if riku was consumed by darkness then had his body/heart taken over by xemnas's heartless then how do we know he did not become a heartless

actually riku's heartless was there, riku's heartless took over his body, remember riku's heartless suit, that that's the heartless....

 

then wouldent there be a nobody

 

It's super confusing, but I think if Riku actually became a heartless and therefore having a nobody, we would know about it.
That would have been cool though...Namine, Roxas, and then..uh....Xukir? Rukix? lol. That would have really changed things.

Riku has never had a heartless. No heartless = no nobody.

You only become a heartless when you lose your hearts. I say it again, Riku has never lost his hearts, but it has been in darkness longer than Oprah in a fast food resteraunt (Zing!)
