Negima! Final Mix (KH-Vids Edition): Episode 1 Teaser

For those of you who aren't familiar with this project, me and VGN have been working on an "Abridged" type series involving the anime "Negima! Magister Negi Magi" or usually known as "Mahou Sensei Negima."

In layman's terms, a condensed fandub that actually has humor in it.

And for those of you who're either involved or been interested, don't worry. We're not dead. :p

Most of the pilot episode has been done. We're just waiting for certain voice clips before it's officially ready. In the meantime, here's something to keep you occupied. ;)

 

Also, at 0:22, Asuna says "Bite me, pedo." Just incase it wasn't clear.

seems the static from the trailers been removed and the voice acting has improved, who knows it might be awesome

...If it's an "abridged" series, then it will only have like...1-4 voice actors, not thirty..xDD

 

DBZ Abridged has at least 8 VAs, and has guest VAs.

Hopefully, coz I mean no offence but the trailer before this almost made my ears bleed *cough*BadMicrophonesObviously*cough*

 

Dude, we spent months making this thing and the VAs put a lot of their time and effort into it, especially DF. Show a little graditude to us for making this project into a reality.

 

...Fine, then, you guys did an awesome job, no constructive criticism needed.

 

I'm just telling you the downsides so you guys can improve on it and make things better, it happens in all forms of work get used to it

 

Either way, I still think that our series will beat that other "Negima Abridged" series, no doubt. :)

I agree with you.

 

We knew about the mic problems already, but we didn't want to wait any longer to post the voice compilation trailer. Waiting even longer would most likely delay us until the end of the year or more. We felt it was better to get something out there than to have to scrap the project because of one last voice actress we were waiting on.

As for the lines themselves, we didn't write them. We just took them straight from the English dub. Making up a script just for the voice samples kinda spoils any joke material that we could've saved for future episodes.

The actual script is more entertaining than the trailer, I guarantee that. :)

 

I understand that, but going to our video and putting "fail DF, fail" as a comment isn't really constructive criticism.

 

It looks nice so far. : )

God, some of the lines I went the entirely wrong direction with, it's so hard to tell what emotion you need to say the lines with without actually seeing what the characters are meant to be doing at the time >_>

Despite that, it looks great, I want more, I can't wait to see the entire episode one. <3

Yeah, that's why I was trying to do the draft sample videos, so you could see it in context. However, it took too long and doing it that way seemed more trouble than it was worth because when trying to synch it in the final version, the repeat of mouth flaps becomes too much for WMM and eventually fails. :sideways:

But no worries. You and the other voice actresses did just fine. :glomp:
