Ever had those calls

Where someone asks you if you want to buy something?
That happened to me this morning at 8AM, when I was asleep.
Asking me if I wanted to buy cleaning suplies >.>
Bich woke me up.
Last time It was at 6AM, asking me if I wanted to buy perfumes...
What do these people have against sleep??

I only get telemarketers not salesmen... o.o

 

I got 5 calls from Monster.com yesterday. People want me to work for them, But ive never submitted a resume there. And its always like accounting or something... >.>

 

I think they're fun. It's fun to be creative when speaking to them.

For example:

"Hello, are your parents home?"
"Yes."
*long pause*
"Could I please speak to them?"
"No, they're under the floorboards.. :D"

Or if they don't ask to talk to your parents, pretend to be interested for ages and then just hang up, lol.

I'm tempted to start a thread about what not to say to a telemarketer.

 

I tend to threaten their lives

"If you call me again, I swear on the life of this god forsaken rock, I will hunt you down and hang you by your entrails. Do. Not. Test. Me." yeah....telemarketers dont call me no more....

 

Tell me that actually works and your not being sarcastic for the fun of the thread.

 

I'm dead serious, I havnt gotten a telemarketing call in 6 months.

"......... Yes, it is! =D But, I'm sorry, I can't talk right now! I've got to go sacrifice my goat. ;D"

Here one I had

Lady on phone: Blabbers on about what a phone has for about 5 mins
Me: Sorry don't want a new phone
Lady on phone: repearts her self word for word.
Me: I said I don't want one.
Lady on phone: Okay then bye *hangs up*
Me: Thanks for wasting my time.

 

You talk to yourself after they hang up... o.0

 

News paper just called:

Register: Hello, this is the OC Regis-
me*cuts them off* Not interested
Register: I understand but, it is a grea-
me: Not interested
Register: Alright, listen just let me finish
me: How about I call you when your in the middle of something very important and try to sell you life insurance, all I need is your address and credit card information...
Register: Your a ****ing ******* *hangs up*
me: Thanks, I know.
