'Kingdom Hearts: Missing Link' Officially Cancelled

    After being delayed last November, it has been officially announced today that the mobile game 'Kingdom Hearts: Missing Link' has officially ceased development, with Square-Enix assuring fans that work on the highly anticipated 'Kingdom Hearts IV' is still underway. Square-Enix's announcement of the game's cancellation can be viewed below:

    Given the apparent importance of its plot, it is currently unknown if the story of 'Missing Link' would be told in another format in the future in the lead-up to KH4.

      MAN. I was really looking forward to this game, not only on its own merits, but as something to tide us all over until KHIV—and now we're stuck with a whole lot more waiting and nothing.

      Yeah, I have to say... this really sucks. I feel awful for the devs who worked so hard on it and have to stop now. I just hope it can still survive in some other format in the future...
