Kingdom Hearts Deep Dive is refering to which game?

We have all seen the secret ending on kh1... Wether on Youtube or we actually
did it on the game.... Now exactly wich game is it a trailer for? We
assume it is for kh2... But the battle between Riku and Roxas is before kh...
Right during the time span where 358/2 days occurs... Could have been a trailer
for 358/2 days? Or do we look even further? During the cutscene
there was static like some sort of computer..... We assume that is ansem's
computer and he's putting in Sora's memories..... But
Sora shouldn't have memories of that cause he wasn't there....
It could have been static from another computer...
In kh: Coded Jimimies journal is downloaded into a computer...
Or the mysteries surrounding the Garden of Assembladge.
Could it have been that computer?

 

It's supposed to show what happened right before KHII, a prequel of sorts. Sora was still asleep at this time, and it's about Riku and Roxas' presumably second battle. Please forgive me if I misunderstood the question.

 

It sounds like a trailer for 358/2 days, now that you say it in that way, I really never thought that it was a trailer for kingdom hearts 2, I don't think it's a trailer for coded though, they were thinking about that after they made Re:CoM I think.

 

The trailer at the end of KH was to show events in the very beginning of KH2. The fight between Roxas and Riku was also shown in KH2 to a bit more detail. Perhaps in 358/2 days we will see a bit more of what happened in the two fights between Roxas and Riku but the trailer itself was for KH2 to show 'another side, another story' which was pertaining to those two characters because they aren't shown in Sora's side of things.

 

well for starters, it showed KHII since Roxas and Riku was the main cast...But at the same time, I think 358/2 is also another one of its reference. It's too early to conclude about 358/2 because there is very little info. about the game, but based on fact, we can pressume that it is so.

 

It was intended to be for Kingdom Hearts II but it also can be a preview for the end of 358/2 Days. Keep in mind that Another Side, Another Story was all made in America because in America they had slightly more faith in the success of the game then in Japan. Deep Dive version of Another Side, Another Story was just an add-on for the final mix when it was becoming clear that Kingdom Hearts was a success. It was about the time that Chain of Memories was about to be released.

Deep Dive was basically an in between clip for kh and kh2.

And I don't understand how that could have been Roxas if it were a clip from before kh's time frame, I always figured Roxas didn't even come into existence until Sora stabs himself in kh =/

And you'd be right to think that. It happened before KH2 but after Chain of Memories. Final Mix+ has a extra scene where Riku and Roxas continue talking after the scenes of Deep Dive. Riku only started looking for Roxas after his conversatoin with DiZ at the end of Chain of Memories.

 

it's a prequel to KH2 - i dont think they would of started to make 385/2 days at that time

 

Yeah everyone else is pretty much saying what I think. It's while Sora is out of it that roxas and riku go at it. I kinda like how they show how riku still has some sorta command over heartless still. Unless I'm wrong about that.

 

Well,this cutscene,happens when sora is asleep,and riku is sent by ansem the wise to find roxas.Still there are many questions about roxas past,about how and when was he created,which are gonna be answered in 358/2 days(hopefully),so i can't really answer with being 100% sure...>.<
