I heard 4kids will stop dubbing (editing) One Piece!!!!!!!!!!!!

THERE IS A GOD!!!!! I'm sorry, but 4kids was killing the series with that atrocious dub. I hope if anyone picks it back up, they get completely new voice actors and we can erase this dub from our mind ><

 

I'm not very sure what One Piece is, but if it's free from 4kids (which is causing more harm than good), all right!

 

As a hardcore One Piece fan, I must say this is a saving grace. This has made my christmas. I heard about a few days ago, and well it was great.

Now if only FUNimation or Viz pick it up, though i doubt they well since other distributors don't like to interfere, and 4kids still own the show. Though in the future we might see uncut DVD boxsets in the future by a different distributors hopefully.

 

I personally wouldn't mind seeing it getting picked up by Geneon, as I have liked what they have done in some of their animes, though they have a few misses as well...The animes I feel that have some of the best dubs are Cowboy Bebop, Full Metal Alchemist, and Samurai Champloo. If it could be up to par with those, then this series could actuallly take off as a good dub, and would be better. I would just hope that they would start over from the beginning...

 

Full Metal Alchemist was done by FUNimation. But most companies are better than 4kids XD

 

WHOOP! I can't believe it, this is the greatest news I ever heard.

But, we're still gonna have to watch repeats. Eventually it will leave forever.

Yes, 4kids somehow ruined a money making machine, if it wasn't for 4kids, One Piece would be bigger than Naruto.

One Piece in Japan is currently one of the most popular manga/anime series there, and selling more than Naruto. And could of shared a similar fate outside of Japan, but no 4kids screwed up.
