I won’t let this happen again. Yeah, I’ve changed!

I remember it well, I was 15 years old and living in a shell.
A world of my own, no one could hurt me anymore, all alone.
She didn’t want me, I wasn't the one I thought I was going to be,
that feeling was the worst I ever got, even worse than a gunshot.

One year later, still living in that shell,
you came in my life and opened my cell.
It seems you were the only one with the right key,
was this really happening to me?

Gone with the agony and the f*cking misery,
because of you I felt stronger than a whole army.

All this time thinking of you,
Do you do the same, do you think of me too?
You’re a treasure I won’t give up, yup, you’re the one I f*cking want.

Every time we saw each other we were laughing all the time,
even while writing this rhyme I’m smiling my ass off
‘cause you’re the one I love.
You and me, just the two of us, let it be.
Let’s be together and write history.

And don't be afraid, 'cause I'll be at your aid.
I'll never throw you away like a handgrenade.

Nice Very Nice

This is a very powerful poem for someone that says that they don't really write. I mean to me this can really get you to start thinking like wow am I really enjoying life to the fullest?Or am I just taking everything everything good that happenes to me for granted? This is very good.^^ ^^

And yes, this is the first thing I ever wrote actually but it's kinda how my life has been the past few years.

 

There isn't really much to say about this piece. It's decent but there isn't a particular flair I can comment on and your vocabulary could be a bit more exciting.

The repeated references to war with "gunshot" and "hand grenade" were intresting but didn't feel particularly relevant.

Your rhyming is steady and amiable. My main hate is the tasteless swearing. If you're going to put in swear words, make them tasteful.

 

Yeah, I thought the swearing would be a problem for some people but really this wasn't meant to be tasteless or anything, heck, normally I don't swear at all but at that time I was kinda into the situation I was in and thought it would make my feelings in the piece stronger therefore I decided to use them.

A so called friend

I didn’t do anything wrong,
still you want my reputation, my happiness gone.
Someone I thought I knew, a so called friend, was a jerk all along.

Can’t believe the things you say,
I got the point, just stop it and go away.

You’re not a friend anymore,
Now get out of my life, look behind you, there’s the door.

If you need lies to be cool,
oh man, then you’re a stupid fool.
We’ll see how you’ll be in the future

A little more grown-up or still the same?
Either way, life’s like poker,
you have to play your cards right,
but when you make a mistake and bluffing doesn’t work any longer,
it gets pretty tight.

Then you’re the one who’ll lose and guess what, I won't be there like I was before.
Still think life’s a game?

Time for a change, a friend no more.

 

Painful truth

Why don’t you answer?
Left alone, without a reason, no question asked.
Part of the future, now part of the past.

Why don’t you answer?
No move given, cannot win nor lose.
Yet I stand here, feeling lost, an outcast.

Getting sick of this boring place.
Once a playground, now a maze.
Trapped inside, an unending phase.

Tired of the silence.
Standing on higher ground, looking at the noose.
Then the phone rings, can’t get loose.

This is...

Freaking sick I mean to me this is like school life. When people are tyring to find a place they fit into. And hiding all their true emotions so that they won't be that one kid that no one likes.

Gone

Everything went good, nothing went wrong
I changed because of you but you didn’t have to change too
Do you even know what you did? Do you?!
… guess it wasn’t meant to be all along

I’m getting crazy here, I want this sh*t gone
This feelings inside are killing me
War wins inside me and chaos starts ruling my head

Yesterday we made some pictures together
Our situation still the same as any other day
We went home, not even a kiss goodbye? What’s the matter?

“ I don’t know what to think anymore. You’re like my best friend now. Don’t wanna lose you, you know?”

“What’re you saying? I don’t understand … you’re the one I adore … no .. I won’t let you go!”

A voice inside my mind whined “What is she talking about?! Everything went good .. nothing went wrong ..”


In the end everything went wrong and nothing was good
I’m putting back that hood
and I’ll start living in the same cell as before
You're the one with the key, now lock me up, I don’t want this anymore

 

Courage

Courage is the power that makes things come true
You have to think positive. That’s what you have to do,
in order to be content, don’t repent.

Courage is the power that let’s you begin anew
you don’t know where you are, you don’t have a clue?
Just believe in yourself, I’ll do too.

So stop living in the past, the past cannot be undone,
And think about the future, have some fun!​

 

These are excellent. I have read some great stuff recently but most not as easy on the eyes. An old phrase fits in here, short and sweet. You not only made it great to read in your choice of words but just being in an excellent format. Not much at all to say on the spelling so . . . There it is, my eyes are still intact :D

Trying to find a way ...

I’m shrouded in darkness, trying to find a light, a reason to stay.
Sure, I’ve had some help along the way, but all that made me more confused day by day.
Light turned to darkness, I became prey.
But I’ll fight to see tomorrow and outlive today.

I don’t know what to do. Should I let go or take things slow?
A dilemma with no end that started with you as my almost-girlfriend.
I need some time to mend, to heal these wounds so I can start back again.
Are you worth the effort or should I just be another friend?

The darkness has gotten hold of me, right now I could even be your worst enemy.
Memories start to fade, I’m nothing more than a shade.
Even so, I’ll never give up, this is the me you made.
I’ll change my destiny, I laugh at fate.

What’s this? This dark, it turned into light?
Despite the pain I’m shining bright.
Hold on tight, I’m fighting my way through.
I’m finding my way back to you.

This isn't the final version, I think there's something wrong with the 2nd part, maybe I should make that more symbolic so it isn't as obvious as it is now?

My secret, la verità.
The mystery piece of a missing saga.
The dark will keep it hidden, they cannot know this enigma ... but he ...

The recovery

Gone will be the one, the helpless soul.
She too will be left alone.
She has to play her final role, the role that no one else would fit.
The torch is already lit.


Soon it’ll turn ugly,
slowly but surely, chaos starts ruling truly.
Everyone will start to run, although it can’t be outdone.
We will burn for the sins of the daughter and the son.

I lack
a solution to get back on track.

But the sun never came and I started to think,
it made me wonder whether I would rise or sink.

when white was still light
and black

Captain Poncho

There once was a squirrel named Poncho,
but one day he disappeared fo sho.
Now all his mates are looking for him,
although the chances of finding Poncho are very slim.

What the others didn’t know was that Poncho became a fearsome pirate.
But after years searching for treasure he became very tired.
So he returned to his old home and went in a deep sleep.
But during that long sleep, the new owners arrived and said ‘Eeep
who might you be and what’re you doing in our tree?’

’Captain Poncho is the name and remember it well,
or I’ll throw you in the ocean and on the bottom you’ll dwell.’​

Betrayal is the thing that I hate the most.
Always thinking the best when it’s just the worst.
Believing in a trust that simply isn’t there,
acting like you do, but you just don’t care.

Surprise, surprise, guess who I despise?
How can that many lies fit in someone your size?
Thought you could do what you want without me knowing it?
I’ll tell you my point of view, even toned down a bit.

I’ve completely had it with you and your lies,
go away, far away, don’t even apologize!
