358/2 Days Saix and Axels memories

Ok, I have pratically just finished KH 358/2, and i've got a question that I can't find the answer to, sorry if it has already been asked, I did look around.
It's fairly long.

Anyway, throughout the games conversations the cutscenes and in one of the Secret Reports, I can safely say that both Saix and Axel knew each other before becoming Nobodies.

(Weak) Evidence:
Saix knows Axels true name of Lea.
Numerous conversations between the two, indicate that they have a good understanding of one anothers personality, and treat each other fairly equal compared to other Org Members.

Also, the Seceret Report Day 118 says a lot, as Axel is the writer:

'Talking to Roxas and Xion always brings back memories of my human life, back when I was a kid, it's a weird sensation.
I ought to be able to share all this with Saix, but I just don't feel like it anymore. It's strange, but i'm not content with just missing what's gone.
I'm not the one who changed. You did.'

When Axel says he should be able to share this with Saix and that it was Saix who had changed, it shows that they were once close with each other, probably when they were human and kids. It begs the question whether or not they may appear in the next game as kids. Still this is all a speculation.

So, whats the deal? Nomura said anything?
We gonna see them in Birth By Sleep, you think?
Anyone with theories or answers are welcomed.

 

Yeah, it's been confirmed they were friends.
In fact, I think when they first joined the Org, they planned on taking it over.

A lot of people have been saying they'll appear in BBS as Somebodies, but I haven't seen any confirmation about that

 

Really? Hmm, interesting. When I first played KH2 I never would have guessed them to have a past together. They both seem way too different.
Though saying that, Sora and Riku are an odd couple, and well look how that all turned out.

I wonder if a Ven and Lea connection may appear in BBS. I mean, the (distant) connection they have between Axel and Roxas, maybe Nomura will play on that.

 

Well, I always knew they had some connection in KH2 because of how Saix (who I always pronounced with a silent X because Sai-Ex sounds weird) seemed to have a great dislike of Axel. I figured it was the traditional red oni-blue oni scheme we see in anime, like Nomura made them rivals. For one, Saix who was always apathetic (charade or not) was the prime example (next to Xemnas) of not having a heart since he showed no emotion. Axel was the complete opposite of that. Whether his emotions were fake or not, it would make one who longed a heart jealous of him. Then Saix's transformation into a berserk fiend compared to Axel's (usually) calm exterior made them more of opposites. Not to mention that after the initial 6, Saix and Axel were the first recruits. This may spawn somewhat of a rivalry.

I seriously doubt Ven and Lea have a connection.

Xigbar saw Xion as Ven because he's connected to Sora through Ven. Axel had no connection to Sora (besides CoM) so he didn't see Xion as anything besides a hooded figure or a doll, can't remember which, until he spent more time with Roxas, his connection with her grew and he saw her as her true self. If he had a connection to Ven, he would have seen her as Ven.

 

Heh, I think you hit the nail right on the head about Saix and Axel. The classic elements of some type of relationship was always there, I guess I just never really cared too much about the Org members till 358/2.

Your probably right bout the Ven Lea thing, it's just something I could see. A young Lea and Ven meeting each other, bout the same height (for once), joking with each other in Twilight Town. It just seems like a classic KH move to me, a weird move of course.

 

I doubt it, because then, In KH Days, wouldn't Axel of Seen Xion appearing as Ven, just like Xigbar did?

 

Well, no, as Axel had no apparent connection to Sora, and therefore Ven.

 

It is HIGHLY likely that Axel and Saix knew each other. This post itself is proof from the secret report and Saix's knowledge of his name.

However, It's unlikely they'll show up in BBS. Probably in a game after BBS between the ten year skip between BBS and KH1 if Nomura makes it.

 

the way i see it

Saix and Axel were friends. but Saix grew mad and mean when Roxas joined. therefor the"i didnt change, you did" comes forth into play.

 

It has been confirmed that Saix and Axel were friends before they were Nobodies. But after Axel started a friendship with Roxas and then Xion, I have the feeling that Saix grew somewhat jealous and angry over that made him choose Roxas or Xion.

But when he said that I can't help the feeling that Saix was hinting to Axel about their friendship they used to have as well.

 

They may have been friends but Saix is a common type nobody no emotions so they couldn't stay friends kind of emotional I think

 

Axel's a nobody too. Yet he's friends with Roxas and Xion. Axel and Saix "Changed", making them drift from their friendship basically.

Thats what i've heard and read somewhere so I'm guessing that they knew each other before.

 

Don't you see them together in the new BBS trailer that just came out? BTW, does anybody know where I can see it?

 

Yes they are in there, and no the trailer is still unreleased to the internetz.

 

This idea was pised before they were confirmed in BBS.
The trailer should hopefully appear sometime before christmas.

 

It's funny Saix's somebody Isa, is taller than Lea. While Axel is a little bit taller than Saix. I wonder what that thing Lea has on his finger is. Probably some kind of weapon. If I can guess they could of fallen into darkness after Radient Gardens got attacked by heartless. I see some kind of pattern where so far it seems the somebodies lived in Radient Garden.

I'm thinking that perhaps Saix has pointed ears because he got killed by a heartless with pointed ears or his heartless had one. Just speculating.

 

In the BBS trailer it does show Lea(Axel) and Isa(Saix) as friends. Lea even says, "We're already friends. Got that memorized?"

So does anyone think that Isa is going to be as cold an indifferent as Saix? I'm expecting it, but somehow I really want his personality to be different. Do I have any hope?
