Spoiler Spoiler Had fun making this. The art style of Pokemon inspired me to make my own trainer so here she is. Named Kellu cause was talkin to Kells on Skype asking for advice on this
Cuuuute. c: Like the outfit, like the face & the hair, very striking. I wouldn't expect the colors to work, but they do. That said, the hat seems like an afterthought; the dark red doesn't really go with anything and the hat itself kinda sits on top of the head instead of fitting it. That and the fingers are a little clawlike, might want to use smoother edges. Otherwise cool piece.
Oooooh, this I like. The outfit is simple, but not boring at all. Love the hairstyle, and how you drew her face. Try working on the arms though, since her left arm just looks really weird. I'd also have liked if you gave her a skin color. And the belt accessories lost their detail from the sketch, so I didn't know what they were for a moment :<
I wasn't aiming for cute dangit I was aiming for tough lol Yeah, I agree about the color of the hat, but I like it the way it is. I tried to fix the hat so that it would seem like it's ACTUALLY being worn, but not without sacrificing its figure, which I like. I admit I went slowpoke on the fingers It was kinda hard for me to make the arms look good without making em look weird. Like I tried making em realistic but it just ruined that feel of pokemon art style. So the arms will forever be weird noodles. As for the belt.....that's just some belt now. Girl has to accessorize. thx guys c:
Well, it's not so much the style of the arm, but the size and angle of it. It seems like the upper arm looks way too small (in both length and width), then the forearm looks large in comparison, and the elbow is misplaced. I think you could lower the angle of the arm to compensate for the disproportionate areas.
Hmmm. I see it now. One's a bit small and the other bigger. I'll just say that it's because I was working on this late in the morning lol. Oh well, I'll fix it.....sometime.
