American election systems make no sense to me either. :/

I honestly have no idea about the elections either, and I voted today. I voted for whatever the coin in my mind said to vote for (true story). The only thing I really knew what to vote for was to give the college some extra funds for the library. Finally, some money that's not going to be given to stupid athletics!

 

I quite agree. We need books for future refrences. Not some athlete trying to compete against the stock market.

And Harry Potter is coming out November 19th, so reserving soon is a good idea.

 

My town doesn't have a theater for another few months ;_;

And I'm tired of hearing every person telling me that "You should vote because it's a right people died for yout to have!". Why the guilt trip, seriously? If I hear it one more time, I'm going to start saying "Everyone's going to die one day, so suck it!" when I walk into a room.

 

IIRC it's election day for Congress today.
Jersey's been corrupt for years so I'm just hoping we get the current "representatives" out before they do more damage.

 

First order of business: Stop all the crappy reality shows?
