A whole town destroyed.......

Ok, this might not appeal to you but it does to me!
The whole town of Greensburg, KS was destroyed by a mile and a half mile long tornado.
This town was literally wiped off the map!

A mile long tornado . Was it an f five? Man it is amazing how nature can be in a bad way.

 

Yes, it was an f5 (now EF5), it is the first one since the Oklahoma tornado!
It took out the whole town!

The only relation I had down there was my uncle's parents, their house was destroyed and are know going to live somewhere else.

 

Oh man thats horrible. I take it though they are fine. Gosh the whole town....I can't even to begin to imagine something like that.

Man I would have been afraid to get even that close to the tornado.

LOL yeah, I've been told this before. Cause I'm always around storms for some reason. But yeah hate tornadoes.

Those poor people. I've never gone through a tornado before, but I've had pleny my share of hurricanes. Every one that hit Florida; Francis, Wilma, Jeane, Charley, Ivan.

All of which left a lot of damage. ):

And besides tornado's on average only last minutes so it's pretty much impossible for one to be that big or last that long to take out a state.

I just heard about this, it's horrible, a whole town...just wow. When an F5 occured it happened to hit a town dead one, that is such bad luck.
