A very big amount of people seem to get really moved by Disney films, a few really high scorers are the big names as Bambi, The Lion King, Belle and the Beast, etc.

For example, in Great Brittany, the top 5 biggest tears tractors include two Disney films: The Lion King, who placed 3rd, and Bambi, on the 1st place. (!)

Here in Holland, even Monsters Inc. appears in the top 10(8th)!

So, what does it do to you to hear that kid movies actually can make people cry?

I say the Lion King. Cause it was heartwarming. It moved lots of people when Mufasa died.

Beauty and the Beast makes me cry.

The Little Mermaid makes me cry.

The Lion King makes me cry.

I could go on but you get the picture. Disney makes me cry very easily.

Also, I don't think that Disney films are neccessarily just for kids. I am 20 but I still love them. Adults can appreciate them too.

It isn't that surprising to me that people are moved by the films.

Really, I cry in all of them.
But if there is one I couldn't even finish watching when I was younger was Bambi, that movie is just too sad!!!

Honestly, Disney just knew what they were doing back then, they had a goal of making it enjoyable/heartwarming to kids and adults, and they hit it right on the head. Also, because most disney movies have morals, us as adults can relate to those through are own expirences and in alot of cases, it moves us.

Out of the four to choose from, It's a tie between Bambi and Lion King that makes me cry a lot. When Bambi's mom and Simba's dad died, that made me cry.

I'd have to agree with you. Disney films often have moments in them that some kids would only understand half of it, but adults completely understand them. I think that's why adults like it also.

Disney movies suck now. The non-Pixar ones were my favorites. None of those choices except Bambi made me sad. Also, The Land Before Time was a heartbreaker.

Meh... I disagree. True, Disney was a lot better BEFORE the year 2000, but Disney is still pretty good. Not many modern-day Disney films are as sad as back then, but there still are(Monsters Inc. Finding Nemo). Though it will probably never be as brilliant as The Lion King, Bambi, Belle and the Beast, Tarzan, etc...

None of the movies we can choose from had too much of an effect on me. Monster's Inc did make me cry the last time I watched it I have to admit, Boo going "Kitty!" at the end is just too cute ._.

But Tarzan made me cry so much when I watched it, the first film ever to make me cry like that. And everyone thinks I'm a freak because I cried at that but Bambi has no effect on me.

Brother Bear made me cry the most. T_T It was so sad at one part. And Bambi 2, that one touched my heart. If they made you cry, that means the artists of these films really know how to bring the story to life. If you catch what I mean...

Monsters Inc. made me cry at the end, when Boo says "Kitty!". Ugh, it was so cute.

But I do cry in almost every single one; Disney just has that effect on me. It doesn't surprise me that adults feel that way as well. Disney brings out the kid in every person's heart, and that's why the movies are so moving. Either they can relate, or they're just really touching. Gah! I love Disney!
