Ever Notice...

This really isn't signifigant to anything undiscovered, but did anyone else notice that in KH1, Sora has white, Fingerless Gloves, and Riku has black, Palmless Gloves that do cover the fingers. Then, in KHII, Sora wears mostly black and Riku wears white?

I think Nomura did it just to show how they are opposite.

Also maybe because Riku was turning into the dark, and in KHII Riku was turning away from the dark.​

Yes, I noticed that, but I didn't think it really meant anything. I think it signifies Sora's acceptance with darkness and Riku's transformation to the light.

Whoa, I never noticed that. It could show that Riku accepted the darkness inside him and is at peace. Normally when I think of something being at piece I think of white. And maybe Sora is in black to show that he too has some darkness inside him. Good discovery!

Though I did find it rather strange that Riku was the one wearing mostly light colours in KHII, seeing as he was ment to be the darker side.

Maybe it's more to show that Riku has moved past Darkness and Sora's still there in a way? Like Riku's trying to move on with his life whilst Sora's still trapped thinking about the Darkness and the Light and the struggle between the two?

Or maybe eve that Riku's dispostion has become brighter whislt Sora's became darker?

 

Hmm, didn't notice that, but it makes sense. Nomura did the same thing with Squall and Seifer in FFVIII, with their coats, Squall's being short and black, Seifer's being long and a light-grey.

 

I never noticed, but I'm not sure if it holds any significance or if it's a mere coincidence.

Never noticed that, but I did notice the whole black thing with Sora. Before the game came out and I was looking at pics, I was like "Well, if Sora is all about Light and stuff, then why is he wearing black like the Heartless?"

 

I always thought Sora's Kh2 outfit was Navy colored.Not black.But it really is something to wonder about.Riku with bright colors,and Sora with dark colors.
