Do you like your parents watching you while you're on the computer?

I don't, it gets annoying, what if I'm looking up something on you tube, that she might think is innapropriate??!!

 

I know!Its so annoying if your watching Sex.Mom caught me before.:( Just kidding i NEVER watch sex its just gay.

That's not an issue for me anymore. I didn't like it myself though, even though I didn't really have anything to hide.

 

As Styx said, my Father used to look at the history when I was younger, but now they don't really care.
And if I ever wanted to look what you two are discussing, I wouldn't talk about it on a Forum. Especially this one.

At this point I don't think me or my parents really care. They're not home most of the day anyway, and all I do is read manga, use MSN, go here, or use Photoshop. So it's not really a big deal.

They usually just tell me when I should get off the computer.
Like,at 9:00 or something.

I think if somebody's parent's are over their shoulder they obviously think they are watching or on bad sites that they wouldn't approve of.

 

Well my mom doesn't stand over my shoulder, breathing down my neck and staring at everything I'm doing because she trusts me enough, however if she's just sitting there and can see what I'm doing I will be careful of what I do/say.

No. They'd probably ask me why I'm on the computer a lot but they won't snoop around. Besides, I have abosolutely nothing to hide. I share the two computers we have here at my house. And, I use my dad's laptop a lot too. If I did have something to hide, I'd be asking my own laptop. Even though that's what I want.

The only person that does get in my business is my older brother. He's constantly asking who I talk to and it's annoying. That's the only reason why I want my own laptop.​

 

When I first started frequenting the internet, my parents would always check the history. Thinking back know, they probably found a lot of stuff, but never mentioned it to me.

So yeah.

 

I love it when I have someone over my shoulder checking what I do in my computer. But that never happens.

 

Mine don't very often at all. But it is a little awkward even though I don't have too much to hide.
They sometimes get into a little watching me phase when they've seen a Dr. Phil episode with teens using the interwebz. They stop once they remember that I'm not stupid, though.

My older sister does that, too. She doesn't like me talking to people on MSN from KHV or other sites. It's pretty annoying. >.<

 

Actually, when I first got my computer, my parents were never "looking over my shoulder" or something like that. I think they knew that I was too stupid back then to even figure out how to use the internet. :'D

But as of right now, they don't really care much. Though my dad is insistent on keeping my Facebook account restricted by his demands and such.

 

That would be akward because I'm 20. But I may still shit a brick or two.

 

My mom used to, but that was back when she was convinced Pokemon was a thing of the Devil. Nowadays, she still hates my games, but she doesn't watch me.

Also yeah, I do watch what I say on MSN if my parents are like RIGHT THERE. But otherwise...not so much. xD
