Hogwarts character and Role-Play Sandbox

This thread is solely for those who have joined "Hogwarts, school of Witchcraft and Wiazrdry: BaseSebastian Edition" in the Fantasy section of the Role-play arena. It is so players can get well-aquainted with their characters, get used to the Quidditch matches set-up, and to overall get accustomed to the role-play that will someday start, when I get the entire RP set-up properly.

If you wish to join this RP, simply go to the RP section and fill-out the Student OC template, and maybe even take a few needed other roles, if you know alot about the Harry Potter series.

If you have already joined, do not worry about putting your character template here, just start interacting and useing your characters. If you have Staff or Ghost roles, try and find their persona as well through studying them in the books and/or movies, then test out the knowledge here.

This isn't the actual Role-Play, so any interactions with any character is null-and-void to the real RP, when it is full set-up.

You can do anything you will be able to do in the RP up-and-coming, such as spell casting, and walking about the Hogwarts grounds. But, you can only use spells you know, and you can only walk around Hogwarts in places everyone knows, such as the common rooms, the dormitories, classes, the grounds, Hagrid's house, the Foribbiden forest, and the Great hall. In this sandbox, you can just zip to anyplace you wish, and not have to worry about Real-time Role-play.

 

This is good, I've been wanting to try out the Bloody Baron, not quite sure how he rolls

any ideas?

 

The bloody Baron is a somewhat pompous, blood-thirsty ghost from Slytherin house. He's the only one who can terrify Peeves, as cold to his own house as the others, and is somewhat overzealous in his abilities, and likes to show off.

The bloody Baron prefers apparateing, walking through walls, sword drawn, and just gliding through students to get the biggest scares. He usually isn't too civil with th other house ghosts, but isn't a total self-centered moron....at least, not totally.

 

Finally found a place to try out Zeke, my character.

 

"No! Wait! Hold the door!" A small yellow rat like thing wearing blue robes came hurtling through a brick wall at breakneck speed, riding an out-of-control trolley with baggage. TSSSSHHH! The doors of the Hogwarts express slowly started hissing closed. "No dammit! I said to wait! For Arceus' sake, press the red button with the two arrows facing away from each other!" Seeing no one was listening to him, Pika_power readied himself to jump the remaining distance, when the trolley went over a rock, jolting him forward and screwing up his timing. "AHHH!" the lump screamed, as it shot through the closing door, leaving the baggage behind. Glancing backwards, he cursed as his luggage rolled onto the tracks, just as the train started to move. He watched in horror as a sheet on how to hold a wand blew onto the window, then away into the sky.

Well? Anyone doubting my beloved Pikachu?

 

Good Lord....0_0...If you had practiced to the degree where Pika was already at Hogwarts (You can be anywhere in the sandbox), Peeves would be haveing quite a time.xD

Here's a basic try-out of my character: Rymond Foxely; You don't have to interact and talk with other people's characters, but it does help with Role-Play practice.

Rymond grumbled, out of all of the times he had to be couped up in a compartment of the Hogwarts express, it had to be a time when the very definition of crossbreed roamed the long train's hallway. Fortuneately for him, he didn't have to worry about the Pikachu rideing to Hogwarts with them for the moment, because the foul beast was somewhere else; However, this was still too close for Rymond's tastes.

At that moment, as he continued to moan his disdain, a paper caught itself in the slit under his open compartment window. Bemused, he took it and read it half-heartedly. Just then, his eyes light with great pleasure as he saw something most convenient on said paper.

He ran out into the hall and burst out, "Look everyone, that new beast student doesn't even know how to hold a wand properly!" Said Rymond humoursly, drawing a few snickers from the compartments around him. "So, if you expect to duel him, expect a delay with him and those small fingers of his, eh?" Rymond continued, one close-by compartment, most likely chock full of fellow Slytherins, burst into laughter at the last words.

Happy with himself, wearing a devilish smirk, Rymond slunk back into his seat, going over the paper again. "Next I suppose the bloody mouse is going to winde up a squib, I suppose." Rymond muttered maverickly to himself as he propped his feet up on his seat and liad down, head up against the window.

 

Spam Zone is not your friend today.

 

Eh? This is in the Spam Zone because it would be stupid for people to gain post counts for practing their RP characters, and not only that, but also because it would be pointless to set-up a RP in the RP arena that is just a practice zone of a RP that's already there....

And...I seriously don't get the picture.....O-o

 

wtf since when do posts count in the RP zone?
And the the pic shows that I am taking the thread in a direction that the origional post didn't intend for.

And so, in other words, you wish that this thread were moved? That'd be rather pointless, to be frank.
