I've never actually been to a con, but for Halloween, I've been an Anbu member (7th grade I think) and Himura Kenshin (10th grade). Made both costumes. Might be going to a free comic book day at a local comic shop once my Mando armor's done, and with any luck Celebration V in the summer.
I've never cosplayed. Not for lack of interest, but I don't have the figure for most of the characters I'd like to play. I could probably pull off Jiraiya, though.
I saw Naruto cosplayers at a furniture store once >>. Only cosplay I've done myself was Mio Akiyama from K-ON! at a convention.
Not bad, the only cosplay I ever did was Kenpatchi from Bleach. I put glue in my hair, took forever to wash out.

One time I saw my friend Jerome at Wal Mart cosplaying Belphegor from Katekyo Hitman Reborn. I gave him a big hug :3
