Nightwish.

I <3 this band!

Does anyone else here like them or has heard of them?

 

The only song I've heard from them is "End of All Hope" and that's a pretty cool song.

 

I'm a big fan on Nightwish. I saw them live in April, I highly enjoyed it.

I love the latest album Dark Passion Greed. Anette is no Tarja but fits in very well to the band.

Yeah, I created a Dialga and Palkia slideshow video using that song, I thought it was good for my first video. I love that song.

 

I've heard some songs from Nightwish. I like them, they're a good band. I like their songs Dead Boy's Poem and 10th Man Down.

 

I believe I have heard of them before, but I can not seem to remember any songs. /:

Seriously, they're amazing, and anyone who likes rock or metal really must listen to them. I got my friend to become a fan of them in about twenty minutes yesterday just by listening to a few songs off DPP.
I didn't really like Tarja's voice after a while...it became more operatic than what would fit for the music. Though it worked well for Nemo, I Wish I Had an Angel, and Phantom of the Opera.

Favorite songs are: Phantom of the Opera, 7 Days to the Wolves, Bye Bye Beautiful, Master Passion Greed, Amaranth, The Islander, Last of the Wilds, The Poet and the Pendulum (part IV), Sahara, Nemo, I Wish I Had an Angel, and The Escapist.
All instrumental versions of the songs from DPP are extremely good as well. :3

I've never heard of them, or any of the songs some of you listed. Then again, I do live in a cardboard box. I'll listen to a couple, and edit in my opinion shortly, I'm always open to different music.

Nightwish is one of my most favourite bands. In fact it's starting to slowly take over my mp3 player XD

I LOVE this Band
i like tarja and Anette both but i like more anette, my favourites are "She is my Sin" "Nemo" "Amaranth" and "The poet and the Pendolum"

 

They're a metal band. From Finland. Which makes them even more amazing. :3
They can also be put under the "symphonic metal" genre because they do have an orchestral accompaniment.
