Kingdom Hearts II confused out of my mind

why is namine a witch and has powers but kairi doesn't, or does she? am i missing something?

 

My guess it is something to do with becoming a nobody. I highly doubt any of the Org XIII members had the powers they do when they were humans, plus Roxas can double wield no problem. Maybe becoming a nobody gives you powers?

 

I wanted to know that too! Isn't Namine' in a way Kairi's nobody?
Because, I'm just as lost.
It's really confusing. @.@

But, the whole Roxas and Sora thing I get.
Namine'... (I didn't play Chain of Memories yet, my brother's been hogging it),
came out of no where to me so far. But, I get why she's here.
I get the whole plot, so technically it's like I played C.o.M.
Heh... I'm still confused though. O_o

Namine isnt actually a witch, she is some special heartless which is linked to sora and kairi because of like all the things that happen. She only can control sora's memories cause she is linked to him :p so shes just special yup. she cant fly or open portals. haha
