My Xbox Died :(

3 rings of death.

this will be my 3rd Xbox....

 

Ah the dreaded ring of death. I remember once my xbox started flashing red, indicating it was about to become controlled by skynet. I shut it up with a hammer and miraculously it survived.
Red ring of death doesn't mean the end for it XD

 

Perhaps you should invest in a console that doesn't fail constantly...

 

You can actually fix the Ring of Death on a Xbox. You just have to ask a friend of mine. He was shown how and now any time he gets it he just fixes it himself

The red ring of death doesn't necessarily mean the end for an Xbox, or three in your case.

It's very possible to fix it. I knew a guy who got it, started to screw around inside it and eventually fixed it for good.

although if i were you, i'd take Trigger up on that suggestion

 

I think three rings is dead. First it died, now it Dead!

You can get new ones relatively cheap now. If it's your main console, it's worth getting then.

 

I red-ringed a long time ago. Mi madre tried what was supposed to be a permanent fix, but one that voided the warranty.

Then it red-ringed again.

So yeah :L Might be asking for one of those new-fangled ones for Christmas. Any word on whether those fail every three months or not?

 

I've had mine for 3 years, still hasn't red ring'd on me. Knock on wood. Guess I just got one of the few good ones.

But jokes aside, your third one? That's terrible. Well, you can send it to Microsoft. But that takes a bit. It might just be a better idea to...get a PS3? I mean, it really depends on what kind of games you play.

And if you do decide to get a 4th one, maybe it won't get the rings?

I thought the problem with it was just because the battery was inside and the fan couldn't cool everything?

Didn't console arguments end in 2007? Why does it matter which system he gets? Maybe he likes Xbox more, there's nothing wrong with that, every console has its positives and its negatives, nothing is perfect not even consoles.

My Xbox is one of those fancy new versions that won't get the rings. Or, rather, its chance of getting rr'd it is pretty slim.
