themselves from the very shadows cast by the light above them. Turel knew of these creatures from his father's teachings. Grim spectres of lost hearts swimming through the darkness with ease. Turel's father told him that these creatures feared the keyblade and Turel was going to make sure they remembered why.
Withdrawing Glimpse of Righteousness with a flash of light he held it aloft towards the quivering shadows as the stood eyeing him as prey.
"You will pay for every heart you have stolen into the dark! Gaze upon my blade and tremble as I name thy Heartless!"
As his final word fell from the air Turel charged towards the creatures. Wielding his keyblade with ease Turel lashed at the creatures repeatedly. The feral animal like shadows twitched their antennae and lunged felled by the light of each swing of Glimpse of Righteousness.
Turel stood triumphantly as the heartless dissipated their darkness dissolved by Turel's impressive command of light. However his celebration was short lived as from behind a noise caught his attention. He barely had time to turn and parry the strike of an overall larger form of heartless. This one stood 4 foot tall humanoid in appearance and held a dark blue blade in his claws. Wings protruded from its back and it hovered above the ground.
Turel hopped back the heartless's attack failing to hit its mark. He readied his key and quieted himself and concentrated remembering yet another lesson from his father Turel pointed the key towards the creature and shouted.
As he swung his blade again a bright light erupted from the tip a wave of pure force and power that it cleaved the heartless in two before it could react. Careful not to let his guard down again Turel surveyed his surrounding. Nothing more seemed to be appearing and so he relaxed a moment to catch his breath.
An explosion in the distance caught Turel by surprise. He turned to observe a large sphere of energy forming in the distance. At last a direction!
Turel saw the plateaued cliff next to his curved towards the ground in the direction he needed to head. He looked at the gap between the two cliffs and was confident he could jump it. With a flick of his wrist Turel de-materialised his bonded weapon and leaned down in a classic runners starting position. Taking a few deep breaths he charged towards the gap and leaped. Displacing a few rocks Turel landed on the second cliff breaking in a roll before getting the location of the explosion square in his view on the horizon and headed towards it.
