What kind of a jerk would make a Kira reference here? Kira obviously didn't do it, since the given family names of dogs are not always their original/natural names, Kira would have to use the shinigami eyes, and it is defined in the "How to use it" that the shinigami eyes only work on humans. Jeez.

And that wasn't really nice to say "Great!" I'm okay with it. My love for my pet is different than my love of a fellow human, but my younger brother's been taking it rather hard.

 

I know, but people who would make a Kira reference here obviously don't know much about the rules and regulations of the Death Note. It even says in How to use it I- The HUMAN whose name is written in this book shall die.

Because it's so stinking good up until right around episode 20, after that, it sucks so bad that it more than makes up for any fleeting awesomness there may have been at the beginning.

 

I said did on purpose. Knowing the people on this forum, we won't be referring to him in present tense much longer, since these posts are read in the future, I was planning ahead.

But it built up to the end, which was one of the most epic scenes in anime history.
