I totally thought we listened to more of the same bands o.o

 

We used to quite a bit more, nowadays they are more my nostalgia throwback bands. My music tastes have kind of gone crazy lately lol. Still very much enjoy them though!

 

Oh, I guess so. I've just had trouble finding more new bands that I can actually stand these days. All my friends listen to rap, dubstep, heavy metal, K-Pop, techno, or something really mainstream, and here I am with my alternative/rock/game soundtrack/industrial/electronic (rough estimate)

I'm slowly getting into more obscure artists that I'm liking (to people I know)

Most of my friends (silly misty you have no friends) listen to rather basic stuff too, and are a little scared of my music. There was a dark period of my life where everything was Xiu Xiu and it was just... bad. But last.fm has definitely expanded my tastes, and I just love being able to look at graphs of what I'm listening to it.

Get listenin', I love checking musical compatibility.

 

Do you know how to get a graph of your genres/bands/whatever? I can't remember how :<

Its odd, I don't care if music is mainstream or not, that's not how I cite how enjoyable or good it is, but many of the bands I've never heard before are just....really stonking great.

Its a pain to look for their CD's though.

 

So far you seem like mostly classic rock/alt. rock? Your tastes at least seem semi-consistent, mine are really all over the place. xD Though I suppose that's how it should be, shouldn't just focus on one genre.

Since I upload from WMP, all my dad's songs came up too. So all my artists are drowned by his artists D:

I'm not really an all over the place kind of person anyway when it comes to music. -___-

Oh I know how that feels, haha. I used to have a lot of my sister's music on my computer.

And that's cool! Some people like to be consistent. I crave being able to answer the "what kind of music do you like" question with a simple answer, not just oh uhm you know... stuff.
