Taste is very subjective. Judging by the posts before this, people like to have merch of their favorite stuff. I'd be a hypocrite if I judged, considering I have four KH playarts and Doctor Who art on my wall.

Though I agree with whoever doesn't like it. I don't like when they put Sora in a random drive form on something, and just use the standard character art. is it too much to ask for a unique design?

A lot of these companies do that for their merchandise. It's a lot easier for them to use the art that's available than to get a whole new design going.
