If you really love him, keep him, but if you have doubts, then you should break it off entirely, having broken up before.

 

The whole reason I broke up with him was because I wasn't sure if i really loved him...but I asked him to the 8th grade lual (idk how to spell that)..only 8th graders are allowed to come and he said yes...I asked him if he would dance with me there and he said yes...I'm worried....

 

Love? Sce, pre-teen love is pathetic (no offence)... but I guess do what makes you happy... :\

 

none taken...I believe that 6th grade through your sophmore year is puppy love...as you get older, you will understand it more..! I get it...but I feel like I could hug Justin right now and actually tell him I never should've let him go and that I want him back...

I'm not being picky or anything...but I've been single all year long because I don't know if I love him or not...but now I do know...

So, are you a little nervous? It may seem scary at first, but just go through it, and it won't be so bad after all. Remember, if you are too worried, you should consider perhaps waiting before things get too serious if you really love him that much. Otherwise, you could just bail.

If you think that up to sophmore year is only puppy love then it's really obvious that you don't know what true love, or even how to recognise it if it was right in front of you the whole time. I lost someone because of that mistake, even though I never had her in the first place. I was so close, and it was love that I've always longed for more than anything else in the world, and it still is. But I didn't even notice, the slightest bit, just because I didn't think that anyone could love me. Or mabe because I didn't know how to recognise it. I didn't find out until several months later, when I was talking with her on messenger. I was overwhelmed with depression, saying how I could never be loved, and how noone has ever loved me in the past. After a while, she felt sorry for me, and told me that she liked me, so that I could feel better. But it made me feel worse, because of how big of a mistake I made. What's worse is that I've always gone to her for dating advice, even when she still liked me, and eventually, she just moved on. Just as I thought I knew what love was, it turned out that it was already gone. I learned a great lesson that day. I learned how to know, when someone truely loves you. So how can you know what true love really is, or even how or when it's really there or not?

 

Well, I for one am not a big supporter of dating ex's. I've never done it and though I've been tempted, I have yet to do it.
