    Hello there! I'm new to the forums, but I thought I'd post to let everyone know that I'm working on a translation for the first BBS novel that came out last month. I just received it a couple of days ago and I have translated the table of contents and introduction chapter and I have made some progress into Story 1.     Fan translations are good. Often as good as the official translations, if done correctly. The Haruhi light novels are a perfect example of this.

    Are you planning on keeping Japanese honorifics, or are you going to rework them?
