if you've heard of the tv show called qi you will know about the quite interesting facts, if you hear something that is quite intresting post it here and let us hear it
i'll start of...
did u know that Scotland, kilts, bagpipes, haggis, porridge, whisky and tartan aren't actually scottish?

 

Really? I'm interested.

 

Really thats pretty awesome, where did i come from.

 

scot land was named after a celtic tribe that from Ireland,haggis was greek, bagpipes were invented in western asia, kilts were invented by the irish, porridge was found in 500 year old bog bodies in europe and scandinavia (yuck!), whisky was invented in acient china and apparently the clan tartans were just a myth.

The bagpipe thing was really the one thing I was curious about, I just know the rest are almost tradition, but yes very interesting.

 

edison invented the word 'hello' spelt with an 'e', the biggest thing a blue whale can swallow is a grapefruit, Cinderella's slippers were made from squirrel fur not glass and carrots used to be purple, white, yellow, red, green and black until the dutch started growing them orange to match their flag so now they are pretty much all orange, phew thats quite a lot, but ive got plenty more! (QI AND STEPHEN FRY ROCK:D )
