I feel like this section has been really inactive, but now that I think about it it might just be that I'm poor at checking up on it.

I finished my new PS2 game today, Primal, and I was really disappointed by the ending. :c I still am really upset. But I have some nice music to cheer me up. ;o

How about you guys, anything interesting.

Disappointed by the ending? Bah, Primal was an awesome game. It's a shame it never got a sequel.

It was really fun, I enjoyed it as I was playing it, but the end was so... bleh.
I mean yeah, Lewis dies (question mark, because they insinuate that there is hope by tossing him into that pit in the Nexus), Jen goes back to Mortalis, and Scree gets his nice body back, but when the credits came on I just sat there feeling like there should have been something else.
A sequel would make me very happy.

So even with the disappointing ending, you'd say it's worth a play then? 8O

    If you like puzzles, yes.
Plus now that I'm thinking about it, you might really love the second half of the third world. I did, and now that I remember some of your past avs & sigs it kind of screams you. ._.
Also it set me back approximately $3, so you really don't have much to lose.

Oh, awesome, I might give it a shot. Did you find it at a store or get it online? =P

I just went to the Gamestop by me and picked it up, but you can order it off their website:
    http://www.gamestop.com/Catalog/ProductDetails.aspx?sku=280437&affid=9797

Keep in mind though that it's rated M (just for blood and curses, really. Rape is implied once but it doesn't actually happen or is shown or anything), so if you do it buy it in a store they'll ID you. :/ I had to get my sister to pay.

Ah okay, thanks. I guess I am seventeen now (scary thought homg) so I should be okay (it's 17+, right? B|). Might pick it up next time I go to the mall or something.

Yup, 17+, so you should be good. ;o Just make sure you have proof, haha. They might not take your word for it.

How many of those are actual restrictions, and not just suggestions?

AO is the only REAL one I think, but M games are generally not sold to anyone under 17 by most retail stores' policies.

    Weird. We've got a mix. There's...

    G
    PG
    R13
    M
    R16
    R18

With only the 'R' ratings actually restricted.

Oh my, Primal? I have that game! Though I stopped playing it pretty much instantly because I was stuck, then again I WAS thirteen. Maybe I should try it again. Wait, that game is M over there? I believe it was 11+ here o.o

    Also, the ratings here;
    3+
    7+
    11+
    16+
    18+

    Just keeping it simple.

Sounds a lot like movie ratings (CARA)

    G
    PG
    PG-13
    R
    NC-17

Though really NC-17 is like ESRB's AO, almost never used. Not quite that severe but really the films that would get that rating are known from the beginning that it won't be playing in your local theater so they aren't exactly looking for the official rating.

On another note I was at CARA's website to make sure there weren't obscure ratings I wasn't thinking about. On the site there is a section called "submission agreement" that I read as "subliminal agreement" my inner conspiracy theorist surfaced for a sec.

I bought resident Evil for the Gamecube, being 16 years old and going to the counter and acting casual.
The guy was impressed that I picked it out though. xD
So that probably had something to do with it.

They've only really started enforcing the ESRB ratings recently. When I was 11 I bought Fable, but I guess since California had that whole ratings case thing, chains like Gamestop are checking you. :/ Ah well, I've only got another year to go.

@ Christhor: don't worry, I was constantly consulting walkthroughs. xD
