It´s supposed to be 2D-ish, but I´ll suppose that darkening the BG wouldn´t hurt.

VERY nice colors and positioning.

Only think i can suggest is fix up the text a little and clean up the messy effects. Great job. =)

 

I really don't like the shade of his hair up against that pink. Looks akward.

 

Added more pink, darkened the BG, etc etc.

Hissy: I tried changing the shade of pink, but it turned out the same.

Darky: I tried moving the text, how it´s already it´s the best I could do, also, the only messy effect was the texture, which I lowered, care to explain what else it´s messy for you?

 

It looks better, Chaser. The pink isn't as bland and it contrasts more with the other colors.
