Who would actually love it if Zac Efron played Light Yagami in the American Death Note movie?

Honestly, I would like to see him play Light.


He just looks the part, YOU CANNOT DENY THAT. And it would be nice to see him play a role other than happy-go-lucky high school singer...

If they make an American Death Note movie, I think it should be a trilogy. And I wouldn't mind seeing Efron as Light. He's also an actual fan of Death Note.

Who would play L? Misa? Mello?

 

He actually seems like a nice kid, on the Chelsea Lately episode he is quite funny.

Oh my god I was starting to wonder if I was the only one who'd read it.

In my humble opinion, nobody should ever, ever, touch this script even while wearing a radiation-resistant suit and using a ten foot pole... Much less make a movie with it.

I actually think Zac could pull off the part, but we need a decent script to begin with.
