Otakus are some of the most annoying people I've ever met.

 

Otaku aren't the worst. It's weeaboos you're thinking about.

 

I categorize both otakus and weeaboos into the "highly irritating" group.

 

I'm thinking of the people who spend all day watching anime, put random japanese words into a sentence, eat instant noodles and dip pretzels into chocolate all to feel closer to Japan when they don't know a thing about the culture.

Both do that, both are annoying...

 

What is so annoying about otakus, and weeaboos? They never seemed that bad to me.

 

They won't shut up about Japan or anime, and they're constantly using random Japanese words.
Not to mention they're obsessed with attaching suffixes to people's names.

Otaku can be very irritating depending on their level of exuberance in the area, but weeaboos are horrible all around.

I'm assuming you don't know what one is, so here.

There is a difference between the two.


Like, I was in /f/ the other day, and there was a song that someone /r/ed. Okay, this weeaboo is all "OMFG FAIL FOR NOT KNOWING THAT IS YUKI PLAYING GUITAR AND LOST MY MUSIC BY HIRANO AYA IN THE BACKROUND FAIL FAIL FAIL"

What's so bad about this? Several things:

1. Not everyone watches Haruhi.
2. It wasn't even the right song. It's 'God Knows' by Hirano Aya. :\
3. They managed to ice the cake by spelling background wrong.
4. Caps lock is NOT cruise control for weeaboos.

This isn't a perfect depiction of a weeaboo, but it's a damn good one. And unlike otaku, weeaboos constantly use 'desu [not in the meme sense], kawaii, ne, desho, baka, and other Japanese words in their speech. And yeah, as Askilfeasd said, suffixes. UGH, THE SUFFIXES.

 

Okay then, I never found any of that annoying, but to you it must be very annoying.

Think of it this way, culturally confused idiots. If they aren't Japanese, they shouldn't try to be. It's comparable to wangsters or chavs [lol, my new favorite word, DA]. :3

A young lad about 12 years of age and 4 ½ feet high, baseball cap at ninety degrees in a imitation addidas tracksuit, with trouser legs tucked into his socks (of course, is definitely the height of fashion). This lad is strutting around, *** in one hand jewellery al over the over, outside McDonalds acting as if he is 8 foot tall and built like a rugby player, when some poor unsuspecting adult (about 17/18) walks round the corner wanting to go to mcdonalds for his dinner glances at the young lad, the young lad jumps up in complete disgust and says “Whats your problem? Wanna make sommin of it? Bling Bling” when the adult starts to walk towards the young lad, the young lad pisses himself and runs off to either his pregnant 14-year-old girlfriend or his brother in the army crying his eyes out.
