Costume Option?

I've been playing and seeing Lets Plays of horror games (mainly Fatal Frame) that have the option to have costumes and I wonder this one thing. If future Kingdom Hearts titles were to give you the ability to have costumes what do you think they would be?
Personally, I would like to see Sora in a school uniform, Moogle costume (Final Fantasy X-2 reference), Yukata. Riku in a school uniform, Yukata, a Chocobo costume, and Dark Mode. Kairi in a Yukata (with her hair up), maybe a Yuna (Final Fantasy X or X-2) costume because she fits the character (In my personal opinion), or possibly in Namine's dress.

What do you guys think? What would you guys like to see if Kingdom Hearts had the costume option?

 

I think a costume option would be pretty cool, as long as it didn't alter the gameplay any. Maybe Sora in his KH2/KH1 outfits could be other options.

 

Eh, I don't think it is really necessary so long as they keep up with alternate costumes based on what world you are it.

Might be nice for armor to have some visible effect. But as it is now in Kingdom Hearts you can have nonsensical equipment (like three crystal crowns at once) forcing either more strict equipment setups to avoid that, allowing a character look silly, or (more likely) making a logic hole by only showing one of whatever items conflict.

 

Costumes dont really effect the gameplay :)

The costumes dont have to be taken seriously nor they effect the gameplay and restrict items you equip. They are for FUN. Costumes can give the game some replay value. For example, you unlock a Organization XIII coat for Sora when you finish the game once. Things like that.

 

I know that, I was just talking about another variation.

As you said it, I could have seen it working in Days but doesn't really fit with the style of most Kingdom Hearts.

 

It doesn't really have to fit with the style of a game. It is more of a gift to the player for their hard work :)
Unless they cheat and have them in their first playthrough Lmao! xD

 

Ohh,I would quite like this in the game,maybe as something you unlock once the credits are over?
Just because it would be great to be able to make Sora wear stupid,unsuitable outfits.

 

Sora: KH1/2/3D outfits, Cloud's cross-dress outfit, any of his world outfits minus atlantica cuz walking with no feet is hard to animate, Keyblade armor, the crowns from KH2FM
Riku: KH1/2/3D outfits, Org coat, Dark Mode, Halloween town, Vincent Valentine's outfit from Dirge, Keyblade Armor, Optional Blindfold on all of them.

That was indeed the case a few years ago, but the current trend is rather to make alternate costumes as a "gift" to the player for his money, which is why I' d rather have KH keep to its usual alternate costumes approach. DLCs should stay the hell away from KH.

 

I like the idea of alt costumes to be added since I think it would add to the game being in a different costume. In my opinion having an alt costume would add to the game time and would be enjoyable since like in bbs i really enjoyed the little bit when i got to play as ven, aqua and terra in their armor so i'd like if they added an option to change your costume in kh games.

 

Before the whole DLC gag started costumes like in Fatal Frame were good and fit the style like Kiminos. If there was ever a Final Mix then they would add more costumes. I really dont think they would make DLC for Kingdom Hearts games.

You have no idea how boring some games can get with the same outfit on since day 1 when you buy the game. It's time for a change. Let Sora have a Organization XIII coat for fun along with the inside joke from 358/2 Days.

 

Hum, it would be a pretty cool option. :)

But of course, I would like it available at the ending of the game, in the Game Plus + Mode. It should be an extra so you can be unlocking new customs as long as the story goes on.
