I think Disney movies always have deep messages in them.

I was watching Aladdin the other day and tried to find the messages it had to offer:
    Don't judge by appearances
Don't lie to yourself and others; be yourself
A law should not control who can marry who; it should be based on love

Now it's your turn to try and list the messages you find from this or other Disney movies. Have fun!

Hmm...I didn't know Disney made Prince of Egypt.....

i would pick The Lion King.
    Don't worry about life's problems.
Even when you die, it isn't over.
When someone dies, they are always watching over you
    Love is better then hate.

Did anyone else realize that Lion king is kinda like Shakespeare's Macbeth?

    Heh, Nightmare before Christmas,
Just because you wanna do something or replace another, doesn't mean you'll do it better.
    Expect the unexpected, maybe.

I disagree with the 'Don't worry about life's problems.' part.

Here's what I got from the movie:
Living your life not worrying about the bigger problems out there is the wrong path. Don't be dependent on your dreamworld; you have to view the real world and the reality that we live in, and fight for the good cause.

Do you mean Hamlet? It's actually directly based off of Hamlet.

For me, Nightmare Before Christmas taught me that curiosity killed the cat xD.

I think so too. But there are also some Disney films that thaught us terrible lessons. For example...

...The Lion King: To be succesful, sometimes people got to die

The supposed message: We all have responsibilities we can't ignore. You can't run from the past.

The actual message: In order to be succesful, some people have to pay.

Cinderella: Sort of like "The Secret"

The supposed message: Dreams do come true!

The actual message: If you wait around long enough, the universe(the good fairies in this case) will practically hand stuff to you.

The Little Mermaid: A little deal with the Devil never hurt nobody

The supposed message: True love conquers all!

The actual message: A little compromise with evil is okay, as long as everything will turn out okay in the end.

Sleeping Beauty: If a guy saves your ass, it belongs to him

The supposed message: True love will conquer all!

The actual message: That guy that comes along and saves you from a crisis? Marry him! He's the one!

Don't get me wrong, I love Disney films. But some films can have horrible stories...

Toy Story was a Pixar/Disney movie, but its my fav, and I'm doing it anyway.

Even when you're at the top of your game, you can still be knocked down.
Friends can be people who you at first don't get along with, but begin to come together later.
You can do anything, regardless of what people(or your label,) say.
