    Forum Wars – Civil War

    It all started when two friends turned enemies. The consequences of that decision have resulted in centuries of violence and bloodshed unlike anything the realm has ever seen.

    -An excerpt from “The Endless War”

    Prelude to war:

    It began in a time long-since forgotten, when Xanatos Reaver was given the impossible decision of choosing between humans and Demi Gods, on a day where the world looked set to come to an end. One race had to die, so that the other could live…

    And so it was with a heavy heart that Xanatos scarified his own race and condemned himself to exile, shame and grief destroying him body and soul. It would not be for countless years later when Xanatos would make some sort of return, in response to a threat posed by his brother, Nighthawk.

    Over the decades, the duo did battle across the lands, unable to end the other’s life. Even when Xanatos called upon what few allies of his remained, he could do little more than hinder Nighthawk’s plans…

    And so, a new course of action was needed.

    Rumours and whispers reached Xanatos’ ears of staunch warriors, powerful magicians and even stranger beings. The kind Xanatos would need if he was to take the fight to Nighthawk, who was already setting events in motion to end the world.

    After observing their skills first hand as they dealt with a demon invasion, Xanatos recruited them into his cause. Soldiers, swordsmen and even mechanical constructs fought alongside him, unaware that they were initially no more than pawns. But Xanatos soon remembered what it was like to have friends, allies and those you trusted, and he started to see them as more than a means to the end.

    Battling Nighthawk’s forces, they soon found the base of his operations. Storming the facility, the heroes confronted Nighthawk on the roof of the building. Although they managed to wound him, the traitorous Demi God was able to trap Xanatos and his companions in a world known only as Subspace…

    There, they found the true heart of Nighthawk’s operations. Protected by an immense fortress, an army of soldiers and beings too foul to describe, it was no better than a suicide mission. And yet, despite the odds, despite the dangers, they defeated all that stood before them and confronted and defeated Nighthawk in his throne room.

    Though not without tremendous sacrifice.

    The base was sent to its demise, and the group successfully managed to escape and return home. But just when Xanatos thought their journey was at an end, there was still one more battle to fight…

    Alpha. Aidan Samarost. Once Xanatos’ closest friend. But as they stood upon their world once more, Aidan proclaimed Xanatos had done nothing but brought terror to their world. He blamed the Demi Gods for the plights humanity now faced, and denounced Xanatos as a coward and a liar. The two did battle, though their fight was interrupted and Aidan managed to escape…

    It was here the war began. As for when it shall end, no one yet knows.

    Introduction:

    Welcome to Forum Wars II! Voted Punchwood’s (May it rest in peace) craziest roleplay back in 2012, this text-based game is chocked full of action, drama, romance and predictable plot twists! But whilst that forum may be dead, Forum Wars is still around to play.

    Our last adventure pitted us against Nighthawk, brother to everyone’s favourite Demi God. And whilst I did make an attempt at a ‘redux’ to restart the series anew, it didn’t feel right to me. As Al215 put it best, the old story is finished. The characters from Forum Wars have told their story, and now it’s time to move on and look to the future.

    So I hereby present the sequel/remake/Fantastic 4 of Forum Wars. You have the right to party.

    Rules:

    1. No overpowered characters. Each and every character must have some form of weakness.

    2. No power-gaming. Essentially, this is landing automatic hits or having the ability to dodge everything thrown at you. Although Forum Wars is home to some of the greatest warriors ever, they still get their butts kicked on a daily basis. Remember, losing is fun ;)

    3. No metagaming. This is knowing something you have no way of knowing, like one player whispering a secret to another with no one else around.

    4. No controlling other characters without the permission of their respective players. Don’t add yourself to the backstories of other players without their permission either.

    5. No drastically changing the scenario. An example of this would be summoning giant demons to destroy the planet or making a cup of coffee. We’re a tea only roleplay.

    6. There are no really limits to the characters you can make, however:

    a. Please try to make them original and not steal everything from a show or other series.

    b. If creating a Demi God character, they must be a descendant of either Xanatos or Nighthawk.

    c. Demi Gods are restricted to The Order of Hammer only. Even if they don’t always agree with what goes on, they cannot, under any circumstances, abandon their faction. Demi Gods stick together.

    d. You do not have to be a Demi God to join The Order of Hammer. In fact, I would prefer it if there aren’t too many Demi Gods.

    7. Please respect the roleplay owner (myself) and the roleplayer modifiers, and any changes we ask you to make.

    8. You may make a maximum of two characters.

    a. I may also allow players to occasionally make an evil character.

    9. Have fun!

    Storyline:

    The Forum Wars storyline works something like this:

    Beginning ---> Insert random stuff here ---> Final battle

    We have the beginning and we know where the story will end. However, it’s up to you guys to get us there. Every player helps influence the plot with their own decisions. Which bad guys do you go after? Who do you save from the jaws of death? Do you wear red or purple? All are important questions which could result in a happy ending, or a bad one.

    Know only this: each and every action has an equal and opposite reaction. You might believe to have done a good deed, only for it to come back and bite you in the rear end later. It’s like Telltale Games, except our choices matter.


    Backstory:

    Cuz who doesn’t love a good backstory?

    Whilst the plot will mainly be explained throughout the roleplay, I will be giving you a bit of background here.

    Around one hundred and fifty years after the Nighthawk incident and the duel between the Demi God Xanatos Reaver and Aidan Samarost, the world has changed. Aidan has died and Xanatos has disappeared but their legacies survive. The Shards of Hope, supporters of Aidan Samarost, have followed in his footsteps and declared war on the Demi Gods. Meanwhile the surviving Demi Gods have rallied and fight alongside humans to protect their species. This bitter war has raged on for many years and for the moment, shows no signs of stopping.

    Up until this point, the war had been incredibly balanced, with both sides winning and losing their fair share of battles. However, with the continual loss of Demi Gods and the flock of support to the Shards of Hope, Jaden Samarost and his forces look set to deliver a finishing blow to the Order of the Hammer…

    Of course, all that may change with a new threat lurking on the horizon.


    Factions:

    There are two major factions vying for power here. The Order of the Hammer and The Shards of Hope.

    Order of the Hammer:

    Led by what few Demi Gods remain, the Order of the Hammer is dedicated to the worship of these beings. Those who join the Order must swear to uphold justice and truth above all else, and to help maintain the power of the Demi Gods within the realm.

    The Order of the Hammer is currently led by Jayce, son of Xanatos. Although skilled for his age, he’s still considered immature by many and must find a way to prove himself if he’s to earn the respect that his father once commanded. If the Order of the Hammer truly is to survive what is to come, then its warriors must find a way to gather their forces and to shatter the Shards once and for all.

    Those who join the Order of the Hammer will have the chance to fight alongside the Demi Gods. Despite these powerful allies, their numbers have dwindled in comparison to The Shards of Hope.

    The Shards of Hope:

    The Shards of Hope are the increasingly popular opposition group to the Order of the Hammer. Denying the sanctity of the Demi Gods, they aim to tear down their legacy and destroy them for the sins they have committed. According to the book written by their unintentional founder Aidan Samarost, the Demi Gods once upon a time attempted to wipe out all of humanity, but were destroyed by a civil war. They wish to stop these divine beings from attempting the same again.

    They are led by the current Inheritor (Commander's Title) Jaden Samarost, the latest in the line of Aidan's descendants. He is considered one of the worthiest successors, upholding much of the same values as Aidan and being a more capable tactician and strategist, if a weaker fighter. Commanding the respect of The Shards of Hope, Jaden has the momentum behind him to see the war to its finish.

    Those who fight alongside The Shards of Hope will fight for the future of humanity and their right to survive, and for the lives that have been lost. The Shards are growing numerous and with their popularity increasing with their every success, victory seems to be drawing ever closer.

    As I’ve said before, the sky is really the limit. Come up with whatever crazy, imaginative persona you can. Fantasy and sci-fi are both allowed! All we ask is that you keep your dudes reasonably powered. There will be plenty of time to learn new abilities throughout the story. Give them the chance to become battle-hardened.

    Name: Jayce Reaver​

    Title: None, though his friends affectionately call him Kiddo.

    Faction: The Order of Hammer, Leader

    Age: Difficult to say. Jayce has the appearance of a 19 to 20 year-old, although he is older. It’s worth noting that he ages at a faster rate than his father.

    Gender: Male.

    Description: Jayce stands at a moderate 5’8, and possesses a much thinner build than his father. His hair is stained shadowy and his eyes flash gold. Like this.

    Personality: Like his father, Jayce has a great deal of trouble managing his emotions. This has only worsened due to his upbringing. Although in calm situations he has no trouble keeping his head, the effects of a prolonged battle have known to have serious effects on Jayce.

    Weapons: Jayce carries a scythe. Forged from Skymetal and Mindsteel, it is both light and possesses several enchantments to dish out damage. He’s also in possession of a 9mm handgun inherited from his father, which has been enchanted to fire magical bullets. Both weapons can cause a fair amount of damage on their own, but can easily be enhanced by some of Jayce’s magical abilities.

    Armour: Jayce isn’t one for wearing heavy armour, as it hinders his speed. He instead wears a long black coat with a few simple enchantments to resist damage. Cliché? Sure. But awesome all the same.

    Abilities:

    Passive:

    · Level 5 Immortality – This grants Jayce limited powers of regeneration. Scratches and bruises heal in a few minutes and broken bones in a week or two. This also extends to lost limbs, which can regenerate within a month or so. Much slower in combat.

    · Soul Perception –Jayce can vaguely sense nearby targets, allowing him to anticipate their moves and location. He also has a somewhat limited understanding of his target’s power. At any moment in time, Jayce can activate the power to focus on a single target, giving him a much more accurate look at their strength.

    · Demi God – Jayce is naturally stronger, faster and more intelligent than most humans. He’s also incredibly resistant to toxins and poisons.

    · Ancient Seals – Not so much as an aid, rather a hindrance. Jayce’s true powers have been sealed by Xanatos for unknown reason, making him only slightly more powerful than humans. In certain situations, Jayce can release these seals to grant him additional powers. In total, there are seven seals.

    Active:

    · Demi God Technique – Lightning Splitter – An ability inherited from his father, Jayce can summon a burst of lightning, capable of badly injuring foes.

    · Demi God Technique – Reaper – Jayce’s scythe is infused with magic, extending the length of the blade and charging it to deal additional damage. Can be used for several swings before disappearing.

    · Demi God Technique – Scatter Shot – Jayce fires his 9mm with incredible speed and precision, covering a wide arc with magical bullets.

    · Demi God Technique – Many-faced Illusions – Based on powers inherited from his mother, Jayce has the ability to create up to two identical clones. The ability starts by generating a cloud of smoke, which soon dissipates to reveal Jayce and the two clones. In its weakest form, these clones are nothing more than illusions. However, should Jayce decide to spend more energy, the clones are able to physically interact with the world and even use Jayce’s abilities. Despite this, they can only take one hit before being destroyed.

    · Demi God Technique – Arm Shield – A fairly simple spell of Jayce’s design, which allows him to summon a barrier wielded over his arm. The shield can take a few hits before breaking. Once the shield is broken, there is a cooldown before it can be used again.

    · Demi God Technique – Soul Blast – Final Strike - Drawing energy from the ancient gods themselves, Jayce can fire off an incredibly destructive energy beam to cause serious harm to his enemies. One use per battle.

    Strengths: Jayce was trained in Demi God Taijutsu by Xanatos, who was a master of the art. Although he’s yet to reach his father’s level, Jayce is still a formidable hand-to-hand opponent. Furthermore, he possesses speed and agility far beyond that of even the fastest human.

    Weaknesses: Although Jayce is a Demi God, he doesn’t come close to rivalling the strength his father possessed. He’s not nearly as durable, and relies heavily on his speed to help him avoid getting hit. Furthermore, Jayce also suffers from the same problem as his father: a lack of control over his emotions. Finally, Jayce’s true powers have been sealed, preventing him from using the full array of abilities and skills granted to Demi Gods.

    History: Like his father, Jayce tends to keep his history in the dark. What is known that he is the son of Xanatos and Sport Reaver. From a young age, Xanatos began training Jayce to prepare him for his role as the protector of the world. However, the arrival of The Endless War forced Jayce to mature quickly. From the young age of 12, he was sent on many missions to hasten the destruction of The Shards of Hope. More than once, he was placed into grave danger and suffered many a serious injury because of it.

    Then, at the age of 15, Jayce was left alone as Xanatos left the world to deal with a ‘much greater evil’. This placed Jayce at the head of the Order of Hammer. Despite his best efforts to lead the organization, their numbers have only dwindled, whilst those of The Shards of Hope have soared.

    Other: Over the course of the story, Jayce will release the seals placed upon him by his father, allowing him to access new abilities. This will only happen when other characters have gained additional powers and strengths. Jayce cannot learn new abilities on his own. Eventually, he will take his place as Xanatos’ heir and become a full Demi God.

    Current situation in the roleplay:

    Battle for Sky Tower:

    Sky Tower is considered to be of prime, strategic importance. This citadel houses powerful defences, capable of destroying most aircraft. It borders on the Northern Shores of Arkan, controlling the flow of air forces attempting to enter the realm. For the past few weeks, the Shards of Hope have prevented several squadrons of airships from reaching the Order of the Hammer.

    Jayce Reaver hopes to bring in reinforcements to his cause by taking control of Sky Tower and allowing several airships to reach his position. As of this moment, the young Demi God prepares to leave his forces against the tower, planning to sneak a team inside whilst the two armies do battle outside.

    Should Jayce succeed, he can remove the pressure currently placed on his armies and win some much needed support for the Order. Failure however will only bring him ever closer to defeat…

    For the moment, the battle swings heavily in the Order's favour. Jayce's team has successfully breached the tower and are ready to confront Carissa Samarost, the one leading the occupants at Sky Tower. Will the Order succeed? Or will they fall after coming so far?​

    Personality: Outspoken and cynical with a dry sense of humour, Kalak is not afraid to speak what he thinks regardless of how rude it might be considered. He has no problem with admitting his faults and likewise has no restraint in pointing out the faults of others. Behind the attitude, there is a certain grim demeanour to him and if one paid attention, they’d see the hardened glare of a doomed man on his face.

    Black and White, his two counterparts have personalities that are pushed upon him. White encourages his softer side and his protective instincts. He becomes kinder, but also sadder. He knows that no matter what, that this is not the real him and at the end of the day he is doomed to die and be consumed. When possessed by White, he aims to do as much as he can before he dies. Black on the other hand, is violent and more impulsive. He is quicker to anger and far ruder than normal. When fighting gives into berserker instincts.

    Weapons: Kalak carries a Zweihander named Duskfall. The hilt of the weapon has a black and white design spiralling up, which splits off on to the two flat sides of the pointed blade. One side in black, and the other white with a circle of the opposite colour inscribed in the middle. The interior of the circle is coloured the same red as his eyes. Perhaps more importantly, the weapon is cursed – Namely, it carries a personality of its own. As the colouring might suggest, it is fickle in its alignment but both sides agree on one thing: That killing solves all problems. Touching Duskfall is a poor decision, given that the individual shall hear the voices of Black and White, the twin personalities of the spirit of the weapon.

    Armour: The armour he wears is formed out of the shadow that has infected him as a way of keeping himself alive as healing is not an option. Kalak has controlled it to form a set of armour that covers up to his neck, to hide what is happening to the rest of him. The armour can be dispelled and reformed into more normal clothing however he seldom does this. This so called shadow makes him resistant to inherently dark magical attacks. The armour is black with red and silver highlights.

    Abilities:

    Passive:

    · Shadow Corruption – Kalak was infected with a form of dark magic that takes a symbiotic form, to an extent. Kalak will be able to harness the Shadow’s power at the cost of having it slowly consume him. As he becomes consumed by the shadow he begins to be inclined to use it more and further the spread throughout his body. The greater the shadow’s influence is, the more he is aligned with darkness with obvious connotations. Kalak starts at 10% corruption rating to show the influence it already has.

    • Demi God – Kalak is naturally stronger, faster and more intelligent than most humans. He has a greater resistance to poisons and toxins than humans.

    • Level 5 Immortality – This grants Kalak limited powers of regeneration. Scratches and bruises heal in a few minutes and broken bones in a week or two. This also extends to lost limbs, which can regenerate within a month or so. Much slower in combat. Regenerated injuries are shadow corrupted, deepening its hold over him.

    · Presence Detection 1 – Kalak can detect sources of otherworldly corruption and power similar to his own.

    Active:

    · Unlimited Shadow Drive: Kalak’s ultimate spell. By completely giving into and being consumed by the shadow within, Kalak can use the remaining untapped willpower to control himself and the Shadow for a brief time while fully unleashing its power. He speculates that the highest form of this is creating a temporary dimension where he has total control, though this is a theory. Other uses involve intense modification to himself in the real world that puts him at a level above other beings. + 100% Corruption Rating.

    · Black Chakram: This spell creates a whirling metal disk that strikes the foes around him. + 2% Corruption Rating

    · Incarnate Duality: Kalak allows one aspect of the curse to take over. White places a greater emphasis on defending. Black abandons defence and goes for straight offence. While massively improving offensive potential, is likely to get wounded. +5% Corruption Rating.

    · Shadow Lance: Shoots a Shadow Lance at a foe at high speed. Excellent armour penetration capabilities. Single target. + 1% Corruption Rating

    · Shadow Forge: Creates a weapon made of a similar material to Duskfall he carries. Used as a support weapon and fades away after the battle. Can make a permanent weapon if so desired + 0.5% Corruption Rating/+1.5% Corruption Rating

    Strengths: Melee combat and midrange fighting with magic. Fairly perceptive. Has a reasonably good understanding of the history of the Demi-Gods from Black and White.

    Weaknesses: Is constantly harassed by a cursed weapon, leading him to make decisions against his will, the greater the corruption the more he will use his powers as the shadow compels him, corruption and therefore he is damaged by directly ‘Light’ based magic. Cannot be healed by magic. If he is, the Corruption Rating is increased proportionally to the healing magic received.

    History: Kalak Vasher, formerly Kalak Reaver is the son of Jayce’s presently deceased sister. Kalak was a fairly happy, energetic and easy child. He was quickly hypnotised by the stories of his grandfather, Xanatos and his adventures. The history of his people, the grandeur that they once held, and their majesty captured his imagination. Exploring the past however, was not encouraged yet because of the rising hostilities between humans and Demi-Gods. Kalak paid heed to the advice and settled for something different.

    From his early life to leaving two months ago, Kalak was a blacksmith. He forged weapons for the Order of the Hammer. In the meantime, he also ensured to put in plenty of training but felt that a Demi-God’s hand in the creation of weapons might be something that could help to turn the tide. As he forged his weapons, he began to imbue magic into his blades, strengthening them and enhancing them. He worked tirelessly, day after day forging weapons. To this day, his weapons can still be found in use because of their quality, recognisable by the likeness of a Stork imprinted on to the weapon. Balanced out with his training with other Demi-Gods and the strength gained from his time in the forge, Kalak was shaping up to be a fine warrior when he eventually decided to step out on to the battlefield.

    The death of his mother left him grieved and something changed in him a bit. The blacksmith looked beyond his forge and began to trace through the histories that they had available on the Demi-Gods, seeking something. Perhaps a tool they could use for vengeance, perhaps a way to bring her back or even inspiration to fight. Eventually, Kalak Reaver was satisfied and closed up shop, heading out to explore and find a weapon out there.

    Kalak’s journey led him somewhere some distance away. Using old stories and the help of some researchers, he came up with a vague theory as to where some artifact may have been. He set out for it, hoping that it would be something that would help them change the tide of the war. What Kalak found however, was not what he had expected. After unravelling locks, traps and magic seals, the new age Demi-God made his way into the vault that they had created. He was concerned, considering the strength of the seals that locked away that item.

    What he found was a weapon. He recognised it as a Zweihander. Eagerly, Kalak approached and claimed it from the slot it held in the floor, but upon doing so, his life was irrevocably changed. Immediately, the entity that was sealed in the weapon lashed out and stuck his defenceless mind. He was only just about able to shield his soul and preserve his sanity. However, whatever it was took up residence in his body and managed to worm its way into his mind. His magic was overtaken and his seals of power were ruined.

    He soon found himself under attack from the guardians of the vault. He fought hard against the security measures that were implemented against someone taking the weapon. As he attempted to use his magic to defend himself, he found it completely different.

    After trying to use magic to defend himself, he found that it only furthered the corruption. An attempt at healing a wound he had received only deepened the connection that the corruption was able to form with him. Since healing an injury was out of the question, he formed the armour as a way of protecting himself. His natural regenerative powers began to work against him as the corruption spread through the regenerated wounds. He has wandered since and reluctantly returned to the society of the Demi-Gods where those who have detected his state shun him and others see him as a curiosity. The worst believe that he must be purged as that corruption is a threat to them all. He changed his last name from Reaver to Vasher, believing that as a result of what had happened to him, he was unworthy of bearing the name. On reflection, Kalak speculated that this might have been the result of the spirit's influence.

    Title: The Huntress

    Faction: The Shards of Hope

    Gender: Female

    Description: This

    Personality: Carissa is a merciless hunter. She is dedicated to the cause of the Shards. It is said that her fervour is only a little short of Aidan himself. Commanding and confident, she does not suffer fools easily and will refuse to have their mission endangered. She cares for the Samarost family as they are her kin, but most others are considered expendable unless they have proved themselves worthy. She would consider herself worthy of people’s respect and admiration, but not love.

    Weapons: Carissa’s primary weapon and ace is her crossbow. Loaded with various different kinds of ammunition (Detailed in Active Abilities) it is a deadly tool in her hands. Even without that ammunition, she’s an excellent shot. The weapon has received several modifications as well, allowing it to rapidly reloaded, containing a makeshift revolving magazine and to have greater projectile speed. Furthermore, she carries a twin pair of knives for when the battle gets up close and personal. These are forged with a magical suppression charge in them, allowing her blades to pierce low to medium strength magical defences and disrupt magically enhanced weapons.

    Armour: Carissa’s armour is enchanted with similar Magic Suppression to her crossbow bolts. While allowing her to stay alive better when fighting the magically potent Demi-Gods, it also has the issue of not allowing her to be healed or magically protected without taking that armour off. It is fairly light armour, allowing her to remain agile in combat.

    Abilities:

    Passive:

    · Magic Protection – The enchantments that Carissa has overlaid her armour with grant her a decent amount of Magic Suppression. All kinds of magic are less effective against her, including healing and other protection magic. While an obvious problem for her, she follows the idea of the best protection not being hit anyway.

    · Bolt Creation – Carissa can make her bolts and replace them in the field after a battle. This allows her to keep in supply. These can be replaced between battle at a rate of 4 for a short period, 6 for a medium and 10 for a long period. Only one Immuno-Collapse bolt can be created per replacement.

    Active:

    · Enchantment – Carissa has, with study and a lot of experimentation, learned to do some enchantments of her own variety. Her enchantments are based on crippling Demi-Gods and in the process, magic users. She is able to apply magic suppression and other assorted types of enchantments to help her with that task.

    · Magic Suppression Bolt - Does what it says on the tin. This bolt when it hits the target reduces their ability to cast magic and equally, resist it. This is particularly problematic for Demi-Gods and mages alike. Can hold a max of 4.

    · Paralysis Bolt – This bolt acts like a toxin, sending a signal that slows down nervous system functioning and can potentially even outright shut it down. It is ineffective against anyone with a high toxin resistance. Can hold a max of 6.

    · Immuno-Collapse Bolt – This is arguably her most advanced tool. Only possessing a limited number due to the difficulty of making them, these are potent enough to weaken a Demi-God’s toxin and poison resistance for some time. These are naturally her trump cards, rarely used. Can hold a max of 2.

    · Amour Piercing and Anti-Personnel Bolts – These bolts, unlike the others, are not enchanted but simply forged differently. These give her the ability to tackle a wide range of opponents. Can hold 8 of each.

    · Explosive Bolts – These bolts contain an explosive charge that detonates upon impact. These have enough strength to blast a hole large enough to crawl through into a stone wall. They are not designed for use against people, but if someone was to be hit then it would be damaging. Can hold a max of 4.

    · Mind of the Killer – More of a technique than a magical ability, Carissa, like the other Blackshards was taught to enter a similar emotionally dead state to Aidan Samarost when she wishes to. While increasing her combat potential, it also blinds her to the needs of the people around her more so than she already is. It also means that any ally rapidly intervening near her that she hasn’t kept track of may become a target.

    Strengths: Carissa is fast and a skilled marksman. She’s fairly stealthy, but she’s not the best close up fighter. She is the foremost Demi-God hunter in the Shards of Hope. She is knowledgeable about their fighting style, tactics and their abilities.

    Weaknesses: Carissa is not famous for her close up fighting however and her knives are mostly last resort. While capable (As to be expected from a high ranking Blackshard) she is not the best melee fighter in their cadre. Furthermore, while her armour gives her decent protection against magic if she is hit, it won’t protect her much. She can be callous towards people as a result of her singlemindedness when it comes to Demi-Gods, meaning that she may expend lives, nor does she expect to be disobeyed. Her attitude therefore may lead to conflicts.

    History: Carissa Samarost is the younger cousin of Jaden Samarost, the current Inheritor. Her relation comes from her father, Corwyn Samarost who is married to her mother, Anette Samarost. Between the two of them, she was raised more happily and less strictly than Jaden was. However, she found herself admiring the way that her elder cousin took to the family role in the Shards of Hope and began to direct her energies towards that as well, much to the surprise of everyone.

    After being refused the sword, she took up archery instead and began to do well. As she got older, she was allowed into the Shards’ armoury where she found herself a crossbow. Satisfied with the way the weapon handled and how consistent it was, she decided that she merely needed to modify the weapon to improve it. Working with the more innovative people within the Shards of Hope, her own customised crossbow was created as an experiment. Faster to fire and reload, and even more powerful than most weapons, she was naturally proud of it. But she wasn’t ready yet.

    Ever since the age of twelve she had begun her grilling training regime under the guidance of her Uncle, Jaden’s father. She ramped up the training at the age of 17 once the crossbow was complete. She gave no time for romance, and little more for other people, instead preferring to hone the art of killing. Working with the Blackshards gave her a great deal of experience with some of Sarn’s greatest warriors. She was completely dedicated to the path of the warrior.

    Eventually she was ready to head out into the world to fight the war. Carissa favoured small operations with a team of people that she knew were competent, targeting individual Demi-Gods and dispatching them swiftly and hopefully, silently. However, one such operation went wrong and led to the loss of most of a team when the Demi-God in question proved to be more trouble than anticipated. Her squad was not lost for naught however, for he was injured and less capable of fighting. Carissa was able to outmanoeuvre and kill the Demi-God eventually, but with considerable difficulty. When she returned, she began to explore options for enchantments and ways of cancelling out Demi-God advantages.

    That research has led her to have the tools she uses today. After several successful field tests, Carissa has learned how to produce those enchantments herself so that if necessary, she can remake them in the field.

    Description: Ransak Is a small and wiry man with dusty brown hair and tanned skin, he is often covered with grime and his hair is always scruffy. His eyes are a piercing blue that seem to look beyond first appearances. Ran is dressed in a confusing medley of claimed clothing and jewelry that he has discovered or stolen, but under all these colourful cloaks and bling he is wearing brown rags. All his clothes are very dirty as he spends a lot of time in the wilderness or dusty old ruins.

    Personality: Ran Is a very curious man, always interested in discovering secrets and hidden things. Whenever he meets somebody new he seems to size them up at a glance and analyse everything about them, almost as if he's trying to put a price to them. Ran often trades his various finds and so has become excellent at appraising items, and people, and will often try to put a price to anything, even if he doesn't own it. A greedy man, Ran will always want what he doesn't have and will often attempt to steal these things or trick others into giving them to him. Some things though Ran will never trade, some things are priceless. These are things that Ransak will try to claim by any means and will hoard once he does have them. The rarer the item, the more he wants it.

    Weapons: Ran is not a fan of fighting but he does carry a quarterstaff and is relatively good at using it, not an expert though.

    History: Ransak grew up on slums in a poor town, determined to make something of himself he began to get into trading and learned how to price and value things well. However one time, after escaping from some people he'd swindled he accidentally found himself in an ancient ruin and found great treasures. This led him onto a path of discovering valuable items and selling them, or if they were rare enough, keeping them. Ran is often hired to find and acquire items due to his skills.

    I'll handle this sir: If his master is sufficiently harmed, Timothy goes into OVERDRIVE mode, whereupon he gains a massive amount of armour and his punches electrocute enemies, he also grows to 12 ft tall, becomes quite strong and his tea becomes just incredible. However while in this mode Timothy will attempt to return to his master no matter what and once there cannot move more than a few meters away from his master.

    Strengths:
    Timothy is strong. He also never tires due to his mechanical nature and does not require food or sleep.

    Weaknesses:
    Timothy is not terribly smart. In fact he cannot think for himself and has to follow the commands of his master, he can also be incredibly overzealously protective of his master, to the point where it just becomes annoying. Also because he is partly electronic he is vulnerable to electricity.

    History:
    A while ago a magical technician built for himself a robotic butler to suit his needs and named it Timothy, but the man was only mortal and the butler would live forever. After the man died Timothy lost his purpose and is now looking for a new master to serve.

    Theodosia was born to a minister, and her mother was a genius writer. Her father died closely to his mother, leaving her as an orphan. They left her well off and because of their old money they were safe in the higher class. She was admitted into a college where she was educated. When a young clergyman published a series of pamphlets promoting Order of the Hammer, Theodosia was interested right away, and pleaded that she could be helpful as an assistant to the highest commander. She handles intelligence, tatics, strategy, giving out orders, diplomacy, negotiations, as well as public speaking and battling. With her magic is able to create binding contracts.

    Born in the ruling family of the Andaran tribe awaiting him was a life of making sure their ways would continue to exist. At a young age he was educated in the ways of his people including the Andaran lore. He was taught as his father before him how to perform the rituals of old, how to cure ailments through the use of herbs and salves and the ways of the Andaran fighters, for a ruler should help support his people as much as his people support him. He showed an ability to quickly learn the new skills and absorb the knowledge of the lore. After Varraki took his final test to succeed his father, he went through every village of the Andaran Highlands to help and hear his people. He ruled peacefully for several years, steering clear of the conflict between the Hammers and the Shards. Eventually an envoy from the Hammers came to ask the Andaran tribes to join their side in the conflict. When the Andaran Prince refused saying he wanted no part in it, the situation quickly deteriorated. The envoy and his escort drew their weapons and a firefight ensued in which several unarmed bystanders were killed. After it all was sorted, the wounded stabilised and taken care of, the Prince took his weapons and set out to fulfill what the code demanded. The blood of people allied to those who acted, though the Code was clear, only combatants could be targeted. The Prince set out on the path stalking an army of the Hammers waiting for an opportune time to strike. The armies lead him further away from the Andaran Highlands to the construct known as Sky Tower. When the price is paid he intended to return home.

    Strengths: She is stealthy and strong. She is very task oriented and does not question authority.
    Weaknesses: Rose doesn't tend to think for herself and acts only on what she is told. She is also a bit irrational at times and doesn't quite fully think things through before she does them. Doesn't think of the consequences.
    History: Rose was born to a happy family, she had both parents around still and a twin brother that she loved to play with. When she was eight however, things took a turn for the worst in her family. You see her parents had different beliefs on which side was correct, but they believed they could put their differences aside for the sake of love. This however couldn't last forever, when push came to shove and Rose's mom wanted to return to the Order of the Hammer, something her father had been a part of many years before, it cause conflict. It wasn't long after the fighting started that Rose's parents split ways, her mother taking her with her, and her father gaining custody of her brother.

    From age eight onward Rose was raised inside the Order of the Hammer, her mother taking a servant kind of role. Rose's mother was always a fairly gentle soul so the way she chose to be of service to the Order was basically do whatever they asked of her within in. She wouldn't kill or hurt people but she would serve in any way she could, never refusing to do anything no matter how bad it was.

    Rose on the other had grew up with a sword in each hand, learning to be a killer. She thought her mother weak for her role, just a damn slave to the Order, and that she was stronger than that. However Rose grew up to be a slave in her own aspects. She was a slave to blood and war, but more than that she was a slave to power. Rose cut and slaughtered her way up the ranks and the closer she got to the top the more desperate she became to prove herself. No longer did she only rely on her ability with a sword to impress the higher ups, especially Jayce. She began to use any means necessary. She became as much of a servant to them as her mother, just a much more deadly one. She would do whatever those above her asked even if it was company for the night. If it got her in their good books she would do it. However when it came to those below her, she could care less. She would kill them if she had to or leave them to die, they meant nothing to her at all.
    Other: Rose is related and remembers her brother Aster, but does not hold him in high regards in the slightest.

    Strengths: Aster has good leadership skills. He is a powerful warrior. He was also trained in political and business knowledge thanks to his father.
    Weaknesses: He is arrogant. He hates to lose and won't give up on things even if it was time for him to back off.
    History: Being Rose's brother, Aster shared the same beginnings right up until their parents split. While Rose and their mother went straight to The Order of the Hammer, Aster and his father remained a neutral party a while longer. Instead of siding with anyone side, his father decided to make it a business. Long before the split his father was already a pretty well known business person, and now with him free to go where he pleased, he took his son and began to travel the continent, selling, trading and making business deals, quickly growing his wealth.


    On their travels Aster began to pick up various skills. He was taught how to fight with a sword in one town, a lance in another. In various places he was taught small shards of magic. He took whatever he learned and put it to good use on the road. He traveled like this till he was eighteen, then his father grew so rich that they settled down into a large estate where he spent a year learning to act like the noble he had now become, and perhaps he took that a little too far. By the age of twenty his father shipped him off to help the Shards of Hope, in whatever way he could, while of course providing him with a sizable allowance for the service he was doing.
    Other: He is older than Rose by eight minutes and takes great pride in that.

    Personality:
    Ien is the kind of person who seems to always be calm, collected and composed. Always seeming to be completely calm and steel faced in the face of danger, Ien is someone who is always in a serious mood. Someone who seems to be very mission minded, yet an honorable fellow all the while. In truth though, she has zero idea how to actually be social with others, and is somewhat awkward/unable to easily converse with others on a casual level.
    Weapons:
    • Raikiri: A simple katana, made of a metal known to some as Unobtanium. It's has no real special purpose other than being extremely durable, and sharp, being a blade that does not give under stress and can cut through things most blades could only dream about...if swords dreamed. It can be noted that the blade can be used to cut lightning, but this is purely speculation and more so praise from its wielder than anything actually factual. The sheath of Raikiri is equally durable/hard, if not more so than the sword it contains.
    Armour:
    • Clothing: Ien wears clothing, and that is good armor against sunlight, insects, cold, an unwanted gazes. That's right, it protects her from the sunburn that can happen from overexposure to sunlight, and keeps her warm enough on days that aren't even that cold to begin with. In relation to combat prowess, it's light and doesn't get in the way. It can also block a blade, but if a sword were to strike it, it would stop it for less than an actually measurable amount of time before being split like any other average article of clothing and would become worthless in any terms of defense. After all, it's just ordinary clothing.
    -Passives:
    • Lightning Resistance: Ien posses an abnormal resistance to electricity. Whereas a normal lightning bolt would be enough to kill someone, she's basically unfazed by it. This ability, while something that she innately has, somehow extends to her clothing, keeping them from being destroyed when they otherwise should be, at least by electrical attacks.
    • Steadfast: Ien is able to keep herself rooted in a single position, not pudging from otherwise large forces that would push others back.
    -Actives:
    • Lightning Charge: Someone with the ability to imbue things that she touches with lightning. Like, she electrifies her hands, which then carries over to whatever she touches, whether it be a blade, or a fence or a rubber ball. The latter of which is pretty uninteresting to watch be electrified though.
    • Shippu Jirai: The user electrifies a section of their body, granting them a burst of speed in that section. Like charging one's legs to increase movement speed, or arms to increase striking/drawing speed of their blade. However, doing this places a larger amount of stress on her body.
    Strengths: Exceptional swordsman, exceptional at one on one combat, electricity.
    Weaknesses: Ranged combat, the element of earth, social awkwardness
    History:
    Ien is someone who has already been fascinated with myth's, legends, and old stories. One such legend is that of the legend of storm king. The legend of a being who was a prolific, if not unrivaled, swordsman who had the power of tempest gales and brilliant lightning at his finger tips. A man who was so powerful that none could possibly stand up to them, and as such, constantly looked for someone to match him and surpass him. Of course, the rest of the myth is lost to time, as Ien never found out the ending to it, however, she took this legend as something to aspire to. As such, for the entirety of her life, she dedicated her existence to becoming the newest Storm King. This came in the forms of learning swordplay, finding an amazing sword of awesomeness, and all other things needed to be one such being.

    Of course, among her legend hunting, she found the story of Aidan and Xanatos. It seemed to be one that ended in a very inconclusive way, like most stories, though this one was different in a very interesting way. It was real. And it was still going on. From just every story that Ien had read, the demigods had seen like none too nice fellows, and furthermore, the Xanatos fellow himself seemed to somewhat resemble a wannabe Thor Storm King himself. As such, it was only natural that Ien would join the shards of hope and defeat the demigod scourge once and for all.

    He's got a bit of a sense of apathy about him, acting none too surprised at most things. He's a nice guy at heart, though, and generally tries to do what he thinks is right...he's just also kind of a dick.
    Weapons:
    • A weapon that all men and women posses innately. One that is with all of us, and we are all born with. One that is exclusive to none...unless you don't have hands. That's right, I'm talking about...his fists. I suppose the rest of his body qualifies as a weapon as well, but he's more a punchy kind of guy then anything else.
    Armour:
    • Quite to Skyheart standard, Lucien does not posses any actual armor. However, due to his demonic heritage, his skin unnaturally tough, acting as if it were more so some form of scale than actual skin.
    Abilities (passive and active):

    • Fire resistance: Once more, due to his demonic heritage, Lucien is someone who is pretty good at dealing with heat. This of course extends to fire, giving him a somewhat supernatural resistance to fire. This, of course, extends to his clothing.
    • Concept Shattering Strength: Lucien's physical strength is so ridiculous that he can ignore certain laws and properties that would otherwise apply. The only example to give at the moment is that spirits are normally incorporeal beings that physical things just pass through...this does not apply to Lucien's fists.
    Actives
    • Punch: Lucien has the interesting ability to clench his fist, reel back his arm, and then strike forward with it at a target, dealing immense damage to any person who gets hit by the fist. This is no different than a normal punch in literally anyway.

    History:
    A long long time ago, like 3 years or something, there existed a roleplay known as Forum Wars II. It was one that was a sequel to an RP that had accomplished the near impossible. Which was coming to an actual end. During this time, a young half demon had come into existence. One who had been given the label as a fourth wall breaker, (for some reason,) and one who had also been only been known for board games or something. This was, of course, Lucien. However, going only off the hype and fame of Forum Wars I, like most sequels, Forum Wars II had come to a full stop after a full slew of issues and loss of hype. During this time, Lucien had moved on from Punchwood, and found himself a new home. During this time, however, he had heard from an old friend of his that a reboot of the Forum Wars II saga had come about, but due to forum issues and similar issues to the first sequel, that too had come to a full stop as well.

    And so here he was again. Feeling a bit nostalgic at the sight of his birthplace being reborn once more, and so, decided to see if he could go and help the world out. Of course, because Ien had already been a member of the Shards of Hope, Lucien naturally had to join the opposite side. Though his choice was completely superficial, he figured he'd go along as a member of their side until something had caused the faction war to end. One could only hope to god it wasn't the Covenant again.

    While Aspen may seem like she’s got it all figured out, she’s actually somewhat insecure. Sure she’s friends with everyone, but that's just the problem: she's just friends. Aspen doesn’t have a best friend. She doesn’t really have anyone that she is super close too. Most people just know the surface level Aspen, the girl who jokes around and loves to poke fun at others. They don’t know about her past because frankly she doesn’t feel comfortable talking about it. They don’t know about how she has trouble sleeping at night because she feels irrelevant to everyone. Deep down, Aspen is longing for someone to truly want to get to know the real her and make her feel comfortable with herself and all her secrets.

    Weapons: Although Aspen is only average height, she makes up for it with strength. The element of surprise aids her fighting skills greatly because she is an incredible short range fighter. She is at her best in melee combat, with a pair of jeweled daggers at her wrists. Also fights well with a bow and arrow, but she definitely prefers hand to hand combat.

    Armor: A black cloak thingy idk look at the pictures. It's kind of like a skin tight jumpsuit thing but either way she looks badass in it.

    Strength and Stamina Boost: Aspen is incredibly gifted in athletics. Her physical strength and endurance is much higher than the average person.
    Night Vision: Aspen's eyes are enhanced to be able to see perfectly fine in dim light and even total darkness
    Fire/Heat Immunity: Cannot be hurt by fire or intense heat

    Active:
    Shapeshifting: Aspen has the ability to shapeshift into any animal she can think of in a matter of seconds. The longer she is in the animal form, she slowly becomes weaker.
    Fire Creation and Control: With the flick of her wrist, a small ball of fire can appear in her hand. Aspen can use this fire as a weapon by throwing it, blasting it, even creating a sort of fire shield around her.

    -Fear of open water: Ever since her brother drowned, Aspen is weary of being around large bodies of warer.
    -Selfish Nature: When things get bad, Aspen tends to lean towards protecting herself and herself only because she thinks that everyone else is going to do the same.
    -Fear of Alcohol: She has seen what it can do it people and gets scared around it
    -Self-isolated: Aspen has this weird mindset that no one will ever get close to her and get to know her well and even though she really wants someone to, she acts like she doesn't need anyone.

    History:
    Aspen and her twin brother Jasper were born to two very happy parents who lived in a normal magic people town. As the two grew up, they learned basic magic skills and how to control them. The two siblings were inseparable; they were rarely seen without the other right by their side. Although the two had other friends, no others even came close to sharing the bond between the twins. Unfortunately, their world was shattered. The twins were 16 when tragedy struck. Aspen and Jasper were at the lake, helping Jasper improve his water controlling skills. She doesn't remember much about what happened or how it happened, but all Aspen knows is that Jasper went down and never came back up. He had been training himself to hold his breath underwater for extended periods of time and Aspen never really thought much when he stayed under for 10 minutes, and then 20 minutes, and then 30 minutes. The timer was at 53 minutes when she finally got concerned. After an hour and twenty minutes, Aspen dove in and found her brother at the bottom of the lake, dead.

    The next few years were kind of a blur. Aspen graduated from her academy with one of the highest academic honors, won the school's co-ed martial arts tournament, even dated a boy that she really liked, but everything just felt wrong. Jasper should have been there. There was nothing left for her in that life without him, it was just empty. So, Aspen left. One backpack, one handwritten note to her parents, one week after graduation, she left.

    It's been two years since. Aspen lives in a different town and has new friends to laugh with and spend time with. None of them know about her past, but she prefers to keep it that way. Life is good--well, sorta. That same feeling of living an empty life is creeping back into Aspen's mind, just itching for her to find something that will make her life worthwhile.

She's forgotten her social skills, her friends, her entire life, but that doesn't really matter to her. Right now she just wants to find her next meal.

    Abilities (passive and active): Passive - Night vision - due to his Kilronar blood, Vincent can see in the dark to a limited extent, though not as well as a full Kilronar.
    Active - Hacking - Vincent can hack into most computer networks and has a PDA to help him do this.

    Weaknesses: Physical strength, melee weapon skills, social interaction
    History: Vincent's parents met when his father, a Kilronar pilot, rescued his mother, a human, from slavery. His mother died when he was very young and he was mostly raised by his father on board his father's ship, the Armstrong. When Vincent was 24, his father died and he inherited the ship. He has since wondered the star systems, taking on odd jobs and transporting people and goods to make a living. He's had a fair share of encounters with pirates and other unsavoury types - one such encounter is how he acquired his droid, NV-32, who helps him with the maintenance of his ship.
    Other: The Armstrong and NV-32 won't affect the RP very much if at all, as they will be out of action for most of it.

    Throda lacks any magical talent what so ever. He does have racial abilities such as increased strength and stamina, along with the ability to guzzle several barrels of ale while forging a Mithril sword.
    Expert with his hammer, even more expert at taking hits. One of the last Dwarf Juggernauts, renowned through all the Dwarven lands for their ability to get hit.
    Because of his complete blindness to any magical skill whatsoever, Throda is able to slightly resist spells which effect the mind. Spells such as mind-control, or ones that cause sleep.

    Strengths: Hitting, getting hit.

    Weaknesses: Lacks any magical abilities, even is unable to activate some magical items. Lacks any sort of ranged ability. Fighting must be done within arm-span, which is already rather short. Not very agile or speedy. Dodging is out of the question. As are flips. His headstand is decent though. Social skills are solid with his sort of type, but become strained with those he can't relate to.

    History:

    Prologue:
    Throda Bronzebeard is the son of Throda Bronzebeard, who is the Champion of Ironforge and now rules the entire dwarf kingdom. Throda Senior had adventured with Xanatos Reaver and returned to Ironforge after the fiasco. Throda had witnessed the tension between Xanatos and Alpha and returned to Ironforge where he found his son, Throda junior. Throda senior was appointed Lord of Ironforge when his great-uncle Magni Bronzebeard died. Throda launched the Wars of Unity, a campaign to unite all the dwarf clans together as they once were. So begins the history of Throda Bronzebeard Junior.

    History:
    Throda Bronzebeard began combat training at a very early age and joined the military very shortly. Upon his father's return, he began to fight in the Wars of Unity against the clans who refused the Bronzebeards. Throda progressed through the ranks during the war, which lasted for roughly hundred years. Throda stormed the Blackiron's capital, leading the assault where the war ended. For this he was inducted into the Juggernaut Academy: Hit Us, I Dare You. An invitation was extended to Throda and he readily accepted, knowing the poweress and beautiful grace of the Dwarven Juggernaut's ability to get hit. Throda graduated from the academy, becoming one of the 13 dwarves to ever do so. Upon graduation Throda received his armour and buckler, the legendary gear of a heroic past Juggernaut. Upon the breastplate are runes that say "hit me, I dare you." In a circular pattern on the shield, runes spell the Juggernaut's mantra, which is basically the same as what's on the breastplate.

    After his fifty years of Juggernaut training, Throda junior joined his father who currently works with the Order of the Hammer, having known Jayce for quite some time, and his father before him.

    Time Immunity: Zane has immunity to the effects of time manipulation from other sources.

    Zane throws a device forward in which he has previously stored a large amount of his time magic in. The device, after a few meters of travelling or on impact, expands and releases this power, slowing the rate of time for everything in the area, including Zane himself if he is close enough.

    Phase Dive: Zane rolls forward and plans his next attack carefully. As he goes to unleash it, he releases a short burst of time manipulation and speeds himself up greatly, near teleporting to his opponent and striking them with his blade. Once he commits to this attack though, he cannot stop it and will collide with any and all objects in his path.

    Chronobreak: If the situation gets desperate enough, Zane can rewind time by up to four seconds, with all remembering exactly what happened during those four seconds. However, this leaves Zane with so little energy left maintaining consciousness is a struggle.

    Time Freeze: Using his manipulation over time, Zane has the power to freeze time itself for four seconds, with the actions done in these four seconds happening simultaneously the second it wears off and time resumes. However, this leaves Zane with so little energy left afterwards maintaining consciousness is a struggle.
    Strengths: Fast on his feet, his determination is not easily shaken, physically fit and stronger than he looks.
    Weaknesses: Often lets his emotions guide him, rather than what his head is telling him.
    History: Zane Wynter is a Demi God blessed with the ability to manipulate time, but if you ask him he would tell you it's more of a curse. At a young age he discovered his talents, and began to practice. This lead to many troubling events, one of which one day cost him his sister's life. In a terrible accident sparked by him not using his abilities responsibly, his sister was impaled and died quickly. Distraught, Zane tried to use his powers to reverse time; something that he had been expressly forbidden from doing, but he couldn't do it. Not long enough. Time and time he tried again, but he could only go as far back as the accident himself, forcing himself to watch her die over and over again but always be powerless to stop it.

    Go forward a few years, and Zane was fighting for the Order of The Hammer. He had to hone his abilities and protect what mattered. He intended on mastering the abilities he had been blessed with, enough to the point that he could surpass the gods themselves and finally atone for his mistakes, and revive the one person he held dearest.

    History: Throughout her entire life, Lilith has always been a thief, and a good one at that. Chances are if something's missing and it wasn't nailed down, she has it. She's very dedicated to her craft, meaning most don't trust her and those that do know her make sure to keep an eye on her at all times. This didn't spare her parents from being robbed blind though when Lilith was only 16. It was her masterpiece, everything vanishing from the house in the span of two weeks with them barely noticing any of it vanishing at the same time as their daughter. There was one thing she wanted more than anything though, more than any sexual partner or object the world could give her; she wanted to steal the powers of the demi gods. While that may have seemed impossible to most, so would the existence of a person like Lilith, and it wasn't like she had anything better to do, so why the hell not?

    The roleplay has begun! A quick explanation of our current situation:

    Order of the Hammer:

    The Order of the Hammer is about to launch an attack on Sky Tower, currently under the control of the Shards of Hope. Jayce Reaver is leading the assault, using The Valiant, the flagship of the Order's fleet. As Sky Tower is equipped with a powerful anti-air gun, the airship will be landing a league or so away from the tower. A force of infantry will attack the tower directly, whilst a team of specialists sneaks inside to subdue the defenders and seize control of the fortress.

    The Order of the Hammer will win the battle if they take control of the anti-air weapon at the top of the tower.

    The Shards of Hope:

    The Shards have been instructed to defend the tower at all costs. If they manage to fight off the Order's attack, they'll be able to stop their foes from receiving any additional aerial reinforcements. At their disposal is the very best troops the Shards have to offer. How they defend the structure is up to them, but their only goal is to protect the anti-air weapon.

    The Shards of Hope will win the battle if they force the Order to retreat.

    Onamakritos is some distant relative of Carissa Samarost, as sometime after Aidan's wife died over 100 years ago, Aidan found himself in the company of Calxiyn The 1st, his old flame, and Calxiyn The 1st bore Calxiyn The 2nd, who moved back to Calxiyn the 1st's old homeland which was filled with Keyblade Masters. She reclaimed the throne of her mother and grandparents and was treated like a Saviour. Calxiyn The 2nd had Calxiyn The 3rd, who had Calxiyn The 4's, who had Onamakritos's sister, Calxiyn the 5th and himself. The Keyblade was passed onto his sister, as the people thought that any female in the line was Calxiyn The 1st Reincarnated. No one in the royal line has ever had a second child for this reason, so they didn't really know what to do with Onamakritos. She's always been the favourite of his parents, and even though he's the son of an emperor, he's felt like more of the stain on someone's brand new carpet, leaving him with bitterness of his family and a chip on his shoulder. He decided to go the magical route, and was the student of a God Slayer. Now he's on a search to reconnect with the Samarosts and help them in their quest to kill the Demi-Gods.
