Is this the part when we ask whats wrong and then you say it and then this thread gets 50+ posts of people trying to say who's opinion is right?

I don't understand how being miserable is so "mainstream" now. I've always felt that **** happens in life that might not make you wanna jump for joy, but is anything really worth being upset over for a long period of time? I mean, unless it is a death or a significant loss, I really think happiness is a mindset to an extent. You can choose to live being happy (even when the going gets tough,) or you can chose to be unhappy, you pick your happiness. You are given this one life, and one face, and you can either deal with it or spend your time hating it. I don't understand why this is even in the spamzone. I don't understand the point of displaying negative emotion for a bunch of people who you don't know and most likely never will. I don't know what's eating you dude, but whatever it is, it will pass. It's gonna be okay, it really is. Don't waste your time. And no one in this section of the forum really cares about you like that, sorry to say.

    /mini rant
