    But I suppose if the person forgot their old account, both username and password, there's nothing that can really be done. I mean if they knew their old username, they could PM an admin to change that password to their liking so they could gain access...

    But I regress.

    I'm assuming that the driving force behind that rule would be to prevent a user from having two active accounts. However as I said I forgot that account, meaning that I am unable to log in, and that the account is useless and will never see activity again. Though, rules are rules and i can't say that if i were in your position i wouldn't have posted the same thing, but it seems i've been pardoned so i guess thats that.

    As nice as he is, Llave really doesn't have the authority to ok an action a staff has to, it would be in your best interest to inform a member of staff about the other account, because if they did a search for multiple IP addresses and yours and the other one are the same, there's a chance both accounts would be banned.
