I got a question.

I'm not sure if i should post this here so if it's not the right place move this. Can someone tell me how you make links by pressing a word instead of the actual link? You know hiding the link in a word.

[ URL = "http://crappytown.com" ] http://crappytown.com [/URL]

When you click the button "Insert Link", you get that tag (without the spaces). All you have to do is replace the test between the tag [ URL="" ] and [ /URL ]. In this case, you'd replace "http://crappytown.com" with the word you want and normally it should work. So if I wanted to write "Click here!", it would look like this:

[ URL = "http://crappytown.com" ] Click Here! [/URL]

And there you have it (:

I have a last question if anyone can help. How can i put a picture in a blank page using a link? I hope you can understand what i mean.

 

You mean like making an image a link? Or linking to an image?

For the first, you do exactly the same thing with the links but replace the "text" with the "image code". For the latter, you just...put the URL of the image...o_o

 

If you mean placing an image in a post:



ex. [img ]http://www.lolhome.com/funny_avatars/fat-beaver.jpg[/img] becomes:

 

example:

[*url="www.google.com"]put your text here[/url]


Remove the (*) and it works.

Product: put your text here

 

To make an image a link, it's...



That's:

[url = the page/website you want to link to ][/url]

Take away the spaces and you're good to go.
